Zii stared down at her white paws as they pushed the sand away from the hole. She felt a bit of remorse at being so white that Mother and Father would be able to see that she had been getting filthy. She dug a bit more ferouciously, her little paws working up all this sand-but it had no where to go. Soon her little rump was almost vertical with her front legs; before she pulled out of her chasim and began to move the sand from the outter rim. "I think I want to be a guard!" She said, standing atop her small hill-her front paws slipping slowly into the hole. "Cause then every lion who dares enter our lands can see me there-guarding our people and they will say-
'what a scary lioness is she! We better not mess with her!-" she puffed out her chest and made her voice as adult as possible, only succeeding in pushing herself right into her hole-front end first. A few angry remarks could be barely heard as she had to maneuver herself around so her head would pop out. "I am so white that-I don't know if i would be good for anything else reallys." She said, looking rather sad at that thought. "Not much use for white lions's"

Azar smiled as her sister said that she wanted to be a gaurd, she knew it was a dangerous job. It wounded interesting for Azar yet at the same time something about it just wasn't for her... Just some part of that she didn't like, not the danger that was for sure, she wanted some of that. She giggled at her sister as she looked up before grinning. "I can't wait for fight along with the others."
She puffed out her chest or a moment before she looked down at the hole about to start digging again until she noticed her sister in the hole. "I have to disagree, I think you can do a lot!" She nipped at her sister's ear then nudged her she flopped down on her haunches as she looked down at the hole and made a small face. "I think that we won't find anything but dirt..." Her voice trailed a little discouraged at the idea. She licked her nose and looke ddown at her paws, not happy to see a lot of the dirt in between her paws but shrugging it off.

Zii knew that it may be a dangerous thing to be a gaurd but it sounded exciting and such... it made her toes tingle. She was looking down into the hole when her sister spoke the obvious; but Zii didn't want to believe her. She dug harder-her little breaths coming in pants now. She heaved and pulled the sand this way and that for a few more moments-before finally looking sadly into the hole. "Aww..."
She sat down and hung her head with narrowed eyes. She sighed, standing up and tossing back her head proudly. "Oh well... I suppose it isn't worth digging anymore then... shall we go find Daddy and Mommy?" She asked, wiggling her dirty toes at her sibling. "My paws are all yucky..." She added with a laugh.

Azar giggled slightly at her sister, leaning closer to her and bumping her head gently against Zii's with a smile growing on her face. "Yes we should." she giggled slightly before standing up and nipping at her sisters ear.
"Mommy won't be happy that are toesies are dirty but we had fun!" She giggled as she bumped into her sister playfully. "Lets go, before it gets dark, daddy said its not good to be around when its dark when were just little." She said witha soft sigh, she hated being told that she couldn't be some where because she was too little or two young...

Zii nodded her agreement, turning and heading back towards where their family was. She knew it was not safe to wander around alone at all since that lioness died... the one she couldn't remember much about. Her little rump bounced along as she went; her head swaying side to side. "Well, soon they won't be able to tell us where we can go!" She said mischievously, sounding a bit like Fia.
She turned one more time to look back at the holes they had dug and sighed. Someday they'd dig holes so big that they could catch a rhino. She swore it.
