 This whole situation was just getting worse and worse. Not a glimmer of understanding in any face, funny-sounding names and titles...and on top of that, the weird, silent kid was starting to creep Ed out... He watched, somewhat amazed, when Ebisu left. What kind of person could disappear like that? Although, as long as he wasn't another homonculous, the brothers wouldn't stress about it too much. The shorter of the pair shrugged. "I don't even know what area or country we're in..." He thought over introductions for a second or two then, considering her apparent status within her town, opted for the full, formal version. "Edward Elric, Full Metal Alchemist, of Central City, Amestris.""Alphonse Elric, of Central City, Amestris." The younger brother followed Ed's example even though he didn't have an official title to throw in there. Both pairs of eyes glanced over the maps on the desk...and didn't recognize a single country.

Naruto quickly glanced back at Sai who he thought was more anoying than Sauske. "Uzumaki Naruto, future hokage of the village hidden in the leaves." he smiled. If they knew the basic jutsu then maybe he could con Tsunade into takeing that freak off their team and replace him with one of them.

"Edward, and Alphonse, you are currently in Fire Country." She pointed to the dot in the middle of thier country. 'Konoha ~ Village Hidden in the Leaves,' was writen next to the dot. "And you're an Alchemist, huh?" The word seemed to ring a bell. She had a distant look as if she were planing something. "Alchemists are rare here. I'll make you a deal. If you work for Konoha for a bit, I'll try everything I can to find this Amestris. I'll send word to the Kazekage in Suna to have a scout ship search the ocean for any other islands and whatnot. You two can work with Naruto, Sakura, Sai, and Yamato. Maybe help them become a team."

Shizune, with Tonton in her arms and Pakun at her heels, walked down the street towards the Hokage building. She didn't know why Lady Tsunade had requested the dog, but the woman had a serious look in her eyes so it must have been important.

Fire Country? Village Hidden in the Leaves? What kind of weird place had that blasted gate sent them to this time? The two took a closer look at the map, such strange countries...They both nodded at the word 'alchemist'. Al's lack of a fancy title didn't make him any less skilled than his brother. Woah, hang on. Work? For this weird town? Edward groaned inwardly, he'd been hoping to just get directions and begin their journey, but no. But...she would help them if they helped her... Ed had a bad feeling about all this... Before the shorter teen could answer, Alphonse grinned brightly "Thank you! We'll do our best to help out in any way we can.""Al! Why would you agree to that? We don't know what kind of work these guys do."Al frowned lightly "It's only polite, brother. She'll help us find our way home if we don't make ourselves a burden."Edward grumbled and, unable to find a comeback to the obvious logic, glanced at Naruto and Sakura, "What do you guys do, anyway?"

"We're ninja. We do various things. One day you could be walking people's dogs and the next you could be spying on Orochimaru." He was a bit shocked at the fact that they didn't know what work they did. "I have a question for you now. What is an alchemist and what do they do?"

Sakura sighed. "Naruto, they tought us about that back in the acadamy. Though is was a short lesson, you should have been paying attention instead of skipping classes like a little delinquent. An alchemist is like a scientist, working to turn one matter into another. They also use jutsu in their expiraments with animals, creating monsters called cameras. It's similar to what Orochimaru does, only he uses living human beings for his experaments." Sakura glared down at the floor before turning to Ed and Al with a smile. "Im Haruno Sakura, by the way. That's Sai over there with the fake smile. It's a pleasure to meet you Edward-san, Alphonse-san." She bowed politely to them.

"Oh.... I remember now!" He said with a fake smile. He had had no clue as all what an alchemist was or did till Sakura told him.

Ninja? Seriously? Like those weird guys they met from Xing? Although...Naruto's description of their job sounded less exciting than that. And the guy didn't even know what an alchemist was? Ed glaced at Sakura when she spoke, glad to finally have someone who understood. "Great, but I've got a couple questions. One, what the heck is 'joot-sue' and who is that Orochi-guy?"Alphonse gave a smile that bordered on tired "Excuse brother, he has no manners." He ignored the glare from his sibling "We're pleased to meet you all."

"No worries. And Jutsu is the use of chakra, handseals, and words to attack or defend. You can create genjutsu, which is illusions, then there's ninjutsu, which uses attacks, healing, and defence." Sakura went through all the handseals, naming them so the brothes could see and learn them. "Also, with the use of chakra, you can walk on walls, water, and whatever has a rough enough surface to climb on. For instance." Sakura summoned chakra to her feet and walked towards the wall. She set one foot on the wall and began walking up until she was hanging upsidedown from the ceiling, holding her shirt in place so it wouldn't show any...personal parts.

Tsunade nodded to him to achnowlage his presence. "Jiraiya... They are the Elric brothers, both alchemists. The short one is Edward. The taller one is Alphonse."
