Once more, the elder Eevee was smacked back, and this time the point of impact was in the face. Landing on the ground a few feet away, Kryptonite was barely able to continue battling. "...vee..." the Pokemon squeaked out quietly.

"Oh no! That doesn't sound good!" LizDuck racked her brain a bit. What could she do to possibly slow this opponent down?

"Ummm, try Yawn one more time!" she shouted out. At her feet, the younger of the Eevees frowned. His big brother wasn't going to win, was he?

Kryptonite didn't even bother to get up. Instead, he opened up his mouth and yawned. Maybe this time the Teddiursa would fall asleep and leave him alone?

Kryptonite smiled a bit. At least it had worked.

Obviously, LizDuck hadn't heard the fact that the Teddiursa had woken itself up. All she had heard were lots of yawns. "Good, now go and give it a big Bite!"

Kryptonite didn't even want to get up. However, he finally was able to see something close to him. It was wiggling around a bit. Whatever it was, that was what he aimed his attack at. He didn't even realize it was the Teddiursa's tail.

Despite getting knocked on the head and passing out, Kryptonite strangely was still firmly attached to the Teddiursa's tail with his teeth.

LizDuck's only signal that her Pokemon had fainted was that at her feet, Midnight started to whimper out a bit.

"...Kryptonite?" she asked loud enough for the others to hear. And there was no response. Picking up the elder Eevee's pokeball up from her apron, she called out "Return!" The red beam shined out and seemed to get swallowed up by the darkness. However, the Pokemon disappeared from the field. The idol held the ball in front of her and uttered "You deserve a good rest.

LizDuck then kneeled down and patted the younger Eevee on the head. "We have tough opponents this time it seems. Do your best!"

Midnight nodded his head after a small sniffle before cautiously making his way onto the field. He could see why his brother had a difficult time in his battle. How could anybody see a thing out here?

((I checked in several battles prior, and they rolled to see who attacked first after a change due to a fainted Pokemon.))

He had barely made his way onto the field, and stuff was already being thrown at the Eevee.

"Eevee!" he cried out in surprise more than anything. He was far enough away to not get hit by the rock, and now he even knew what direction to go. Maybe it was his lucky day?

LizDuck hadn't really used this Eevee in battle before, so she had to try and remember what moves he knew. "Okay, umm... oh that's right, get in close if you can and use Iron Tail!"

The silvery Pokemon ran as fast as he could in the direction of the other Pokemon, and when he thought he was close enough, his tail started to glow slightly, providing a bit of light for both of the Pokemon, before swinging the tail at the Teddiursa.

The Eevee smiled a bit as he hit the other Pokemon, but then the smile was wiped off his face as he received a blow to the chest from another rock. However, when he landed, it was on his feet.

"Eevee vee eve!" he almost seemed to taunt as he waited for the next command.

From where she was listening, whatever had happened sounded like it worked out well enough. Taking this as a good sign, she called out "Iron tail one more time!"

More than eager to do such, his tail started to glow once more as he swiped his tail in the other Pokemon's direction.

The Eevee blinked as a Pokemon was switched out and a much bigger one took the blow from his tail. It in fact seemed a bit intimidating for his first official battle.

The idol also heard the switch, and she debated using one of the moves that made the difference between the twins. Kryptonite didn't know this move yet, but Midnight picked up easily on it. LizDuck nodded her head.

"Why not?" she murmured before giving the command "Toxic!"

Once more the Eevee's eyes widened. He knew the move, certainly, but he wasn't all that good with the technique yet. Either way, he took in a deep breath, then blew out a dark cloud towards the new opponent.

LizDuck winced as she heard the command. That was one of those really powerful attacks, wasn't it?

And the next thing to wince was Midnight as he got clocked in the head with the attack. Ouch! Even if the attack hurt, he spat to the side and got ready for the next command. Obviously his technique had not worked. Hopefully his trainer wasn't dead-set upon it working.

"If you can manage it, try a Quick Attack!" the girl called out.

That was a simple enough move. Thumping the ground with a paw, he hoped he'd distract the other Pokemon into thinking he was in that direction. After the thump, he then ran swiftly towards the direction he'd last been hit in.
