Connor screamed for Nine to dodge the heaved platform and jump into the water, but it was too late. As she was jumping, the platform caught her feet and made her spin around until she finally fell in the water. "Nine!" He yelled, frightened.
A dark shadow was seen on the surface of the water and Connor immediately recognized it as Nine. "Don't overexert yourself, Nine. Try to float. You gotta hang in there. We gotta hang in there. Use Hypnosis when you're ready." he said doubtedly.
Nine resurfaced slowly and lapped at the water around her. She tried swimming but it was no use. She hated feeling so tired during a battle. At least it was the end, she thought. She reveled in the fact that it might soon be over and her eyes started dimly glowing. Slowly, but surely, her eyes glowed brightly.

"We're getting to the good part now~" Luna said to no one in particular, a large grin obviously stretched across her face. She had always wanted to try this next move. "Ram, sleep talk!"
The smaller drifting pieces of concrete began to circle around Ram in the water, an indication that the sleeptalk was indeed working. Then, suddenly, they shot out from the water and randomly at all directions since Ram's eyelids were too heavy to do any proper aiming.
Luna ducked below her stadium rail, arms infront of her face. "Okay, maaaaaybe asking Ram to aim when he was asleep was not such a good idea."
The cranidos rolled over in his sleep, having a blissful dream of brutally crushing his opponent. "zzz...Dos...zzz...dos...crani...dos..."

Connor almost jumped with glee. "Good job, Nine! We got him right where we want him." He had minimal time to notice the rocks that were floating in mid-air and flying towards Nine. He stared, dumbfounded. "Try to jump out of the way and use Dream Eater!" he commanded Nine.
Unfortunately, Nine was already exhausted from the battle and had no time to react. She was hit by one of the pieces of concrete and flew to the very edge of the platform.
"Nine!" screamed Connor. "Get up! Come on! You can do this!"
Nine struggled to get up. She managed to get up and then fell once more. Too exhausted, thought Nine. Still, she tried until she succeeded. Once she had enough energy to move, her eyes shone once more. This time, a bright purple.

((Lawl, you did dream eater too late. My pokemon isn't sleeping anymore. It'll only be effective if in the post after the attack the pokemon is still asleep. Like this

Ram: *ASLEEP* 1/1
instead it's this
You: DREAM EATER!
Ram: *awake* o3o
So you basically inflict 100 damage but you don't get any of the healing effects xD
You will soon learn that sleep for 1 turn is basically just stalling the battle and has barely any effect xD ))
"Haha, not really~" Luna said with amusement at Connor's glee. Ah new trainers. Well, mistakes were the way to gaining experience after all. "Ignore it Ram and go! One more hit!"
Ram did as Luna said -he pushed the probe that he felt at the back of his mind from Nine's attack and instead focused on levitating the platform Nine was on this time. Using his full mental force, Ram used his ancient power attack to control the concrete circle keeping Nine afloat and commanded it to break into pieces

((Ahh! Heh. Well, like you said, new trainer and this serves as experience. :] ))
Connor gaped as the rock KO-ed Nine. He ran to her and petted her fur. "You did alright, Nine. Thanks for helping me out with this. It was great." He took out Nine's pokeball and Nine disappeared in it with a faint red light. "You'll rest better in here."
He turned his attention to Luna. "Thanks again, Luna. Here's your pokemon." He handed the pokeball to her and shaked her warmly by the hand. "That was great! I'll see you around then?"

Luna returned her smug-looking cranidos to his pokeball as well. "Good job you sneaky little dino~" Luna said to the ball before clipping it back to her belt and making her way to meet the other trainer.
"Thanks~" She said, accepting Nine's ball back. "It was~You made a few mistakes since it's your first time but I think you have the determination to excel~! And yah, we'll definitely see each other around if you stick in Katarina, I'm mostly stuck here all the time because of my duties," Luna let out a mock gag at the word duties but continued, "and other stuff. You're free to use Nine anytime too, just come by and find me in the gym stadium somewhere...just try not to get hit by those new anvil traps I'm installing though, they're pretty painful~"
