"Of course, so what do you think of my home," he gestured back toward the water and to a little den that was near it. He smiled at her, relaxing in the sun as his fur began to dry off. He loved watching her, she seemed so relaxed as she sat beside him, it made him happy that she was happy around him. He was so glad that she came upon his home today, and hoped that she would visit him again. Of course, he was not quite ready to tell her that yet.

Aponi followed his gauze to a small hole in the river side, it looked cozy and very homey she liked it, "Oh its very pretty and homey looking" Aponi said. She liked it here and never wanted to go back anywhere she had been previously, Annan made her feel accepted and good about herself which was hard for any fox to do. she hoped so much that he would invite her back and that this isn;t an act to get close to a healer. Contented and happy she laid down with her head on her paws looking up at Annan with her deep blue eyes now.

He smiled at her, watching her avidly as he did. He really wanted her to stick around for a while, but he did not want to push her-she seemed wary of other foxes. "It is gonna be dark in about an hour, so if you have a far walk you should probably head out soon," he said, and then after a brief hesitation he added, "You are welcome to stay here though, if you do not feel like heading back today." He wondered what he answer would be, already planning to invite her to come back soon if she did choice to return to her home, where ever it was.

"I think that the bandages can survive for another night as long as I go and check them tomorrow", Aponi said with a far away voice deep in thought to make sure that it wouldn't get infected while she was gone. "I dont really want to travel in the dark because all of the bigger predators travel about now so i think its safer If i stay here, if you don't mind?" Aponi was suddenly embarrassed by her eagerness.

"I would love it if you would stay, and even though you have to go tomorrow, I hope you come and visit me soon," he said, really starting to like this beautiful fox. As the sun began to set, he said, "You look really gorgeous with the sun glinting in your eyes." He blushed after saying that, not really sure why he could not seem to stop himself from telling her everything. Still, he was very comfortable with her, and it did not really seem like a bad thing.

"Well I guess i will stay for the night then" Aponi said happy that she was accepted. Hearing the compliment she blushed deep red and looked at him like do you mean it really eyes. Wow either he's really stupid or really sweet or maybe a bit of both the self-conscious fox thought. "T-t-thanks I guess" she said looking at her paws blushing a deep red.

He smiled when he noticed she was blushing, he was glad that his words affected her. That was, after all, what he wanted. He hoped that she would stick around but if he did not affect her at all, there would be no chance of that. He was thrilled to hear that she was staying, even though he kept reminding himself not to get his hopes up. "Of course, your beautiful and you deserve to hear it," he said.

"Thanks" Aponi said without stammering for once, I think he really means it she thought giddy inside but her face remained calm except for a faint glint in her eye. She looked up at the constellations admiring their beauty in the night air trying to pull her thoughts from the purple and yellow fox Annan. Breathing softly as the sky got darker making the stars shne even brighter.

He smiled at her, and then, following her lead, looked at the stars. He started to point out different constellations to her, just as a topic to discuss. Meanwhile, he could not stop himself from sneaking looks over at her as often as he could. He hoped that she would not notice, or at least if she did notice that she would not mind too much. He was a little nervous, he was not used to caring what other people thought of him.

Aponi followed Annan's paw as he pointed them out, they where beautiful and she couldn't help looking over to look at him. His orange eyes bewildered her and his colorings where so unique. She turned again to watch the starry sky one of her favorite things to do until she got sleepy, her eyes drooped and exhaustion from the day came over her. She slowly closed her eyes and without thinking laid her head on him enjoying every moment.

Annan smiled when she rested her head on him, and as she dozed off, he curled around her to make sure she would not get cold in the night. He watched her, relaxing, until he too drifted off. He woke before her the next morning, and when he did he moved away from her slowly so that he did not wake her, and then he went into the river. He returned a few minutes later with fish, which he left near her as he dried himself off nearby.

Awakened by the smell of fish Aponi blinked her eyes open, "Hello there Annan" she said groggily only half awake. She stretched and yawned waking up more every minute. Aponi got up and shook all of the loose dirt off her coat and proceeded to wash herself smoothing out her bedraggled fur with her tongue.

Annan watched her with amusement, his own coat cleaned from the morning swim. "I caught some fish for us," he told her as she gave herself a thorough bath. He grabbed her cup from the day before and filled it with water and then sat that beside the fish. "I am sorry if I woke you though, I did try to be as quiet as I could," he told her, hoping that she had been ready to wake up. "I did not think the fish would disturb you, but I guess that could be it too," he added, still concerned that he woke her before she was fully rested.

Aponi stopped washing herself and looked to the fish "Thank you so much" she said sincerely, Aponi got up again and shaked once more before walking over to Annan. "Its quite alright I shouldn't have been quite a sleepy head" she said reassuringly pressing her muzzle to his shoulder. She dearly hoped he diddnt mind her pressing her muzzle to him she took pulled away "Sorry about that" she murmured."

"Don't be sorry, please. I want you to have," he said, and then turned bright red under his purple fur. "Sorry, I did not mean to tell you that..." he added, slightly embarrassed. He looked over at the river, then at the sky, and then finally at her, hoping she was not mad at him for what he had said. He looked over at her, still striken by her beauty and believing he was not good enough for any fox as beautiful as her.
