Kiske watched as Pursom attempted to find her scent to no avail. When she suggested he give a shot, he figured he might as well try. So first he stepped closer to get a better whiff of her. Then from there he started to nose around the ground to see if he could pick up on any sort of scent trail. He was never really much of a tracker, so he couldn't quite tell if he had a real lead or not.
Frowning, he soon sighed and shook his head.
"Nope.. I can't really pick up on it. But! I'm sure we'll find your family soon! And I'll be sure to keep any bullies off our backs!"
As he said that last part, he kinda bared his teeth and growled lightly to try and make himself look tough.

Pursom nodded and tried to keep back her tears. She hated being away from her family and just wanted back. Shifted from foot to foot she looked up and saw a bird. Almost as if she had forgotten she was lost she started after it. "Oh maybe the bird knows that way home!" She had followed one here, why not follow one back.
