"That's what everyone says, but all I'm getting from is now a very, very funky sleep schedule," the teen grumbled stubbornly before laughing. "Ai was getting out through the top, the evil child and she grew before I could think of a solution for it. Thankfully Reid simply seems content to sleep during the day for the most part and then just.. complains loudly when he wants out."
At Rabid's question she pursed her lips, thinking it over before shrugging, "dunno. I'm waiting a bit before changing into mine, speaking of which," shedding her satchel she reached down and shoved it under the table, along with two long staffs she'd strapped lengthwise to her back, leaving the items with Rabid's. "Maybe I should find a walker for Reid too... otherwise I think he's doomed to fall over or trip on his costume, even while crawling."
Reid followd happily but then blinked at the butterfly made her entrance, "ra?" he questioned, giving the insect a curious look.

"That's what they all say," Rabid laughed and watched Chao shove her staffs under the table, "I've got no chance! Gah..."
She shook her head, "The one I gave Ike was the least obtrusive. He'd have to be walking bipedally in his...err..quadripedal costume. Crawling wouldn't work well."
She laughed again as she imagined Ike attempting to crawl around with a new pair of legs strapped to his back.
Malachi peered upward, as if to see what Reid was looking at. He shook his head.
Nisha fluttered down from the sudden movement and landed on the other boy's shoulder. Hey...he had wings too!
"Ooooh," Malachi cooed when he saw Nisha, but then turned his attention back to the table. He tuggled gently on the cloth and a few pieces of candy dropped to the ground.
"Reid!" he called.

Felix walked on in happily singing some halloween songs. Her curly golden brown hair bounced every time she took a step. She walked over to a framiliar face.
"Hey Rabid!! Long time no see eh?" She chuckled. This did feel a little uncomfortable but she knew in no time she would make friends. She turned to look at the company that Rabid had and smiled. Felix didnt know if she would fit in, but it was sure worth a shot.
"How are you and Malachi?"

"Quardripedal eh? Reid'll be happy, another six limbed Mishap to play with," she chuckled at the mental image, "do I dare ask what Malachi's costume actually is?"
"I think Reid could make crawling work, but his robes would get filfy and he'd probably trip constantly, which on one hand would be worth it to watch and photograph..." blackmail material for when he was a teen, now there was a thought.
"Ra?" Reid asked again, tilting his head as the delicate looking creature landed on him.
"'Lo," he greeted the other insect, glowing warmly. As Nisha's wings folded back and forth Reid copied the movement with his own wings for a moment with a light smile, he often forgot the appendages were there at all. Then his attention flit back to Ike as the other Mishap called his name and he gasped at the sight of the candies. The good tasting sound makers! With a grin he quickly crawled towards Ike.

Rabid counted on her fingers, "Yuh, six. He's going to be a freakin' hand-sewn centuar." She glanced down at her hands and cracked her knuckles. She really needed a damned sewing machine.
She then noticed the girl from the fabric store. Ah...so she'd found the HQ.
"Hi, Felix," she tried to give a friendly smile, "This is Chao. Chao? Felix."
She gave Chao a sort of sideways 'I-don't-know-her-either' look.
Nisha clung to Reid's shoulder for dear life, her wings stretched out as far as they'd go. What a bumpy ride, these little ones...
Malachi giggled and scooped up the candies. There were...were...well, enough to give both himself and Reid an equal amount. He held a few out while expertly unwrapping his own with his free hand.

"That sounds so adorable I can't even put it to words..." Chao said with a grin and giggle at the mental image, "I can't wait to see him! We need to find a camera," she stated firmly, looking around and finally sighting Felix.
"Oh! It's very nice to meet you Felix," she replied with a light smile, catching Rabid's look out of the corner of her eye and quirking an eyebrow.
Reid grinned and "ooo"d softly over the find, taking his in his hands, using two of the appendages to hold the candies and the other to begin to unwrap them. Glancing to Nisha he placed one of the candies on his shoulder in front of her, just incase she wanted one as well, before popping one into his mouth and squishing it's wrapper firmly, glow intensifying as it gave a satisfying crackle.

