"Thanks." He smiled and whipped out his lyric book. Well, I did write more on the song I was writing before:

Techno smiled and listened to him sing the lyrics. "It's very nice." She said with a nod then played with her hair nervously, "What do you feel when you right a song like that? Love? Heartache?" She always wondered about the little things like that when writing a song. SHe couldn't do anything great like writing music.

"Hmm...that's a really good question actually.." Lyric thought about this for a few minutes before he replied, "I don't really know. I feel like this song wants to come out and I'm the way for it to come out. I haven't really felt love or heartache yet, so I'm writing more what I think it would be, you know?" He turned to her and smiled hoping she understood what he meant.

Techno wanted to ask him about anyone he had loved but he said he didn't love anyone. She walked in silence. Her brain was going on about things she had told Val. She was so close to being considered an adult that it was almost unbearable. The age different between her and Lyric sucked.

"So, what have you been up to since we last met? Been out to sneak more candy?" He winked with a smile at her. That was a fun trip. He liked hanging out with Techno. "Can beta do anything new, I should know about?"

Techno smiled brightly when he said candy, "I have went back once or twice. I'm good friends with the store owner. He gives me bags of candy for only seventy-five cents!" She couldn't believe how much of a kid she sounded like when she said that. "Beta can do a lot of things. Most you haven't seen. I'm almost done with him. I can't figure out how to get his translator right. Accents are killers for him but I'm working on it. I also am working on his computer coding a bit, he has a lot of glitches."

"Seventy-five cents? Wow he must be a great friend." He laughed and then looked at Beta, "Really? You need to show me what he can do. I'm amazed by him..and you." He turned away just then but only to smile to himself.

Techno couldn't stop smiling, she knew her face would start to hurt if she didn't stop. "I'm only doing what comes natural." She listened to Beta start to blink and beep and she opened his head to see a message from Val. "She wants me to come home." Her voice was saddened and her smile instantly went away, she had so much fun staying and talking to Lyric but Val knew that and thats why Val was calling her back home.

"Well, that's good. Keep doing what comes natural." He smiled back and watched her mess with Beta. "Really? So soon? Well, we'll have to meet up again, ok?" He was sad that this meeting had been short, but looked forward to seeing her again.

Techno just sadly walked away back into the forest, with a heavy sign to follow her. "Yea, I hope I will see you again." She sad sadly and vanished into the forest. She could hear Beta beep and then she programmed him to Lyric's DNA, then told it that if it didn't ask permission it was gonna lose some of it's emotion program chips.

Lyric frowned as her emotions seemed to go south. She seemed so sad to leave...and he felt the same. He sat down on a log and pulled out his lyric book. He hummed as he wrote a song about loneliness and separation.
