Oh yeah? English is not my mother tongue so... I never lived in an English speaking country either.
I can only try and imagine what some words mean.

Now I should be offended wink

Hey Ash! I'm an abstinence promoter and I think Sex Ed is a good thing in public schools.

I had it in my 7-8th grade middle school for a year and a half. Education and be protected, being safe is the number 1.

There is not need for horror stories about kids using bread bags for protection, that's just plain stupid.

Not just flashing, silly, it's making a helicopter like move with your p***s. Grab it with your hand and make a clockwise move = like the propeller of a helicopter.

Hollow - I've heard about guys using clear wrap or saron wrap, I'm not sure which word you use, as protection. D: We should get sex ed here, we only get like some weird old woman talk to us about sex maybe twice in our lifetime for only a matter of hours each time. Once in the 7-9 classes and once in high school.

I heard about seram-wrap and a rubber band, and I heard about a guy who put the used condoms in the dishwasher and reused them. xd

I'm 16 and I've been able to drink several times. I've learned from my mistakes now, thankfully they weren't huge. No vomiting, passing out, or alcohol poisoning, no STD's, no wondering what happened to me or anything, so I suppose I'm lucky. But now if alcohol was offered to me, I'd turn it down. And when I can do it legally, I know I'll be able to do it responsibly, like I said, I've learned from my mistakes. The same thing happens to most people no matter what age they are, they go overboard, find their limits, and stick to them. 21 year old's drinking for the first time do it too, and so do 18 year old's. I don't understand why we can smoke, vote, and have sex, but not drink either. And, I don't think you should be able to join the military and not drink.

@Ash: I too, am an abstinence supporter, and I too, support education in schools. I made the personal choice to wait, but I know most people won't so the only thing that can be done is to encourage them to be safe. I also don't think that abstinence supporters should force it on anyone, it all comes down to a personal choice.

hollow and trevor - i dont think ash was meaning to imply that all those who choose to abstain dislike the idea of sex ed in schools. i believe he was targeting people like good old ronnie raygun, our late, esteemed former president, who was of the opinion that abstinence should be the only method taught in schools.

Someone compared the issue of teaching kids to drink responsible to how sex ed teaches kids how to do things responsibly.

I don't think I'm off-base in making that analogy, honestly.

As for my point about abstinence education, I probably should've specified what I meant better. On an individual level, abstinence is a perfectly acceptable choice that I can respect. However, as I've said before in topics such as this, my gripe arises when such things are brought into the public arena.
