Adhara nodded, biting at one of her lips with slightly pointed incisors, making sure to maintain her focus as well as the pace of her wings, which were already getting rather tired from holding her up in the air. Taking the advise, if only for a moment, she sped up the movement of her wings, pulling them in slightly when she pulled them back up, so that they didn't catch the air and send her back down. Smiling happily, she flew over to Rachel once again, taking hold of his shoulders to stretch her wings out behind her and then fold them against her back for a moment, panting softly. "This'll be something to get used to, huh?" she asked with a soft laugh, though it was more rhetorical than anything else.

The man smiled and nodded, holding Adhi up so she could rest. "Yes, since your wings aren't at all used to lifting your weight you'll have to work very hard and practice a lot to get them to be comfortable with that." he explained with a warm smile, "But you're doing very well."

Adhara laughed softly, a difficult thing to do with her unsteady breaking, before she stretched out her wings at her teacher's instruction, flapping them slowly, before picking up the pace and slipping from the man's grasp, wings pumping fast enough that she wasn't jerking up and down nearly as much as she had been.
She glanced over at Rachel curiously, making sure to focus on the movement of her wings. "Anything else I should be learning before you teach me how to land?"

"Well, apart from maybe learning to maneuver in the air, you've got the basics down. Though some stuff may be a bit too complicated for you at this level and I wouldn't recommend trying it till you're more advanced. You can practice flying forward a ways and back to me though." the man explained, the last bit a suggestion for her last bit of practicing before they went to land.

She blinked a bit at her teacher's suggested and nodded a couple times, taking a deep breath to steady herself before she flapped her wings harder, raising herself higher into the air. This was surprisingly easy with how well she could feel the movement in her wings, which she didn't expect she would be able to do for whatever reason.
Not getting too much higher, she shifted herself slightly, tilting herself, as well as her wings, forward a bit, surprising herself with how quickly she started diving, and she abruptly jerked herself back into a more upright position, flapping her wings once again and returning to Rachel, where she took hold of his shoulders once again, smiling a bit. "Sorry; just that last bit freaked me out and I think I started flapping harder than I really needed to."

"Possibly, yes." The man agreed with a reassuring smile. "Don't take on too much at once, we can stay up here till you're comfortable with things or I think you need a rest."

Adhara chuckled softly. "Actually, I'm starting to think I might want to work on this at a later date. It's getting rather difficult to stay up here, this being my first time flying and all," she noted with a slight smile, still beating her wings, though her rhythm was falling off slightly, as well as the speed in which she was able to move the strange ligaments.

Rachel nodded. "All right, I'll show you how to land then." He carefully held the girl as he showed her the position she was to take while landing. The slowing down of her speed, the way she tucked her body so she didn't crash face first into the ground (like some of his less bright pupils) and such so the girl was ready to take herself down out of the air softly.
"If you start getting too tired for all of that on the way down, just switch to gliding. You can practice landing at another time if you have to, since you know what to do now." the man assured her gently, "Now go ahead, I'll let you go when you're ready."

Adhara kept herself aloft as she watched her teacher land on the ground, nodding a few times when she felt it was needed. When the other finally landed, she followed his path almost exactly, finally touching down and smiling brightly, pulling her wings in once more and glancing up at Rachel. "Thanks for the lesson. It was really good to see you again, too," she said happily, taking a step forward to hug the other around the waist. "I'll see you for my next lesson, right?"
