Vic just continued to grin, "It's a pleasure! Really it is! I never thought tracking down Eclave'eth would turn out to be such a good thing!" He exclaimed happily, dropping one hand from Divintra's shoulders, sliding the other across so that he had his whole arm draped over them.
"Sure she's a dragon! You know, they actually come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I guess you should technically call her a dragonnette.. She's a stokeless little creature, supposedly, but she can puff out a surprising amount of smoke when she gets all worked up." He helpfully informed his new friend as he felt the aforementioned critter shift around on his shoulders.

She gave Divintra a very intense little stare as she puffed herself up and thew her wings out, giving them a shake as if to try and make herself look more imposing, perhaps bigger, but no matter what she did, it would be very VERY difficult to achieve that.
"C'mon.." He gave Divintra a little nudge to encourage him to follow on as he started to walk, arm still slung around him rather casually, biting his tongue to stop the comment that threatened to fall from his mouth about the rather evident blush on the young drows pale features. He had to bite even harder to try and attempt to stop the.. What the hell..
"Oh.. Comfortable..?" He drawled, hoping that is was at least partially obvious that he was half messing with the kid, "Well.. Could always settle yeh down over at my place.. I'd love to have you for the night. After a nice romantic dinner and all.." He chuckled just a little, flicking an eye to Mavis as she ever so slowly crept down his arm.. She'd spotted the silver chain connecting the two silver pear-pieces through the albino's ear, evidently.

"I can honestly admitt that I am glad you decided to. I'm sort of afraid to wonder where that thing would have ended up with me...just because you say it would not eat me does not mean it wouldn't stumble upon other things that wouldn't."

Divintra shook his head, partly to clear it of the imagined horrors, and partly to focus more on Vic. He honestly could also say he'd never met a male quite as...friendly? The arm across his shoulders was odd, seeing as how he had never quite gotten...chummy...with anyone before.

With the assurances, and bit of a biological lesson coming from Vic, Divintra gave Mavis a rather appreciative studying gaze. "She is a bit impressive without the smoke. Very sleek. I don't know of many creatures that can look as pretty as that. A dragonette.... Huh... I have a weird creature of my own. Her name is Lin...but she's been hiding since we came into the city.I got into a bit of a disagreement with her." Divintra's lips twisted upwards faintly as he glanced down at his messenger bag. He didn't blame the mist creation for hiding throught his entier kidnapping ordeal. It wasn't as if she could have helped and she might have ended up being distanced from him too much if she hadn't stayed in the bag.

Divintra moved easily enough under the guiding nudge of Vic. Honestly...he shoud have been a bit more resistant...but with a shared knowledge of whom the other worshiped Divintra felt a bit more trusting then he normally was. He did not miss the subtle strains on particular words the other used. It gave him a faint idea as to why Vic seemed so friendly...Divintra didn't want to put the other off though by shying away from him..so instead he choose to speak in the simple contest and hope that Vic picked up his disinterest by the manner he avoided speaking back flirtingly.

"I'd actually appreciate it if you did take me back to your place. I'd like to talk to you a bit more freely and I doubt we could do that in the city anywhere. Ah..and dinner would also be appreciated too, I'd pay you for it though..." He'....best just ignore the romantic mentioning...

Vic didn;t even bother to try and hide the curious look at the mention of a weird creature.. Creatures of all kinds, shapes, sizes, colours, realms were all of a particular interest to him. Even minute little bugs!
Indeed it was even enough to push the thoughts of a romantic, candle-lit dinner and the bed-room romp that would follow out of his head.
He tightened the arm that he had around Div's shoulders, "Indeed we can talk in safety later.. I don;t live too far really.. I prefer not to live in the center of the cities.. Makes an escape far too difficult if I need to flee for any reason.. Just have a small place on the outskirts of the West-Dark.. Now.. It's not that far but.." His eye travelled down to the pack Divintra had mentioned.. "This.. Lin..?" He queried, a hopeful little look on his face, his eye flicking back up to his pale companions face to give him what he hoped was a winsome little grin.

Mavis had other ideas entirely apparently. She's seen the look on her masters face and decided to monopolise on his distraction by slithering her way further down his arm to very gently poke her snout against the silvery piercing through Divintras ear and the chain held on it.

