She smiled, glad that she hadn't been a bother it seemed. "It's very kind of you, but please save the rest for later. I've already eaten also." The night was dark, but clear. There was a little glow of light around them from her flames.
"It's a nice night out tonight," she said, following his gaze to the moon.

Ekwueme nodded as he looked up at the moon. "It is." He glanced back down at her, having not noticed before how her flames seemed to touch the snow but not melt it. It looked very pretty. "It's the perfect night for a walk, don't you think?"

She smiled and met his gaze. "Yes, it is! In fact, that's what I had been doing. I like to go on walks at night." She hesitated and then asked him, "Would you like to join me tonight?"

"Sure" He said said, his eyes meeting hers for a few long moments before he pulled them away. He stood up and walked over towards her, slowing down as he neared her.

She smiled and held his gaze for a moment. She wondered what he could see behind her fiery eyes. As he neared her, she began to walk in the direction she wanted to walk, slowly at first, so that he would follow beside her.
"Do you like to run?" She asked him. "You look like someone who would be a fast runner."

Ekwueme casually neared and followed her, this being the first company he'd had in a long time. He nodded. "Yes, i do enjoy it on occasion. You have to be able to run in order to catch food. You look like you would be a fast runner as well."

She smiled and nodded her head. "Yes, I love to run. I guess being able to run fast is in my genes." She looked around at the open stretch of snowy field. "We can run for a bit if you want, or just walk. I'm really fine with either." ^^

"I believe that is in my genes as well." He followed her gaze and looked up at the white stretch in front of them. "I have no preference, have you one? If not, I have another way to pick between the two."

Part of her wanted to run, but really...she couldn't decide. That, and she was curious to know what his other way of deciding was. She tilted her head to the side as they walked on and asked him, "What is your way?"

Ekwueme sighed. Drat, he hadn't thought it would come down to this. He took a breath before looking at Renesemee. "That was a bluff. I have no other way to decide other than our personal preference. And since we have not a preference for either, I have not a way to pick."

"Oh," she said, a bit confused, but chuckled a little. "Well why don't we run for a little while, and then walk? We can do both," she suggested, smiling.

"That sounds like a splended idea," Ekwueme agreed. He started off in a little jog, waiting to see how fast she would want to go. He looked back at her.

She caught up to him quickly, as he was only jogging. She felt excitement and energy run through her as she ran and she tilted her head sideways to grin at him. She picked up the pace, expecting him to follow. She wondered how fast the two of them could get and still stay side by side. Then she wondered which was the fastest. She wasn't competitive, but she wondered.

Ekwueme returned her grin with one of his own, and chuckled to himself as she went off ahead. He was quick to speed up and pass her, and looked back at Renesmee with a slightly competitive gleam in his eye. He wouldn't be at full strength due to the famine called winter, but he could still show her a good time.

She saw the look in his eyes and quickly sped up, prepared to run full speed. Her feet were moving fast beneath her, leaving soft tracks behind and kicking up snow, and it felt great to be moving along at such speed. She was right beside Ekwueme now and smiled playfully at him.
