InsaneFatality Engies are much more complicated than you think. = But we won't go into that. Never said it wasn't complicated. I just said its the easiest class to pick-up-and-play without any real skills but get good kills.

RED_CAP Box Faces You know my Spy in a Barrel montage? I was a Spy a lot then, and I'm not actually that great as a Spy.
But I have decided, that I hate Pyros.
I especially hate good Pyros.
They always kill me. :c I'm a good pyro >:C WHY WOULD YOU HATE ME? my other idea for the flaregun was why not make its burn faster making a skilled pyro to hit its target more making the idea to fire at them more with it then relying on the splash damage Although NOT hitting someone with the flare just barely hitting his foot pisses me off. That sounds alright, as useful as the Flaregun is, there isn't a great reward of actually getting a hit with it.
So far, the best use is disabling a Sniper for a while, which can be frustrating for the Sniper, but the rest of your team won't really notice/care, and you won't get any points of kills, so it's just a matter of being a compete p***k in the end.
Which is alright sometimes though.

iRavi ...Nah, With a sentry, you don't even have to aim. But you DO need to find a good spot to put it, otherwise it'll get destroyed before it really has a chance.
Whether you have to aim as a Pyro is often debateable, because we're all fags.

The flaregun is useful against snipers. Disturbing them by setting them on fire and set them running for a health pack or stock cabinet, thus, leaving their post. This would be very useful as on some maps, where skilled snipers graze for easy targets. Now suppose that there is a sniper ahead and is the only thing stopping your Heavy-Medic from getting into your opponets compound and wreaking havok on their sentrys that are preventing your scouts from getting in. Now you go Pyro and go ahead of the Ubercharge ready Heavy-Medic pair and shoot your flaregun at serveral snipers and they bail and your pair passes the sniper area and on their way to beating the other team. To them, a team with no teamwork I mean, they think they happened to pass the sniper field right when the snipers decided to leave. Lucky them. But this is a bad example. Think like this. Really good sniper tagging you and your team alot. Get some vengeance by going pyro, and shooting him with the flaregun. He goes running for health. And you get a good laugh.

A perfect description of my only issue with the flaregun.
Seeing as your team just do not notice or care at all, so I only use it "for teh lulz". I suppose there can't really be a fix for your team noticing however, other than "BOX FACE JUST SET FIRE TO THAT SNIPER GIVE HIM A BROWNIE."
