Allete glanced about and finally seemed to notice that they were the attention of the authority. She made her way back over to Slythor. "What's with them?" She jerked her thumb at the nearest one. She didn't like them... they reminded her of the techs from the lab. And she didn't like the lab... or the techs.

Slythor sighed. "They don't trust Blue. Many places don't trust Blue at all. No one knows how neat Blue is, ever. " He spoke sadly. "So the authority doesn't want Blue to fly around and damage something precious, y;know?" He asked, smiling. "Wanna head to the butterfyl place? I heard they had real butterflies. It's really cool." He smiled. "I wonder if people will think blue eats butterflies. "

Allete glanced at the bird for a moment. "Huh." If people were so against this little bird... she wondered what kinds of reactions her sister got with her dragon... Maybe she was lucky in not having an animal with her everywhere...
"Butterflies?" The girl perked up some at that. Butterflies had wings. Wings were awesome. She grinned. "Probably," she stated in response to Slythor's last comment.

Slythor sighed. "Blue would never eat butterflies. People are so stupid these days." He stated flatly, some of his pride coming up, until Blue slightly nipped his ear to catch his attention. "Oh yes, butterflies. Let's go." He smiled and took her hand lightly. It was nothing of significance other than to help her weave the crowds, going backwards to the butterfly conservatory, which was near the entrance. They were onl the 3rd or 4th floor. It wasn't pleasant having to walk all those stairs but he wasn't going to complain.

Allete eyed the bird for a bit. "I guess they just don't like things that are different..." And they were off on the long trip back towards the butterfly conservatory. The long trip started to wear out Allete, who'd probably just gotten the most exercise in at once since... her last flying class.
As they entered the butterfly area, Allete was suddenly hugged by a little girl, who grinned shyly at Slythor. Allete blinked and glanced down to see her sister. "This is Evelyn. Evelyn this is Slythor... and Blue." The preteen hid a groan. If her sister was here, then that meant her mother was here too.
Evelyn tugged at Allete. "Flowers. Pretty flowers." She softly stated, dragging the older girl over to where the butterflies were flitting from flower to flower.

Slythor looked surprised at the little girl that hugged Allete. He shrugged and nodded to her. Blue chiped, feeling the same as he. The two followed the girl to the conservatory, where they gave their tickets and were allowed into a large room with butterflies everywhere and the head of a rainforest. Almost immediately a large one flew onto Blue's head.

Allete looked around at the various butterflies flying about the room. This was rather neat... She giggled when one of the butterflies landed on Blue's head. "Now, no eating it!" She teased the bird, trying not to burst out laughing in the process.
Niki caught up to her two daughters, frowning at Allete. "I was wondering where you'd gone to..." The woman glanced to the boy standing next to the two girls. He looked like something that would come from the same place as Allete.

Slythor watched as butterflies landed on Blue quite willingly... he bet it was because they thought he was some sort of flower... besides, the bird probably smelled different from the rest of the environment and attracted them. He then looked over to the rest of Allete's family. "Hello. I'm Slythor. I've been keeping Allete company." He tried to be polite once he caught sight of the mother.