Divintra managed a weak smile as he felt the arm tightening about his shoulders. Inwardly he wanted to shake Vic off. It was not something he was familar with, this closeness. It felt a little too much like being trapped and led off to some sort of ill fate. Though Divintra knew in his head this was not the case. It couldn't be. Well...He supposed blindly trusting someone because they said they followed the same god was foolish. He could still be planning something bad reguardless. But why bother saving him from the drider? Besides...Divintra had a great many questions he wanted to ask and well...the thought of a free meal was rather tempting.

"I think I sort of understand. I spend a lot of my time traveling now. It wasn't always this way though. I have a...ah...well... I guess you could call it a home. It's more like a pile of rubble really. But it suits for shelter and hiding when I need to use use. Either way, I understand not wanting to get stuck inside the city."

Vic's interest in Lin was...amuseing. Divintra found his lips quirking upwards into a more freely worn smile as he noticed the interested gaze directed towards his bag. Divintra placed one hand on the flap and peered down at the bag.

"I can see if I can coax her out. Like I said, we had a disagreement and she's every bit of a female reguardless of her shape." Divintra pushed the flap open and pried the bag open a few extra inchs.

"Lin. I want you to come out." He spoke into the bag.

Nothing came forth. Verbal or visual, and Divintra frowned.

"Yes..yes I know...But I...Oh come on Lin! It was..." He paused in his broken speech to look up at Vic. His shoulders shrugging slightly as he addressed the drow leading him on.

"She's still pretty mad." He explained, then turned to look down at the bag again.

"Fine Lin. I'm sorry. What if I promise... what? No I'm not going to do that! Listen. I promise next time to go to bed earlier. Okay? Will you stop yelling at me now and come out?" Divintra waited for a few moments for a answer, then he nodded his head. Still, no sounds had issued from within the bag.

This time though something did appear. Drifting upwards in the air, a creature made purely of mist hovered in the opening of the bag. Her form was primarily that of a drow females. Wild misty curls waved about her frame like hair. A pair of rodent like ears topped her head, and a slender mouse like tail twitched behind her though, and a pair of what seemed to be feathered wings slowly flexed on her shoulders. She had her arms crossed over her bare but undetailed chest, and she seemed to fix Divintra with her glare.

"Vic, this here is Lin. She's a...uh...well I guess she's a Mistform or something. I'm not too sure." Divintra tilted his head a little to indicate Lin. It was in this motion that he felt the slight nudge on his ear. Lifting his eyes, he inhaled a little, and his pale white ears actually twitched.

"Gah! Uh...hello...Mavis...."

Vic gave Div a friendly sort of laugh, "Oh no, I can understan' perfectly. You can't force a creature to do your bidding if you want to do it right an' stay friends!"
He did tilt his head curiously however at the somewhat amusing show of a one sided conversation his pale little friend was having with his pack.
Did he look that peculiar when he was talking to Mavis? When he was attempting to coax her out of a tight little space she had adopted and hidden something important of his in? In fairness, he looked a crazy sort of individual to start off with, so maybe onlookers expected him to talk to himself as well.
He chuckled all the more at that thought, then.. Drifted back to a sort of awed silence as this.. Lin.. Seemed to materialise before him.

"Well well.." He was at once snapped from his flirtatious ways. Creatures and familiars were at the peak of his interests, "I can't say that I have ever come across something like you before, Miss Lin!" He practically purred casting his one sharp eye over her curiously.
"May I..?" He spared a glance to Divintra as he extended the back of his hand to the mist-form, halting their walk out of the tunnels for a moment.
"She's like nothing I have ever seen before!" He commented, sounding very impressed, "If I may ask where did you find her, or did you craft her like this?" He could think of a million and one other questions he wanted to ask about this Lin. His awed expression should have shown just how fascinated he was.
"And what a beautiful creature you are too, Miss Lin! Do you only speak to your companion here?" He queried with a friendly tone to the form,
"Sorry, Divintra.. I'll try to resist bombarding you with questions!" He grinned, a little apologetically at having his attention snapped up so easily.

Mavis however was more than a little pleased as the continued lapse in her tall masters attention, continuing to chew gently at the silver chain.. That was until ear it was attached to had twitched and moved away from her as the pale drows head had turned to look at her. She gave an involuntary little growl as her prize had seemed to move away but had fallen still when she had noticed a purple eye giving her a perplexed look. Her red eyes had widened as she realised she had been caught.. But she hung on none the less. The staring match was about to begin.

