Mishika walked solemly down the hallway, one foot in front of another, so on and so on. She knew she was late; the bell had already rung, and she could only imagine what the drill instructer had planned for her.
Then again, what did it matter to her?
She smiled at the thought and hurried down nonetheless, being as happy-go-lucky as she was. It wasn't long before she reached the building, and not to long after that did she realize everyone was outside. And so, she went on her merry little way to the outdoors. Blinking a few times as she looked around, she soon noticed the drill surgent and someone else she didn't know, but she was new, did she HAVE to know everyone? Mish made her way over to the two and saluted, "Mishika Nakigoe here, Sir! Sorry I'm late, Sir, but I got caught up in something else" She said with a small smile, "Ny'way, May I ask what were doing at the moment? Sir?"

Monica nodded. She knew she had been late, and accepted her punishment. She hated running, but she guessed she'd need to get used to it if she ever wanted to be a Wolfrider. Still, she pouted a bit, then began to make her way around the Academy. She was glad she wasn't as stupid as some other girls who brought their books, she already knew how to handle guns, thanks to her father, but she still needed this class, and more training could hardly hurt. The cold air was bothering her, but she tried to put up with that as best as she could, as well.

Adrian glanced annoyedly at the Recruits who still stood before him, talking back, of all things! They looked at him as if they had done nothing wrong, arrogant little buggers. If they thought even a minute of tardiness would be forgiven in the military, they were sorely mistaken. Narrowing his eyes at the one who had spoken up, " Never question your superiors. Now do as your told and run four laps."
Amused by the fact that some Recruits actually dared to retort, Nightwing watched as some of them smartly ran off. Then his eyes fell upon a familiar figure, a tall reddish brown wolf that towered over his human. Why, look who decided to join us.
A quick glance at Nightwing and Adrian followed his wolf's line of vision to rest on none other than the ban of his time as a Drill Sergeant: Alice O'Conner. Now Adrian wasn't one to remember names (or people), but this girl had been on his nerves ever since she bonded. He personally believed that she was not ready for life as a Wolfriders, and then Damien had to go and appoint her as the new Sergeant! Idiocy was spreading like a wildfire among his Patrol.
More voices alerted him to the even later arrivals of several female Recruits - honestly, where were all the men? Adrian sighed in frustration, wondering what was so hard to understand about arriving on time. Excuses, excuses. He pointed at Kaela. "For being stupid and not checking your schedule ahead of time, you can run four laps... barefoot." Then he looked over to Mishika. "And you, for talking too much, you can run five laps with your shoes on the wrong feet."
Turning his attention back to the annoying woman who was a Sergeant even though she wasn't prepared to even be a Wolfrider, Adrian wondered why she was even here. She wasn't even allowed here, Sergeant or not... although Rayan had had a habit of coming every so often to annoy him to death. Nightwing, kindly inform Flamehaze to inform his rider that since she's here, she might as well run a few laps with the other Recruits. Shirtless.
Nightwing pondered the request for awhile, and decided that Flamehaze wasn't one to chatter. But if the other wolf wanted to try and show up rank, then Nightwing was definitely up for a fight. He glanced over at the younger wolf. My human wants your human to run around him naked.
Hey! Adrian started to protest, but the image of a naked Alice running around him (regards of Nightwing) was rather amusing. No, you're right, that's a better idea.

Mishika blinked a few times in response, though before she could get in more trouble she took off her shoes and switched them, shifting her feet around. "Yes, Sir"
Well, It could be worse. She mused with a neutral face.
She started off in a light jog around the campus, lap one. Her feet going at a steady pace, despite her shoes being switched. Yes... It wasn't uncomfertable to her at all...
Yet, Anyway.
She looked around blankly, yet she didn't seem to see anyone running near her, or at her pace anyway.

They've spotted us. Noted Flamehaze nervously.
Goody, goody~
We're not even supposed to be here... Adrian doesn't look too pleased...
Says who? And what should Adrian care? Not like we're disrupting his class anywho.
Flamehaze would've responded, but grimaced slightly as he was addressed. He glanced over at the violet Beta, knowing very well who it was that spoken to him.
Haze's silence did not go unnoticed. Alice glanced down at where scarred, maned wolf look-a-like lay and followed his gaze to the Drill Sergeant and his wolf. She slipped from her perch on the tree branch, landing gracefully, and stood by her wolf. What do they want? Alice listened quietly as Haze recalled Nightwing's message before bursting into sardonic laughter. "That's what's he wants?! God, where this guy come up with this stuff? You really do have to give him props!" The girl calmed herself down. Funny stuff. Tell 'em this....
The wolf looked up at his rider, unsure what she thought was so funny about the Drill Sergeant's request. He listened intently to what Alice's response was before turning his thoughts back to Nightwing. There has been an operator error and that you're request has been denied. The was confusion in his voice, not really sure what Alice's response meant. He merely had relayed what he had been told. Another exchange of mental words before, My rider would like to know why "Sarge" is running a school for girls this year.

