"Well what I hear is, the heavens go on forever..." He blinked and looked at Devil. "I guess I'll find out one day, huh?" He laughed some. It would be good to answer his own questions one day. As long as he could remember them. "Oh I can't wait. I'll never get lost again, and I can get everywhere quicker." he nodded. Those would be the perk he was aiming for. He had no idea that being able to fly would allow him to have really endless exploring. Distance for those on the ground could be daunting. "And if any ground danger comes, I can just fly away." Astrophel was never much of a fighter. Ot at least this side of him. Just like the other side couldn't fly.
"Hey I can see the apples!" Astrophel had gotten a bit excited. But he had come to really love apples. "Can anyone in your family fly?" He couldn't remember if that had been answered yet or not.

Hm, Devil seriously had no idea what that meant. How could something go on forever? That sounded kind of intimidating really. "Well, I hope you find what your looking for soon." He on the other hand would remain in the land, since that was all he knew of. But he was ok with that since there was a lot to explore! "A little danger would be fun now and then too. You should learn to fight! My father is always teaching my brother and I every day and so far I'll admit that's its fun. I love learning battle techniques." He knew he'd be ready for any conflicts that came his way when he grew up.
Within minutes they were at the apples, and Devil scurried away from the other foal so that he could munch on some himself. The apples tasted good, and his stomach was glad for the reward. "Naw, none of us can fly. We all have horns though, and these curly tails." His own wiggled as he spoke of it, and he continued to munch and munch with a happy glee. "This was a damn good idea!" Apparently he was hungrier than he thought.

When Devil headed off into his own direction Astrophel headed into his own and he looked around and nosed at some apples, biting into one. It tasted really good. His ears twitched to Devils exclamation and he was glad was for it. Eating his apples he looked around to see if any two leggers are lurking about... He grazed his way about, and headed over toward Devil, after getting his fill of apples. "Hey you know its getting kind of late. I think it might be time for me to get going soon."

Devil was surprised to hear the foal needed to make his way home, and he only shrugged while turning to face Astrophel. "You gotta do what you gotta do." And, if he needed to return to his home well, Devil understood that. "Thanks for the company, and good luck with your future endeavors." He bobbed his head lightly to other and continued to munch on apples. It was nice to interact with someone so close to his age, and now he could return home and tell his siblings about the creature he had met!

Looking over at the other colt again Astrophel had to wonder if they'd meet again. They had a chance meeting today so maybe that meant something. But then again, maybe thats all it was too. He'd be interested in seeing when when they were older, they would have alot of things to talk about but Devil could have forgotten him by then. "Yeah you too Devil." Astrophel said his goodbyes, and headed back off the way they had come. He gave a quick glance back at the other before Astrophel had lost the view, Something in him stirred at the idea of most likely never seeing him again. It was an odd concept for him, but one he was sure he'd have to get used too.