"Mavis.." Vic warned, his attnetion eventually drawn back to his shoulder, or rather, Divintras shoulder. "We have had these talks about peoples property before.." He tried his best to not sound amused.
"My apologies, Divintra. Not only have I slowed our walk to comfortable accommodation, but my pet appears to be trying to steal as well. Mus' not be making such a great impression here!" He joked happily, though he did have a sorry pang to his voice as he reached up and pried the dragonette's jaw open to release the chain.. And inadvertently give Divintra a rather up close and personal view of the razor sharp little teeth Mavis' mouth housed.

At least he understood to a degree the position he was in when dealing with Lin. Though Divintra's attention was more caught up by Mavis at the point. Having a small dragoness chewing onto something that was currently attached to his ear gave him slight chills. If she had held on a bit more firmly, there would have been a unpleasent pain when he tilted his head up to look at her. He supposed he was lucky then eh?

"Neh? oh..uh.." Divintra's purple eyes snapped down when Vic asked for permission to handle Lin. "Well, if it's okay with her..."

Which, it seemed that she was deciding. The frowning little female looked at the offered hand towards her. She seemed to consider it, the frown melting away to be replaced with a mildly appeased expression. She rather liked the compliment it seemed. With a flick of her wings, she ghosted herself over to the back of Vic's hand, and made a show of gracefully descending into a lounging position.

Divintra formed a faint smile following the bombardment of questions concerning his little companion. "No no...I don't mind." Divintra responded as he dug a hand into one of his pockets. Since they had halted for a moment he decided to take advantage of it.

"She was a gift from a mage I came across. I wish I could say that I had earned her, but thats pretty far from the truth. The mage actually saved my life. I had been accosted by bandits after one of my deliveries. She had contol over the mist you see, she could make it do whatever she wanted."

Divintra paused and pulled his hand from his pocket. Opening it he peered at a small collection of coins within. "Valin, thats the mages name. She wanted to test something with me. She sort of detached one of her mists and sort of...well...she tried to will it to follow me I think. I'm sorry I don't know exactly what she did. It was definatly magic though. She had me focus on a form and the mist was supposed to take on that form."

Selecting a small silver coin from his palm, Divintra pocketed the rest of his money. Just as Vic seemed caught up in examining Lin, Divintra had his own interest in Mavis. Primarily, convincing her not to snack on things attached to his flesh. Pinching the coin between his fingers, he slowly lifted and offered it towards the small dragoness. The flash of those sharp teeth were still pretty fresh in his mind.

"Here Mavis...if I give you this, you leave my earrings alone, okay?" He coaxed the dragoness. *his head tilted a little towards Lin though, and he spoke, in lui of the mist form.

"Lin says to tell you that only I can hear her because...uhhm..we're soul bound? I'm not sure what that means...in fact I'm not even sure she knows what that means. Sometimes I get the feeling she tries to come off as more intelligent then she really is just to get her way."

Vic gave the pale little male an apologetic little look and rolled his shoulders in a shrug, "Dragons will be dragons I guess! Sorry none the less!"
His attention was all too soon drawn back to the misty creature that seemed to be considering his question. He tried his best to repress the tremble of excitement, he'd never come across a creature like this before, and as Lin alighted on his hand he rose from his stooped position and lifter her gently until she was eye level with him and grinned,
"Indeed, Miss Lin, you are quite an exquisite little creature! One of a kind, I would say!" He flattered her easily as he turned his hand this way and that taking great care not to tip her off as he looked closely.

"A gift..?" he mused, tearing his eyes away from the mists form to look down at Divintra once more, cracking a bit of a grin as he saw the youngster trying to bribe the dragonette away from the silvers in his ear, "You're very lucky to have a creature as rare and as beautiful as Miss Lin, here! I could list a fair few people who would be green with envy that you got to take part in that 'experiment' of sorts!" He slowly lowered his hand once more, to allow Lin back to her master,
"No offense meant, Miss Lin, but you had best get back to Divintra.. We should get going really, but you are more than welcome to explore my home when we reach it!" he offered as he placed his other hand to Divintras back once more to start them moving, "Sorry for causing so much of a delay, cutie!" He teased, the same grin on his face once more.

Mavis seemed a little more appeased when the coin appeared, and she relented her quiet snarls of displeasure at being man-handled by her master in front of this stranger.. Until the coin appeared. She looked at it very, very closely, tilting her head this way and that. She was unsure as to whether she should take it at first.. It was not pure gold after all.. That was what she liked the best.. And it smelled as if it had been mixed with other metals to make it go further. She pondered this a moment longer before she finally took a firm hold of it between her sharp teeth. A little gold was better than no gold!

