"I'm Karana"Mzaana, but you can still call me wings if you'd like, Bolt," she said with a smile and a wink. She figured it might be nice to have someone with a nickname, a friend who she could laugh and smile with, perhaps, at least she hoped, she would meet Bolt again on a future occasion. "You can be clever, I know you can, no doubt in my min," she said firmly, confidence in the tone of their voice.
Mzaa stood then, and held in the wince that her leg wanted her to reveal, but she wouldn't let it, "I should start scouting for prey for a meal to bring to the center of the pride tonight," standing, she shook her head getting the sand from her fur, "It was a pleasure meeting you Bolt, I hope to see you again soon," she nuzzled the top of his head with her own and headed off towards an area where she had seen some stray prey earlier in the day, she hoped Bolt would have fun with his poetry.
Who said warriors couldn't like poetry anyway?

"You'll always be Wings to me, pet." Jua told her with a large grin that cracked across his face. He had liked her quite a bit. She was... inspiring, so to speak. "And you can bet that I'll be clever... I'll be the most clever lion you've ever met!" That much was unlikely... but he supposed that it was the thought that counted, right?
He nodded to her as she left, "Thanks for teaching me! I'll see you at dinner!" And now he had something to do for the rest of the day. He would work on poetry... and finding something to be poetic about. And that was all that he needed now.
Maybe, really, the best warriors liked poetry.
