Takashen looked back at Rune and the two helix frozen in mid air.He could not even belive his eyes. Was this real? Was this all a crazy dream? Would he wake up back alone again?He had to ask rune. "Then.. If they are frozen.. And we can move.. What are we?? Why did you bring me here??" He looked back over at Rune this had to be faxe a dream a hoax how could time.. Time its self have stoped? It simpley did not happen

Rune shrugged, "I dunno." He really didn't. Something new probably, else they'd have a name. "Strangelings," he said with forced humor. Then Rune thought about the second thing he said. Brought him here, had he? Was he truely not alike? Was this all the result of his strong wishful thinking? He hoped not. He shook this off in a literal manner.
"It's not that bad," he lied, "There're really cool things." It wasn't a lie, Rune had grown afraid of the silence, the loneliness; but it wasn't so now. And there were cool things, like a flock of birds caught in mid-flight. "C'mon, I'll show you!" he said, rather desperately. He turned and galloped away to find one of the wonders. Meanwhile, his mind wandered to his being able to bring others into this Twilight hour. Could he learn to do this?

Takashen: *Wonderd* "How can this be cool??I mean everything is still.." *He walked over to the wolves and bit one of them* "Ok fine i will go with you show me? We might be able to become friends" *He walked over to rune* "Lets go!" *He playfully nipped runes ear*

Rune Heart scowled when the pup took a bit out of one of a Helix. It was rather disrespectful. He hoped it wouldn't become a habit. The pup trotted along the path he knew so well, the only relaxing place he'd found in all his short lifetime. The lake.
A leaping fish, leaving a trail of dropletts in its wake, frozen like a very skilled ice sculpture. A flock of swans in mid take-off, quite a sight. He just hoped the other pup didn't try to take advantage for a free meal. He sat down and glanced at Takashen to see his expression.

Rune sighed. The pup's question was the one he culd not answer. "The gods have woven it into our soul," he answered. It was a simple answer that'd usually be accepted without question. "We'd have to ask them." As the words left his maw, he realized that was exactly what he needed to do. Glancing at the distracted pup, he thought if he'd like to come along.
Rune aproached Takashen cautiously and asked him.

"If it was a curse," Rune reasoned, "there'd be scary things that attack little puppies like we." Did this mean Takashen was beginning to accept it? Would he join the quest? "We have to ask the gods themselves. You up for an adventure?" Rune made excited little movements, though he mostly dreaded the near future.
((We should invite other people, or a quest'd be boring.))

Takashen: *Looks around* "Well i guess i wont be missed." *He looks around at the area* "I will go with you then i want to know why I and you can see this and why most cant.. If its a gift or a curse i must know.." *His stomac growled* "Aww im hungry"

Rune nearly sighed with relief, but then that wouldn't be well taken. "Really," he added, "it lasts only an hour." He should know, lest he be taken by surprise, hurt by ignorance even. "Hmm." He was hungry too, but killing something when it was so defenseless wasn't right. "Ah, I know." He turned North and trotted off. "There's a shine just beyond the fields there, and food for us. It's alright, Merlotte shares."
((Other Helix that'd be in regular time. I wanna grow Rune into an Alpha, and my next pair into Betas and so on. He'd need to meet quite a few... And we won't be alone and stuck with what do do next.))

Rune Heart led him to Merlotte's home, a large temple structure made of marble and other materials he didn't know. It didn't particularly matter either, but he always found himself pondering on things that didn't matter. What of the colors a diamond could be or what a star really is? It wasn't essenssial to live, such knowledge was best for the gods to know and the mortals to simply accept and leave be. Rune strode over to the altar and bit into a rice ball, savoring the bean paste in the middle. "Don't be picky Takashen, eat up." Merlotte herself hid among the unshifting shadows which reached beyond. She was as still as the earth.
The lovely sky colored helix wasn't a god or anything, she simply had a light gift to make crops prosper, which was why the village took care of her and made offerings she helped grow.

Rune Heart detected the sparkle that announced the closing of the Twilight Hour and hurried to finish his meal. "Hope you're stuffed, Taka, 'cause we need to leave." He grabbed a fish off a golden plate and fled the temple before any human maidens would awaken and see the mess they made.
"Up and at 'em, it's a long day tomorrow and we have to rest." Rune found a nice spot outside of a dwelling where a fire blazed on the other side and warmed the spot where he lay.
