Krii'Ouse nodded. 'Alright then, I'm pretty sure room eleven is open. We'll slide you into there as soon as we can. You want to do that now, or watch the movie?' he asked, turning to the TV. 'I don't mind either way. Good to know you're ready to move in with us!'
Krii'Ouse was getting less nerved. He had been messing with his wrist computer a bit, and seemed to get hacked at the messages he was reading, and typing back. He did them quickly, as not to retract attention from the situation.
'Stupid vamp.' he mumbled. 'Bloody Tick.'

Despite his attempts at hiding the tapping on his wrist computer, the actions of Krii'Ouse did not go unnoticed by the observant eyes of Liora. Though she was well aware of the possibility that he might not be messing around on the Network, Liora cooly pulled her own cellphone out of her pocket and brought up her messages as she'd seen Ricardo do previously. She mashed the 'down' button with a crimson manicured nail, and the words from the previous messages flashed across her cellphone's screen at a fast rate. Liora masked whatever reaction she had to what she read with a coy smile and a blank mind. Her cellphone popped slightly as she swung its face shut and pocketed it once more.
"We came down here to watch a movie, so let's continue watching it. We can wait to move me in. It'd be hard to do so without the rest of my personal effects, anyway."
Her golden eyes shifted back to the tv screen. Countless emotions, thoughts, calculations, and, most of all, mysteries flashed behind her golden orbs, but Liora intentially allowed only thoughts on the movie to rise to the surface. Her pleasure at the deaths on both the evil vampire's and lycan's sides, her respect for the morals of the lead vampiress, and the subtle thrill she got from the more action-driven scenes were all her mind visibly clung to at the moment.

Krii'Ouse realised she'd checked the messages on the HIN, but didn't care. 'Well, as you will.' he said, turning to the TV again. The movie was progressing quickly, and they'd already reached the part when the vampires find that the lycans are using UV rounds.
'Heh, funny that, we have those! We had em before this movie, beeotch!' he said jestingly. He sipped his Goose Island, which was running low. 'You want a Coke or something?' he asked, putting his bottle doen, and flippin backwards over the couch.

Liora chuckled lightly at his joking. Though he was just joking about the UV rounds, Liora was tempted to inquire more into the subject. Though she'd recieved a crash-course tour of the grounds, the Haven's exact functions and workings remained a mystery to her.
"I don't think I need any caffiene in my system right now," spoke Liora in a declination of his offer of pop. Her thirst was sated by the few swallows of vodka she'd had, and she really didn't want to get a bit of a sugar buzz from the soda. Soda was something that Liora didn't help herself to too often; at her old apartment, she'd just settled for water or juice, being the closet health-nut she was. Soda was a rare treat.
"Ah, heck." she exclaimed after a moment. She flashed an embarassed grin at Krii'Ouse as though she were abashed by her indecision. "You've talked me into it. I'll have a Coke, please."
Her tone suggested that she was well aware of the irony in her last statement; Krii'Ouse had quite obviously done nothing to talk her into having a coke.

Krii'Ouse laughed, and opened the fridge. He pulled out a two bottles of coke. He was lightening up. Thank God. He didn't want to slip into such a repressed state of hatred. That wouldn't be good. Especially now.
'I hope that Tick comes soon.' he commented lowly, realising she'd read some of the messages in the HIN. 'I'll thrash him.' He slid back into position in the couch, and handed the pop to her, after twisting the cap off on the underside of his right forearm skin.
'That's a trick I learned from a friend.' he said, popping his own off, and sipping from it.

Accepting the pop gratefully from Krii'Ouse, Liora smiled at Krii'Ouse's strange trick of opening the Coke. The coke had created quite a bit of froth at the top, and Liora slurped it up happily. That was her favorite part, afterall. Sheesh. Drinking the Coke filled her with a certain nostalgia and made her feel like a little girl again.
"He's taking care of some business, right now." she spoke calmly. This whole conflict wasn't really something that Liora wished to be involved in; both Krii'Ouse and Astande had her respect if not her trust, and siding with one of them would be tantamount to betraying the other. "I still don't think this is a good time to start a conflict among our own ranks. A force divided is a force defeated, or however that saying goes."
Liora gestured vaguely as she struggled to recall the exact words of her saying. At last sighing in resignation of the task, she took another swallow from her coke and diverted her gaze back to the television.

