Ohanzee scooped Annelise up in his front legs/arms and took her back into the cave, laying her down gently on furs. He watched her, holding her paw and wiping sweat off her face. "I'm ready to help you through this."

Annelise smiled up at him and nodded. She felt the first one as it was delivered. Breathing in and out, she squeezed his paw, though it was gently so as not to hurt him.

Ohanzee moved down and gently rested the new shake next to his first one, then waited to rest the other two there as well. He watched her, frowning softly to see her in so much pain.

She delivered the next over the few hours that had passed, and felt exhausted. Annelise smiled up at Ohanzee, and whispered, "I'm fine," as to assure him the worst was over. She curled slightly, up in a ball and stared at the shakes. "My what a cute little bunch," she managed before falling asleep.

Ohanzee nuzzled his mate, comforting her as she drifted off to sleep. He smiled warmly at the shakes and stroked them for a moment. Soon enough he was asleep as well, one arm over his love, the other next to their babies.

She soon drifted off into a much deserved slumber, as she felt her mate next to her. Annelise dreamt soundly of a life with Ohanzee that'd never get old, and snuggled into him in her sleep feeling sound and safe. Her tail brushed up against the shakes, and curled lightly around them lovingly helping to keep them warm, as she felt her lover's arm around them as well.Fin
