Gwen smiled slightly, glad she was alright. "You did fairly well, I think. Better than I could probably do." She stood up and slid around in a little circle. "If you try again, please do not hurt yourself."
Castiel skidded to a stop and immediately staretd back toward them. "That looked fun with a running start. I want to try that next!" he exclaimed as he finally made it over to them.

"Aww, don't put yourself down Gwen. You can do almost anything you put your mind to," Yukino responded. She wasn't sure why Gwen didn't think she could do it. Perhaps it was because she was interested in more quiet activities? She turned toward Castiel and thought to herself that the two of them could learn from one another if they tried. Castiel could learn to appreciate the more calm things in life, and Gwen could get a thrill from more exciting endeavors. Smiling, she said, "Ooh, you should try it now! It was really fun!"

Gwen tilted her head at Yukino's words, wondering if she should bother trying. She decided not to try jumping right now. She didn't want to draw attention to herself.
Castiel nodded. "Alright then. I will!" He started charging a ways from them, glancing back once to be sure they were watching. He waited until he was going as fast he could across the slick ice, then he jumped into the air, flapping his wings as he did so. He landed easily with help from the flapping, but slid quite a ways farther. "Whoa!"
"Are you going to try again, then?" Gwen asked Yukino after Castiel had landed. She tilted her head at Yukino.

"Good jump, Castiel!" Yukino cheered. She wondered how much those wings helped, even though it was impossible to get any herself. Looking over at Gwen she nodded. "Of course! I'm not gonna give up until I can land on the ice without slipping." She smiled and wondered if Gwen would try after Yukino finally got it. "Well, I'm gonna go try now. Wish me luck!" She stated, skating a bit to get a head start.

Castiel grinned at her praise then watched as she skated off. He waited where he was to see her performance.
"Good luck," Gwen whispered as Yukino started off. She watched intently, hoping Yukino wouldn't be hurt.

Yukino concentrated upon the task at hand. She was to jump into the air and land safely on the ice. She thought it over, deciding on an appropriate strategy. Smiling at her mental practice, she chose to execute it as she imagined. She crouched down low, and pushed directly upward to leap into the air. As her ascent turned into descent, she straightened her legs to land upon the ice. When she finally landed, she instantly crouched down again to lessen the possibility of slipping, and slowly brought herself back up to a standing position. She couldn't do much about the momentum propelling her forward but to wait it out, but eventually she slow down and slid to a stop.

Castiel was now the closest to Yukino, and he immediately charged towards her. "You did it! that was awesome. You should have seen yourself. You don't even need wings!" he exclaimed all at once.
Gwen smiled as she saw Yukino land almost perfectly, and she started toward her. But as soon as Castiel started over, she slowed. She pondered whether or not she should just sit still and wait for them to come to her. While she was still making up her mind, she continued across the ice very slowly.

"Thanks! It was really exhilarating!" Yukino excitedly stated, the adrenaline hyping her up even more than before. She looked over at Gwen to see what she thought, and noticed her skating on the ice. She tilted her head, wondering why her friend hadn't said anything. She also wondered if Gwen wanted to try the jump.

Gwen looked up to see Yukino look at her. "It was a very good jump, Yukino." She put on her best smile and began to speed up her skating, not really sure what she was going to do.
Castiel had sat still for as long as he could stand. He jumped up and began to charge around the ice once again; not at all skating, but merely running as best he could across the ice. "What should we try now? "

"Thanks Gwen!" replied Yukino, glad both her friends liked the jump. She looked at Castiel and said, "We could just skate around for a bit and see how fast we can go." She skating a bit, attempting a figure 8.

Gwen liked the idea of skating around. She smiles slightly as she began to skate around more quickly now, feeling completely at ease.
Castiel nodded. "Sure. I bet I can go the fastest!" he exclaimed. He attempted to mimic Yukino and Gwen in their skating, but only managed to clumsily runs around, sliding pretty much everywhere.

"You're doing really well, Gwen!" Yukino stated as she skated around, being mindful of her balance. She found that the more momentum she had, the easier it was to keep balance, but at the same time faster speeds were harder to control. Looking over at Castiel, she noticed his method was a bit flawed. She skated closer to him, trying to give him hints without fully revealing the trick so he can get it on his own. "Try to get a little more control. Ice is different than dirt, and you'll go faster if you control your moves and work with the ice rather than against it." She smiled, thinking that he might get it now.

Gwen knew better than to try to correct Castiel. All he would do was bite her head off for even mentioning he might be doing it wrong. She wished now she had some way to warn Yukino.
Castiel suddenly stopped moving. He frowned as he looked from Yukino to his own feet then slowly back to her. He ground his teeth together slightly as his expression formed a glare. Then suddenly, his expression lightened. "Oh... yeah, yeah. I can do that," he said with a smile. He then tried to follow Yukino's movements, slowly getting it down better.
Gwen didn't show any expression, but she was almost amazed. He hadn't even yelled a little. If it had been her giving the advice, he would have gotten mad. She wondered if maybe Castiel just didn't like her.

Yukino ignored the glare, figuring that perhaps he was just irritated from getting some tips. After all, some namrah don't like that too much. She made a mental note to keep all advice to a minimum, then said with a bright, "There you go! Now you're doing great!"

Castiel grinned more, glad Yukino hadn't noticed or paid attention to his glare. "Thanks! I knew I could do it right." He continued to skate, a little clumsily, but better.
Gwen sighed slightly and moved quicker across the ice, skating much better than her brother. She got up enough speed then leapt into the air a bit, landing softly back on the ice and continuing skating.