'Yeah, whatever.' Krii'Ouse dismissed the phrase, trying not to be a**l about it. 'He's got to be taught a lesson, and the sooner that happens, the better off we'll be.' he said. He watched the TV again, and the movie was half-way through. 'Wow, this movie's flying past, heh.' he said, sipping his root beer, thus finishing it off.

"Perhaps, perhaps not." Liora spoke with a shrug. It was her way of trying to emphasize her neutrality in the situation. However, she did agree with Krii'Ouse's comment on the movie. Underworld was flying by at a hectic pace. Somehow, she recalled it as being much longer. She took another swallow of her now frothless Coke. Her curiosity was eating at her again, but Liora realized it would be best to avoid asking questions if she wished to avoid being asked questions as well. If Liora wanted more information, she knew she would have to be careful.
"So, how long has the Haven and the NYG been around?" she asked casually.

'I don't know how long it's been here, but I've been here for about two years. I rarely Hunted though. I've only recently started Hunting more often. I usually just stayed in the Generator Room, since I'm electrokinetic, I can keep this place from overloading. It's happened before, and luckily I haven't had to run to the Generator Room for a while.' he said, chuckling.
He sipped his Coke, and sat back leasurely. 'How long you been Hunting?' he asked curiously.

Liora sighed softly to herself. Well, apparently her question hadn't been broad enough to avoid being asked questions herself. Though she moved to take another sip from her Coke bottle, she instead lowered it and gazed pensively at the sloshing brown liquid inside. In order to avoid further questioning, Liora realized that she would have to answer truthfully. Being coy about her reply would only arouse suspicion.
"I've been hunting for about six to seven months." she replied. Liora sipped on her Coke before returning her gaze to Krii'Ouse. "Does this place overload frequently, or something? I wonder why."

'No, it just has a tendency to have the power tweak out sometimes. I mean seriously, we have Haven down here, Hunter's upstairs with the huge lights, the sound system, Haven has all the infirmary electronics, and lights adns cuh, a plain old generator can't keep stable that long.' he said in reply.
'After the movie I'll check on it and, if you want, we can start packing you up to move in!'

Liora attempted to keep her thoughts regular as Krii'Ouse replied to her without asking another question. If she hadn't been socializing with a telepath, her mind most likely would have been doing victory cartwheels.
"That sounds splendid." she replied. "However, are you sure it's wise to 'pack me up' under this lockdown? My old apartment's in the city..."
Liora drained the last of the coke before screwing its cap back on. She then twirled the empty coke bottle around in her hand as a bartender would. Spying the a trashcan across the room, Liora aimed and threw the Coke can at the trashcan. It bounced dangerously off the rim before landing smoothly in the trashcan. Liora smiled approvingly to herself.

'As long as we don't stumble upon any nonHunter Immortals, we'll be fine. Well, as long as we don't stumble onto any *hostile* nonHunter Immortals. Some Immortals are passive, like Neko. She's a friend. How she convinced me not to kill her is beyond me.' he said, finishing his Coke off. Ironically, as he finished his drink, the end scene came to a close with the credits beginning to roll.
'Well, that's queer.' he said, mentally tossing his bottles into the trash simultaneously. 'Well, shall we?' he asked, standing, and removing his DVD, replacing it into his case. 'We'll be fine. We'll take the Krii'Vette.'

Liora nodded. What Krii'Ouse was telling her she already knew. The passive Immortals were of no concern to her; it was the aggressive ones whom she wished to kill and whom she despised. Also, it seemed to take an act of sheer will to find the aggressive immortals; often, the case was that they found you. But, from what Krii'Ouse was telling her, she suspected that they would be fine.
"The Krii'Vette?" she repeated, lofting her eyebrows and giving him a humorous yet quizzical look. Laughter danced in her eyes, but Liora witheld any audible signs of the laughter. "That's quite clever."
It was the cleverness of the name that amused her; a fine sense of wit was one of many things that appealed to Liora Thorne. Also, fine sports cars had the same effect. She was sold; they would go to her Apartment.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" she asked, rising to her feet. "Lead the way; I don't know where your Krii'Vette's parked."

'Alright, and thanks. Well, it's in the garage, let's go pay the place a visit.' he said, escorting her past his room, where he tossed his DVD in, and continued up the ladder through Hunter's, and into the garage.
