She hadn't stopped chasing after him she had wanted to play with someone! So she caught up with him when he collapsed, pounced on him adn chewed on his ear, not the playful chew but properly chewing at his ear as if she was eating it. She was a harsh little pup but this was her version of playing.

Desert yelped at the painful gnawing on his ear and used what strength he had left to try and push her away. "You're going to rip my ear off!" he cried, and took a n** at one of her front paws, growling.

Barrel was running as fast as he could behind Shock that he nearly passed them up, not realizing that the male had collapsed. Barrel too collapsed on the ground, exhaused from carrying his weight. "Ugh. I could have gotten him before you, if you hadn't started chasing him, Shock!" He growled with frustration. He panted heavily, trying to catch his breath so he could play.

Shock turned around and just laughed, "Yeah stop being so stupid Barrel you are too slow so live with it!" She then turned to chew back on his ear as he nipped her. "Bad toy!" She swiped his maw and got off him a bit though made sure to grab hold of his tail in her mouth. She was having fun with her frisky toy.

Small drops of blood appeared where the female's teeth had cut through the tender flesh of Desert's ear. He winced as the wind began to turn the cuts to scabs, but was grateful that no permanent damage had been done. The way she had been chewing, she might have taken a chunk out of it. His thoughts were immedately brought back to the present thought as she scratched his maw and took a firm hold on his tail.
"Why are you hurting me!?" he demanded, trying to wrench his tail away from her jaws. "And I'm not your toy!"
He took a few more experimental nips at her, trying to get her to let go, so he could run off again and get back to his newly adopted pack. They couldn't be too far away, could they?

((I am gonna bring River in.. just for the fun of it!))
A large female wolf had been wandering when the crying and howling could be heard. She turned immediatly to find them and found Desert being torn apart by two other pups. A snarl escaped her maw as she turned to the two little pups. Her first move was to run upto Desert and remove the pup from his tail, a snarl continuing to escape her maw. She was protective over her pack members.
Shock yelped as she was thrown from Desert. She was soon up on her feet and snarling back at the alpha femme. She looked to Barrel for support but didn't really expect any from the "stupid" wolf. She herself would have to deal with this in her evil ways.

((Someone needed to save poor Desert XD;; ))
Barrel had already forgotten about the male pup and was busy chasing his feet around (yes...feet). He was running around in circles, his tongue lolling from his mouth.
"Hahah! Almost gotcha!"
Then, with a mighty leap...he tripped over his feet.
In other words, Barrel didn't notice what was going on!

Upon the relase of his tail,Desert immediately crawled behind River, grateful for the fact that she ha likey just saved his life. "Thank you River," he said quietly, before curling up behind her to lick his wounds. He would give her a more proper thank you when they were away from this, and the alpha was no longer distracted by the snarling female pup in front of her.

Spark turned to Barrel and clawed at his hind legs, "Will you pay attention that big thing is stealing my toy!" She then turned back to River she had no liking for this alpha what so ever. She wished that for once Barrel would some way pay attention and help she was almost certain that the two of them could take on this thing.
River nodded her head when desert whispered though her eyes were set on the other two pups one of which seemed almost certainly insane, the other, well she was messed up in the head. She reminded River somewhat of Reicher and that gave her more of a disliking to this pup. "Go away and leave us alone!" She barked at the two.

Barrel looked up at Shock with confused eyes, then his eyes caught sight of the alpha.
"Eeeep!" He whined and staggered back. He wanted to what the alpha told them to do, for she could clearly slit their throats in an instant.
But, to please Shock he contained most of his fear and stepped a few shaky feet foward.
Without warning the crazy pup took off running in circles around River. As he ran, he barked as loud as he could, hoping to confuse her enough to allow Shock to go get Desert.

Desert looked up from the careful tending of wounds as soon as Barrel began to run in circles around them. What was that crazy pup doing? And was the female pup determined enough that she would try to take on River? The kestrel-patterned pup eyed the two of them suspiciously.

Shock turned and smiled at Barrels mad burst of energy, couldn't help but love that pup sometimes. She then turned back to River who had successfully been distracted and pounced, grabbing hold of Rivers neck between her jaws. She was a stupid pup but yet she knew what she was doing and this was going to go her way at some point.
River jumped back from surprise as the pup was now dangling from her neck. She could feel the blood pumping around her body where it had to work faster to make up with the lot that was pouring out of her. It didn't tae her long though to loosen Shocks grip and send her flying into a tree. She was angry now, angrier then she had been in her life and poor little Desert would be one of the first to see her act like this. She wanted to hurt the pup more who was now standing up again snarling at River. This would be interesting.

Desert saw a movement that was not Barrel out of the corner of his eye and suddenly saw the malicious female pup dangling from a now bleeding wound in River's neck. He gasped and started towards River to try and get the pup off of her, however, the alpha had her own ways of removing the other female.
After the pup had been dislodged, Desert looked at River and saw the new expression that she wore. It looked extremely dangerous. Instinctively, he took a few steps back, into the trees.

Barrel ran around, still squeaking at the top of his lungs until he noticed that Shock had been thrown into a tree. His bright gray eyes widened and with a yelp he took off into the bushes and swiftly padded a safe distance away. Barrel was not the type to fight something he knew he would loose against, unless a good reason, or if he was just trying to show off for Shock.
With a whine he felt his tail slip between his legs. "Shock...get away while you can. She'll kill you." Regardless of his fear, a smile still shown on his lips.

Shock had risen quite quickly onto her feet even though she couldn't put one of her back paws done. Her eyes shone with anger and hate for the alpha and as she saw Desert stepping back she knew that this was something she hadn't done in front of him before, good. This means she can scare him into leaving her stupid pack. She snarled again running towards River and pouncing at her.
River moved out the way before picking the pup up again nd throwing her again, this time she checked that it wouldn't hit a tree. She hated this pup and couldn't understand how a pup could be like this. She turned to Barrel and snarle at him, warning him off before running over to pick Desert up. They were going home.
