Yamato spun sideways (left) to dodge the attack and all in one motion, he attempted to stab kisame with the wakizashi sword (short sword) in his shoulder. While in the other hand he had a kunai held up to his abdomen in defense.

Kisame spun around smacking the sword away with Samehada then aimed a kick towards Yamato's chest.

The recoil of the impact from the shamehada jolted Yamato's hand which had the Wakizashi but he still held on tightly to it. Then at the last possible moment he saw kisame's kick coming at his chest. He moved his body slightly back but instead of blocking he attempted to stab it with the kunai he had in the other hand.

Itachi, seeing this, threw a shuriken precisely towards the hand that Yamato was holding the kunai with.

Yamato's eyes widened as kisame's foot was literally about a centimeter away from his chest. Yamato then jumped backwards to get a little distance, with that he looked over at Itachi. "sharingan is the only way you could have stopped that and judging by your looks i'm guessing you're Uchiha Itachi." Yamato said awaiting a response.

Itachi just stared at Yamato for a while before looking towards the gate, as if waiting somebody. Kisame, however, took this chance to swing down towards Yamato's shoulder.