Felix nodded and smiled "Same to you too Chao"
Something was missing here, she felt like she didnt belong. 'Hmm'She thought. She tried to think of something to say.
"erm..heh i hope to get a Mishap soon, You see, after Rabid told me about them i had to know more. And so now i know and i must get a companion." She smiled, hoping she would start a conversation with intrest.

"Thank you, I have a camera at home," Rabid laughed, "Yay for blackmail!"
She then turned to Felix, "More of a child than a companion. A very expensive child." Rabid reflected back on her months of shop and HQ visits before accidentally creating Malachi herself.
She still wasn't quite sure what to think of the girl.
Malachi huffed at the sight of Felix, but quickly turned his attention back to Reid. He shoved his candies in his mouth and balled the wrappers up, smashing them together.
Nisha curiously unfurled her tongue and licked the candy. It was quite pleasant, but not quite as good as nectar. She would have shrugged it off, had butterflies been gifted with shoulders, before licking the candy again.
Rabid's head snapped toward the little boys at the sound of the wrapper crinkle.
"Oh, God, no..."

"Definately a child," Chao murmurmed with a nod, tilting her lips, she'd never heard the Mishap's called 'companions' before. As the crinkling reached her ears she froze up, feeling a shiver crawl up her spine, "oh no... Morbid, tell me that's not what I think it is."
Reid didn't even look towards the newly arrived woman, instead he continued to unwrap the candies with two hands and began to swish a small collection of wrappers with the others. There were the sounds! He giggled happily.

"Oh gosh no i dont think of them as pets or anything. I mean companions as in someone to keep my company and that i can care for. Heh" Felix laughed but looked discouraged. She didnt think they liked her very much.
She looked down and Malachi and smiled. She kneeled to his level to get a better look of his cute face. She, suprisingly, didnt see the other Mishap. She got back up and tried to make another conversation. "Heh. So, What is yalls intrests?"

"Children," Rabid corrected a final time before shuddering and murmuring "y'all" under her breath. Being southern, she had been raised to hate that phrase. Nobody in her family had ever used it...not that they generally did back home...
She forced a smile and said, "Horror. Movies, books, whatever you got. Nature. Blood too, of course."
She'd stopped being afraid of offending someone. She was beginning to dislike Felix.
"It is," she pretended to start crying, head in hands, after turning toward Chao.
Nisha, realizing Master's tears, fluttered over and landed on her hand. Too bad she couldn't carry the sugary thing.
Malachi giggled and began alternating the sounds and speeds of his wrapper-crushing. Oh, there it was again! If only there were more things to make sounds with...

"And that my friend if why're you're now called morbid," Chao concluded with a light smile and a glance Rabid's way.
"Oh you know, reading, nature, movies, mechanics, ect ect." she replied with a shrug, before freezing up at Rabid confirmed the worse.
"We're doomed aren't we?" she finally looked over towards the Mishaps and threw a arm over Rabid's shoulders, patting her reasurringly, "don't worry, we'll escape! There's plenty of islands out there that they'd never find us at!"
Reid giggled and looked about, "ra?" he asked, glancing at Malachi and ceasing his wrapper-crunching. There was a lot of stuff here maybe they could find more stuff to make sounds with? "Go?" he asked, glad the familar word was so simple, he gestured towards the rest of the room then to Ike and himself, trying to ask if Ike wanted to explore.

also i kinda feel...out of place here without a mishap and all x.x))
Felix smiled slightly and realized she wasent being accepted.
She played it cool anyways since she had nothing better to do at home. " I love to swim, read, spend most of my time outdoors, watch movies and hang out with my best friends..er well i used to anyways. I moved away from them. Im new here if you didnt already figure.. heh" She fidgeted with her fingers and looked to the floor. She raised her head and smiled.