"No need to appologize Vic" Divintra softly replied while he watched Mavis considering the coin. He was relieved when it was that she did accept it. Perhaps if she was busy worrying at her new coin she'd leave him alone for the next few hours. Divintra could only imagin how distracting the decorations in his ears could be to a small dragoness.

Vic's admiarion of Lin brought a genuinely happy smile to Divintra's face. The little mistform creature even seemed to be happy at the moment as well. "I am glad you think so Vic. I really am fond of her. She gives me conversation and since she doesn't need sleep she is a good look out. Though..I'm afraid half the time I sleep through her attempts to wake me up." Divintra's eyes slid down to where the mist form was moving herself off Vic's hand and slipping back into his bag so they could speed up in walking.

"Most of the time she's just trying to mother me so I tune her out. She tries to get me up early to eat breakfast and half the time she's nagging me about lessons I should be attending. I've tried to explain to her that only noble children have tutors and things like that but she won't listen"

Divintra shrugged his shoulders lightly, careful not to give Vic the feeling he was trying to edge that arm off of him. It was quite the opposite really. Even though the other kept refering to him by cute little terms..Divintra found the arm very comfortable on his shoulders and his pale cheeks tinged with a pink hue.

"It's not a delay at all Vic. I'm really enjoying talking with you. I don't think Lin will wander too far though. I don't think she can get too far away from me, but we'll both be very happy to spend the night at your home."

The older drow chuckled warmly at hearing of Lin's mothering tendencies and reached up to touch gingerly at one of his own ears, "Hmm.. Yes, it's funny that some creatures tend to really take to trying to look after your well-being, isn't it?" He rumbled bemusedly, "Be thankful that the wonderful Miss Lin does not share Mavis' sharp teeth! I tell you, that impish young dragon does not enjoy being ignored, Divintra.." He cast a wary eye to the dark purple dragon in question as she took advantage of the placement of Vic's arm and scuttled her way back up to her loftier perch on his shoulders, her tail curled loosely around his neck, following along-side the long white braid of hair that also hung there.

"And on that note, I'm not sure that you're missing out much on the lessons!" He laughed warmly, giving the smaller males shoulders a friendly squeeze as he steered them around a few rock formations in the tunnel, "Horribly stuffy and boring! What you really want to be doing is going out and teaching yourself practically, huh? It sounds bad, but if you want to learn how to defend yourself, pick up a sword and go and find something hostile. It's a pretty good way of learning if you;re good at it.. Though I have to give credit to more knowledgeable drow.. There is, I suppose, some merit to learning technique.." He tugged on his goatee thoughtfully as he discovered himself to have undermined his own argument.. Bothersome, but the moment passed fairly quickly for him, "Of course, a horrible renegade heretic, like myself, probably isn't the best person to be taking advice from in the first place!" He proclaimed cheerfully, turning them down a narrow entrance which led to a slightly larger tunnel once passed, one that could be easily missed in a hurry.

"Nearly there." He informed his young companion with a one eyed grin, "But I don't want you gettin' too excited. It's only a small place, a living space, a place to sleep and an animal pen. It's really not the high life, but it's sort of home!" He mused cheerfully, happy in hind-sight that he had left his riding lizard at his more permanent home..
"Hopefully you won't find it too offensive! I'd give you a wink but I guess it wouldn't look too much different to a blink." He chuckled, waving a hand towards a narrow, roughly cut stair-way. The steps were deep to accommodate the longer gait of a large riding lizard, and the flight was short, to ensure the quarters were kept well away from any water that could pass through, as well as help deter some cave-dwelling creatures.

Mavis puffed up all the more as she spotted their home for the night and happily scrambled around on Vic's shoulder for a moment until her forelimbs were resting up on his head, the coin still between her teeth. With a bit more of a wiggle she climbed right the way up until she was crouched up on his head entirely, her master giving a bit of a wince at the claws digging into his scalp.

"Someone's eager to ensure the safety of he horde.." He muttered.

"I have wondered a bit about it actually." Divintra would respond after he took a moment to ensure that Lin was more contently nestled into his shoulder bag. "It seems odd to me that a creature so different from myself would be so... I don't know..interested in my personal wellbeing. Not even my mother was as bossy and snippish as Lin is. Sometimes I wonder if her interest in me is derived more from the fact that she is linked to me. So my wellbeing immediatly affects her own. But if I bring that up I get a head full of scolding."

