"I have a hard time understanding things." she stated rather simply, while closing her eyes slowly. "My mind is always flustered and exhausts me over every simple thing. I wish I could just chill out and ignore little details, but I can't. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I know with time I'll learn to cope." Bleh. It was embarrassing to admit something so personal to someone, but Dante had already admitted A LOT to her. So, she found it fair to vent a little herself. "I've never talked to mom or dad about it because they think we are all perfect. But I am far from perfect..."

It was embarrassing, really. Her parents were proud of their efforts and their children, but luckily Cresil was able to blend rather easily into the background. She preferred that Reaver took the spotlight from Reaper, and that her other siblings impressed her mother with their beauty. Sometimes she wished she could be impressive somehow, but she couldn't find a fit anywhere. "Its just hard to fit in when all you notice are the differences." And all of the flaws.

She glanced back up towards Dante and smiled lightly. She didn't want him to be discomforted, either. "Well, its half and half. Dad changed, and he's not going to force you or make you change. But he knows its a decision you have to make on your own. You are the only one who can shape your own future as well." Reaper couldn't force Dante to do anything anymore, it was not his right. Cresil hoped Dante understood that now, and that he had the true freedom to do what he wished. If he wanted a life without his father, well, then that would be his choice. No one else's.

It seemed Cresil had far more issues then Dante had imagined. He suddenly felt very selfish, assuming that the child had everything she wanted in her current family predicament. It was as if he assumed such positivity to be true only because his father had his 'dream' family now. But he supposed even with his father's change there would still be souls who were casted and confused. Then again, Cresil was still young. She would figure herself out as time went on. It was probably hard with SO many siblings as well. She would definitely turn out ok!

"Trust me, there's no reason to stress on whatever bothers you now. Things definitely change as you grow up, and the way you look at life will change for the better." Dante didn't believe any of that to be true when he was younger, but now he was finding it all possible through his great experiences. "Just as I have to choose about father, you have to choose about yourself." He then winked at her lightly, and hoped she understood him well. "If I am to make a decision about my future, then you must for your well being as well."

Still, even though Cresil had told him so much, he still felt burdened and confused. He didn't know what he was going to do. But that was ok, he thought. At least he was thinking about his future, and considering his father now more than before.

"I don't believe you should be embarrassed to hide anything from your father especially. Out of anybody in this world he would definitely understand any pains you feel." Dante wished he could have that kind of relationship with his father. Well, maybe one day. But it felt so impossible to even dream about sometimes.

"I believe I've kept you too long, Cresil." he then added, while noticing the sun's shift from one part of the sky to the other. "Don't you think it's about time you return home?"

Cresil hoped Dante was right. If things could change then Cresil could move on from her petty thoughts and worry about other things. And when he mentioned the similarity they both had in their decisions, she could only chuckle lightly. "Well I want a good future. So of course I'll make the right decision." As for Dante... it was up to him. She couldn't say more on the subject, since it t was not her place to decide.

If Cresil wanted to admit her sad feelings to her father, he'd probably think she was weak or lacking. Cresil never wanted to put her father in that position, anyways. "Well venting to you has already made me feel so much better. So there is no reason to tell my dad if I feel better now." She wished she could make Dante feel better, too. She said everything her brother asked but was still worried about his flustered thoughts. "I hope that I've shared information well enough for you to understand anything you wanted." Cresil hadn't communicated this much in her entire life. And she could learn a lot from this experience with Dante.

It probably was time for her to rush home, and she looked upwards and noticed the complete attitude change from before. Just an hour or so ago she was focused on running away from home. But now she was feeling relieved to return to her family. Dante had helped her focus on something else and realize she wasn't the only one with sad thoughts or growing issues. Dante really was a good individual, and she was thankful to run into him.

"Yeah, its probably time. But are you going to be ok?" she looked at him with eager eyes and seriously wondered about his well being. "Thanks so much for talking to me Dante and teaching me so much. I hope I can talk like this with you again." So, this was her step brother Dante. She rather liked him, and felt a great connection. Their minds obviously thought similarly and that was comforting.

She would SO tell her father about this. He'd probably be jealous too. But, she'd never reveal Dante's secrets or feelings. She'd only boast that she met him and had a great time with him!

Of course he was going to be ok. He chuckled lightly towards the filly's question and shook his head at her. "Please, I've survived everything thus far, right? Have faith in me, will ya?" He then nuzzled her gently on the forhead and looked forward toward the direction she came from. If she left now she'd make it home and find no problems with her father and mother. Luckily Dante didn't keep her for too long time wise, but if it was any longer he knew they would start to worry and search for her. And he did NOT want that.

"And we'll meet again. I have a knack for finding those I want, and I'll definitely search for you sometime." Meeting Reaper's newest children was just another way for him to somehow connect with his father. So hey, that in itself was a step for the better. "But for now, go enjoy your childhood and remember to always show love and comfort for your siblings. You have the heart and strength to take care of them, so do that as best you can."

Dante then nudged the filly forward, and he could only say "Now go, little one!"

If Dante didn't want her to worry anymore, then she wouldn't. But she'd still think about him, and hope for the best. As he spoke his last words and nudged her forward, she moved into a light trot but kept her eyes focused on the grey stallion. "I'll do all those things and make you proud! See you later, brother."

And with that, she turned her head forward and watched a familiar trail appear. In just a few minutes she would be back and in her home-front. A part of her wished Dante could have come with her, but maybe one day. For now, she had things to do, and time to kill until she would be a complicated adult like Dante!

Or at least, she thought that's what he meant!
