Lailah had a familiar thought process, like him. The night always was able to bring her happiness. She turned her head to look at him once more. She was glad to hear that he would like to fly with her one day. And his voice took a tone of interest, this was something even more special to her. This could very well be the start of hopefully a friendship. One day they would be comfortable and be able to dance around and enjoy themselves, and chatter through out the night on a more familiar basis. This was something she hoped for.
"Oh?" She fixed her wings and tried her best to flick her tail out. It was so thick it was hard to move it to far. "I think your two legger has a very good sense of taste. They do fit you very well." She smiled. She wondered what type od meaning they had behind them, but that might be for a later date.
"So since you belong to the two legger... Are there any others in your herd?" She tilted her head at him. "I would love to hear about that, if its not intruding to much."

Toki was very much enjoying her company. He was beginning to hope, maybe one day they'd meet again. He was getting quite comfortable with her. But probably not enough to tell about the real personal stuff. But that was fine. Company at this late hour was something enjoyable to him. He finally went and say across from her. He wings stretched out one last time before they slept to his side.
"He does~" He nodded and smiled at Lailah's first remark.
He enjoyed much of his human's company. Not only that but her way of living. He was so care free and took care of everything as they came along. Living where it was cold all the time, he wondered how she could've survived all this time. But after getting to know her, you'd come to realize how. She also didn't like to keep Soq from their will. She knew when they had a family, and when they were just coming by for a meal. His ears perked as she spoke again. Bringing his attention to her, then back to his thoughts. There wasn't really another in his herd. But there was a stallion that seemed to come around more so then the others. Though, he had a family, so the two legger let him come and go as he pleased. She also didn't pay as much attention as she did with Toki.
"Not really.. But there is a stallion that comes around a lot. My human takes care of him when he's around. But his has a family, and she lets him go as he pleases." Toki paused for a second, thinking of what to say about him. ".. He's a bit oblivious, and out there. But he's not so bad. He also has wings, but doesn't seem to use them very much.." His head tilted in confusion.
He couldn't understand why the stallion didn't use his wings to fly. He seemed to get lost so frequently that, you think he'd use his wings to find his way.. I suppose he was that naive and slow minded he'd forget he had his wings most the time. But none the less, he was quite the character.

Lailah listened to him intently as he talked. "Oh?" She titled her head a little. That was interesting. "I've never met a two legger that did that before." She nodded some, thinking about her herd. "Not that mine, keeps us from family, but we all stay there for the most part, its our home. So even if we have somewhere else to stay, its like staying away from home." But no one her herd but Forte had reached a point of having a family. So it wasn't really an issue since Forte's mate has been away. But one of the foals did go with the father. It was a strange thing she thought. She left hers with the father, who will come when they become foals, so they could meet.
"But that means you get to meet alot of others, yes?" There was a silver lining to it. Or so Lailah thought. He might not like to met many others for all she knew. "meet alot of interesting horses." She found find something like that fascinating.

Toki listened to Lailah, I suppose every two legger was different. Toki's two legger just seemed to bond more with the ones she raises herself. Not that she didn't like Ame's company. He was quite entertaining sometimes. But Toki knew what she was talking about. When he is away from Jaci and her home, he felt like he was away from home too. It is technically his home. However, he and his two-legger were pretty sure he had better places to be. Or, they thought anyways.
Hearing her question, he went into thought. He doesn't really meet a lot of other Soq. Especially where is home was. He lived in the mountains, where it snowed almost all the time. He hadn't met very many Soq there. He also didn't meet very many wondering around either. Sometimes he would go without meeting someone new for months at a time. Though, he had meet a few others, but probably not the number she had in mind.
Looking at her, he smiled a bit nervously. "Well, I actually don't meet that many others. Now a days, it seem rather rare.."

She blinked over at him. "Is that so?" She wondered how such a thing was possible, she herself ran into at least one new horse a day. But she hadn't know he lived in the mountains. That would have explained a lot. "Well thats a shame really. They are all missing out." She nodded a few times and then looked up at the sky. The night had been moving a lot faster then she had thought. It had gotten quite late, but she wasn't tired at all. "Where do you live?" She was curious now, and hoped that question wasn't to forward of her. "I live over by the river that way.." She nodded her behind her. "Theres a field near it, and then a path over the river to go up part of the mountain."
She hopped that her telling him where she lived it would cause him to be a little more open about his location. She did want to know, so that one day she could go and visit him, and see where he lived.

He continued to smile at Leilah. He was pleased someone thought he was company worthy. He never thought he was anything real special. But it's always nice to hear that it was a shame he didn't meet a lot of other Soq, as they were missing out. No one had told him that before. As she brought up the topic of where he lived, looked around for a second, before bringing his attention back to her. He was far from home. As she begin to tell him where she lived, he listened closely. Maybe one day he'd feel the need to visit her. See how she was doing. It was always nice to meet old company again. He thought anyways.
Nodding at her answer, he began to share his. "I live far from here.. I live in the mountains. It's very cold there, and snows almost everyday."
Toki, himself, didn't mind the cold or where he lived. He was practically raised there. So, he became used to the cold weather. But he was sure that was the reason not many went there. He surely wasn't at this destination all the time. But it was a nice place to relax.. To him anyways~

"You live in the mountains? My, that certainly is far from here." She was rather surprised by this fact. The snowy mountains were somewhere that she had never been, not was' to sure if thats where she'd ever go. It could prove to be dangerous for her. She was a bit saddened, that she might not ever get a chance to visit him... Though she was assuming that he'd want to see her again.
To her Toki had something special in him. Weather or not he had seen it. She was convinced that one day he would say, and all the land would listen, his voice would bloom flowers, and end fights. But she was a little strange like that. It was more metaphoric then anything, but she hoped they would find each other again.
As she finished that thought she came to realize that it had gotten quite late. "Oh dear me... It seems I have lost track of time! I shouldn't over stay my welcome with you, and as it gotten rather late, I should work my way home..." She pulled herself to her feet and she glanced over at him. She did indeed hope their paths would run the same course even if just for a while.

He nodded, she seemed rather surprised of his living. But when you can go anywhere in only minutes, sometimes it isn't that hard to believe. But he didn't mind living in a place not many go to. It was good when all he wanted was piece and quiet. Not only that, but less danger seemed to roam around there.. Well, in his eyes. He was sure there was something in the mountains other wouldn't want to come across. However, he hadn't come across them, just yet.
And even if Lailah wouldn't be able to make her way towards the mountains to see him. He was sure he'd one day see her again. Their friendship didn't seem to take long to bloom. Fast friendships like that, should never die. Now, he only wished the best for her. He wished nothing would harm her, on her travels. Not that he'd wish harm upon others. Yet, there was something about her that made him want to see her again. Once there time was over tonight. Though, before he knew it, it was just about to end.
"Be careful.." He mumbled, as he stood up as well.
He stood there and watched her as she made her way home. He knew he couldn't watch her all the way there. But he could at least watch her until she was out of sight. So, when he started to make his own way home, he knew she was alright. And once all he could see was darkness, and not that of her shining pelt. He spread out his wings, and took flight. Only wonder if they ever would meet again~
