This is a very cool idea. However, I could go either way. This is fine on gaia, but if you made a website, I would join. This really does sound like a pretty cool idea, though.

Cartwright Mokoto Suunam Cartwright What would be the perfect move for me is that everyone joined and all storylines were transfered to the new site as that way everyone still has something familar to get into, so that not everything is too unknown and, dare I say, scary? Maybe not realistic if some members think like Miro but that would be perfect! Yes Mokoto, there would be a history page for certain so that new members would know what's been happening here! I would also keep the title histories and maybe have a section for some of the awesome promos that have been posted in the past! It would be a shame to lose promos like the Bloody Reich Reunion, TapOut Mafia formation, Jed vs Joey, Mr. X vs. Jacob (last one match!) etc! Another of my thoughts is, with the right advertising of this new site, it would bring in new members unique to the site making it even more interesting! Maybe other RP websites could be contacted about posting a link to the site for more veterans of other sites etc! I have some big ideas like that! cool DJ, spammers would be banned from the forums as they would be here, simple! mrgreen Er- just added in something that you missed. xd But anyways, I use to do some site designing with some friends some time ago, although I'm, REALLY rusting. If you need any help, I'll be there to do so.I've been using Dreamweaver, I might as well ask if anyone else is familar with it too! xd Adobe?...
Nope. xd

Instead of doing a website, you need to update the results of DTD.

Supersoakerkiller Instead of doing a website, you need to update the results of DTD. The crew's on it as we speak! Patience young one! blaugh Quote: I dont have it on my home computer, and I'm not great at it, but I've got a bit of experience with Dreamweaver. It had been a fleeting thought that anyone who wanted to post their character blogs etc in the new EEW.com would need dreamweaver, but nah! All they'd have to do is send me the text and I'd update that section with their news! 3nodding

Actually Cart, that was one of the things I was gonna ask you about a while ago. I've gotten quite good at using Zeta, and I've had my own forum for almost 4 years.
It has the ability for members to have their own blog, you can color peoples names to show who's on what roster, who's the champions, who's the administrator/moderators. It's really quite intriguing, and would be alot easier to manage than coding, since everything is pretty much already done.

Ah, is Zeta like one of those programs I have heard of that lets you manage forums? Do you need a database to use it? May I ask what forum you use? Is it free?

I can make a preview board for you if you want.

I bet they won't last forever like here on Gaia!

I honestly don't find this to be a good idea, but that's just because I really don't feel like having to go to another site just to RP. I did that with G-fed, and it was the reason I left for a few months back before the summer. But that's just because it was all 2 page long promos that you had to make by yourself, and killed my creativity. If you keep the website like it is in the guild, then I'll join up. But if it becomes like G-fed, I can guarantee you will NOT see me on that site at all.
That is all I have to really say about the matter.

The promos here are great as they are, what would be the point in forcing you to do a two page promo anyway if you can say everything you want in one post?

G-Fed makes you do your whole promo in one post, and pretty much with only your character, unless you plan work with someone else's character. But even then, it always doesn't work out. It's quite hard to explain...