Divintra paused in his words, though not in his steps. It amused him to hear the older male brushing off book learning and lessons so easily. Divintra's mother had always told him that knowledge was the greatest asset a drow like them could have. He remembered the mornings they would spend together, she rubbing soot into his skin as she talked about the many things she herself had learned over the years. passing on that fundamental knowledge, though never quite telling him where she had learned it all herself. Still... Divintra did not mind the small squeeze he recieved as he was led on. Perhaps some of his earlier prayer was still in effect, for he certainly felt no odd uneasy sense of more then the usual amount of danger around him.

"Ah. Well, while I can completely agree with you in a sense..." Divintra reached his hand into his bag and began to shuffle around within it as he spoke. "I'm afraid such learning was never offered to me. In just about any way really. Mother watched after me when she was alive and told me that fighting wasn't for me. It never occured to me to question her. Though a lot of what she had taught me has begun to make sense over time." Divintra pulled from his shoulderbag his glass ball. the small hand sized orb of black glass glinted a deep purple as he brought it before himself to peer into. "I am a heretic myself sir, and I don't find it half as horrible as your pretending it to be."

Divintra couldn't stop the smile that reached all the way to the purples of his eyes. His attention became more fully focused on the path ahead of them when Vic announced that they were nearly there. "No Sir. I doubt I will find it offensive at all. You really have no idea what sort of place I call home. It's litterally a pile of rubble with a small gap I have to crawl into just to get inside." Divintra paused in his words as Mavis would seemingly skitter away. Divintra's gaze followed her for just a moment, then he turnedhis eyes to the fore. "Well then. I guess that mean's she'll be leaving my ears alone tonight then right?"

Vic just smiled all the more at Divintra's musings about Lin, "Well.. I suppose you could say the same for Mavis though, when you think about it? I said that she sometimes seems to mother me as well, huh? I provide for her, I make her feel safe sometimes.. So if I am well cared for, alert, and able, I will be able to protect myself better and as such, care for her all the more as well. And on top of that, Divintra, my dear, one must never forget that they also have thoughts of their own, hmm? They can think on their own and grow attached to a person, eh?" He gave the young male a bit of a squeeze, "You are a companion to her as much as she is to you, and friends always look out for one another."
He gave the male a one eyed grin, as he started them with a renewed vigor, soon reaching the bottom of the steps.

"After you," he motioned after a pause to look thoughtfully at the.. A scrying device was it..? It was pretty, whatever it was.
"She did speak the truth, Divintra. Not everyone is suited to fighting. Although if it was something you had a passion for then it would have helped to mold you into what you are today. If you had been allowed to try it, maybe you would have improved, no?"
He kept a hand on the wall to keep himself steady as they climbed, his one eye and the increasing drop had always messed with his head a little, his depth perception did weird things at times.

"Though if you had shown promise in magical arts like my-.. Well, then it would make a lot of sense for you to pursue it." He did not find it odd for a male to be carrying a device of a seer. He had never really spent much time paying attention to what the priestesses allowed and did not allow these days. It was never of much concern to him.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 12, 2009 8:46 pm

Walking along the stairs, Divintra's eyes remained fixed firmly ahead. He had not given a throught to the steep drop that hovered nearby. He was really more interested in getting a eyeful of this new place. His cheeks had a slight pink tinge to them though. The casual manner in which Vic used such terms as 'My dear' filled him with this blushing urge to bow his head and giggle. It was utterly silly really. Vic was just a very...space friendly drow. Divintra had never known someone like that who hadn't meant to harm him.

But knowing that he and Vic both shared a faith gave him the feeling to trust him more then normal. It made him overlook things like...the fact he was walking unarmed and vulnerable into a lonesome place where he might never be seen leaving again.

Divintra cast a glance over his shoulder as he reached the bottom of the stairs and Vic continued to speak. Did he look or seem like a fellow that would take advantage of one as young as him?

"I think we all have a infinate amount of possibilities really. Even for things we are bad at. We can still work hard at it and make it our own. But...that's all in the past. What I'd rather talk about is the future."

Now that they were on the lower level, Divintra turned to hold the scrying ball out towards Vic. he was rather eager to begin the discussion. He just...needed to speak with the other about these things.

"After my mother died I had a dream. A dark man in a mask put a ball like that into my hands. When I woke up the ball was right there next to me. Ever since then I've had...well...visions. I was wondering...if you knew anything about...well... Surely he has priests and such. Do you know where I could meet one so they could maybe help me learn more about how to use the gift He gave me?"

Vic laughed, that same friendly rumble as he followed on up after Divintra, taking quiet note to how cute the little albino was when he was embarrassed! He couldn't recall the last time he had been in the company of such a sweet little thing.. Matron G'eld, though sweet behind closed doors, was an altogether different brand of sweetness! No matter how sweet and at times demurring she would act, there was forever an underlying dark, feisty streak to her that could drive him wild.. That.. Wasn't really something to think about at this time, however, the one eyed male cleared his throat.

"Indeed, we can spend the whole night going into the philosophies of oneself and the UnderDark.. But for now I agree, it is best to leave the what-if's for another time." Vic took this moment to pass Divintra on the steps, hopping easily up the last two or three to unlock and unbolt the door.. It was a semi-lengthy process. As with all his properties, he made sure they they were completely sealed up when he knew he would not be stopping by for a times.

"Home sweet home!" He grinned, happy to throw the very human saying around as he pushed open the heavy door to reveal the simple interior.
"No offense, Divintra.. But I'd rather talk about that.." He nodded to the glassy ball held out to him, "When we are safely shut in.. Just be be safe, is all.." And you don't want to touch it, coward.. He finished internally.
He motioned for Divintra to enter, "I can't speak of any such Order at the moment, but I can tell you a few bits and pieces in a moment when we're locked in and maybe have a good meal cooking.. And uh.. I assume you'd like to wash..?" He rubbed at his goatee for a moment, "You have had quite a day, lil' guy."

Divintra pressed his palms tightly about the ball after Vic's nodding to it. Once more he felt a uneasy sense of shame at the obvious reprimand he was recieving. "Ah...yes...of course. I apologize." Divintra answered in a hushed tone. How foolish of him! Just because he was in Vic's company it did not mean that he was safe, and it surely did not mean it was okay to speak about such things openly! Divintra dropped the ball lower and pressed it against his stomach to partly hide it as he waited for Vic to open the apparently well locked door.

When it was that the door was fully opened, Divintra felt only a moment of hesitation about entering. The mention of a bath though... Divintra ducked his head to hide the pink blush once more staining his cheeks. "Well a bath would be nice. I feel a bit creeped out still by the drider, and I haven't had a chance to wash since...Ah..two..three days ago?"

Divintra stepped inside the place Vic seemed to call home, and he glanced around himself slowly. It hardly looked like a dangerouse place. In fact it seemed a bit more comfortable then even his own little rat's nest of a living hole.

"Where should I go?" He questioned while turning back to Vic.

The older drow gave the albino an apologetic look as he ushered him inside. He truly did not want to have to hush the young male, but their faith was just so dangerous to them so deep in the territories of the spider-goddess. You really could never be too careful when it came to ones faith, and it was just best to hold the silence unless you were in the trusted company of another.
"There's nothing to apologise for, Little-Divintra, I can understand that you're excited!" He gave the other a small smile as he stroked a hand over the pale little males back as he followed him inside the dark home, pulling the door closed behind him then turning and pulling three heavy bolts across to secure it.

The home was only a little large inside than it appeared to be from the way in, this one main living area was cosy. An opening set in the far wall made itself known as a fireplace by the irons and two or three pots and pans beside it and the rest of the area was taken up by a low table with storage above, carved into the walls and fronted with simple wooden doors.
There was a doorway to the right with another simple door that lead to the bedroom and more storage. The bed was not narrow but still a far cry from anything bigger than a standard single and bare for now of covers, and just beyond there another tiny partitioned area that served as a very spartan bathroom.

Vic waved at the living space with a smile, "Make yourself as at home as you can, Divintra! This is pretty much it, there's a bedroom and wash area through that door." He indicated the other door.
"I'll start a little fire going and heat some water for you.. I can't say I was ever one for bathing in frigid water unless I absolutely had to.." He gave the other another friendly grin, and would have winked if he had the ability to.
"Just put your things down on the table for now, you can pull some blankets and cushions out from those cupboards for us to sit on, kid." He indicated the higher cupboards above the table, which like the rest of the place was in fact oddly dust free.
"Though as a word of the wise.." He warned, as he settled by the fire-pit, throwing only a little fuel in, "I would avoid that cupboard there.." He pointed to one of the highest ones closest to the fire, the door slightly ajar to allow a long, golden-tufted tail to hang out, "That would be you-know-who's lair. And she does tend to get more than a little grumpy when disturbed." He chuckled, striking a flint to get some tinder going.
"A little food should be in order too, in my opinion.."