Chehero skid to a final stop in front of the sergeant her face beaming, she was the first in the class to make it through all the laps given to her and make it back to the sergeant. Coughing, releasing the air that felt like complete acid in her lungs, Chehero raised her head in another salute once again. Grimacing at the burning feeling in her chest Chehero resisted the urge to double over, this was going to be a hard man to please that was for sure.
Determination swept over her face as she quickly erased the smile from her face before he could see, trying to slow her breathing down even though it felt like utter pain she dared a glance at the wolf. Neither the purple wolf nor the sergeant seemed to care much into what was happening in her class. Resisting the urge to follow their gaze the the wolf and rider in the trees Chehero figured just staring ahead at the sky would be a much, safer, method of earning the sergeants respect. "Recruit Chehero, ready for your next order. Sir." Chehero deepened the tone of her voice so as not to come across like a little girl, after all she was the oldest so far in the class, and wasn't going to taken as something weak.

Spaz lashed through the field, what the hell was he doing so late for class? He was never late for class, not even once. This was defiantly not going to be a very well way to start of class with a drill sergeant. No, this was going to end bad, most likely numberless laps around the outside of the academy as usual. As he ran towards the sergeant he passed several girls running the opposite direction, most likely the command that had been given them. 'Girl's' he thought, 'your kidding me all girls!'
Spaz couldn't help but grin at this sort of news, this would make everything just way to easy, first off the sergeant would be pleased to have a male in the class. That was unless this particular sergeant preferred men in which case, Spaz's face grew into horror, he liked having the girls in his class. Figuring that his thoughts were going a little more than off track Spaz came into line next to a very odd girl who had obviously just finished running. He couldn't help but smirk at her obvious attempt to please the drill sergeant, glancing at the purple wolf only seemed to make Spaz pleased. He was going to love this class, and he better make the best of it if he wanted a wolf.
Raising his hand to his forehead Spaz spoke with confidence "Spaz Claw, Sir." Saying anymore to a drill sergeant would only create furry in him, more than was already sure to be coming his way for being absurdly late for class.

Huffing and trying to catch her breath Cassadaine sucked in a puff of cold air as she skidded to a stop beside Chehero. Drawing her hand up in salute she let out a puff of air. Her laps were done, and she was out of breath but that didn't mean her annoyance was gone...completely anyway. "Recruit Cassadaine awaiting your next order, sir." Her voice wasn't shaking so that was a good thing.
Eyeing the boy from the corner of her eye she almost huffed at the smirk on his face. So he thinks just because we're a bunch of girls this is gonna be easy huh? Chewing down the scowl at the thought she settled her burning blue eyes back on the Drill Sergeant. She'd just found another male she wanted to trample into the ground. She'd get a wolf...and when she did, she'd show them all. Girls were anything but weak, and if these men couldn't see it now, they'd just have to see it the hard way.

Ignoring the Sergeant's harsh words, Keeva put on her usual frown and took off through the snowy grounds. She moved her books, one under each arm, to give her more balance while she plowed around the field. It didn't take her too long to complete the run; third back wasn't too bad.
She tightened her chest, slowing her breath as she had learned to do in the quiet nights on the City streets, and came to a stop next to two other girls. Her stomach cramping, her hands and legs half frozen, she refused to show this man any pain. Pushing her long hair back, she saluted and waited for a reply.

Dave followed close behind his twin brother, as he made his way across the great snowy feild. Being late for class was something that seemed to be a constant reocurrance for him, not that he seemed to care much. There seemed to be a fair number of girls in this class, running a hand through his red hair Dave took in the notice off all the girls running about the feild. Blushing he was glad it was so cold out, he could at least pretend that it was colder than he could handle.
Coming to a halt beside Cassadaine, Dave mearly rose his hand to eye level making sure not to make contact with the drill sergeant. He was going to hate this class, there was no mistake about that. But for what reason? Because he was surrounded by developed girls, or the fact they were running he couldn't really tell. Trying to get the image out of his mind he followed the gaze of both the sergeant and his wolf towards another wolf and its rider.

Kaela shied away ever so slightly at the sergeant's rough tone, despite her efforts not to. Her false feeling of bravery was evaporating--quickly. With a nervous little nod, she turned to strip off her shoes and socks, deliberately letting her long hair fall between her face and his disapproving gaze. She was making a mess of the entire affair, her usually graceful movements restricted and awkward.
Face warm with embarrassment, she stood and set off, eyes fixed on the ground in front of her. For the millionth time she wished she wasn't so much younger and smaller than the other girls, then her mind was fixed on the task ahead. Her focus narrowed to a small, raven-haired bundle in her mind's eye until she no longer felt the mild pain of pebbles and rough ground on her feet.

Dave's green eye's were caught but the smaller blue haired girl as she tore her shoes and socks off. She was running barefoot? at this rate he was going to really hate the sergeant. His green eye's continued to follow the small girl as she ran about the feild he was completely distracted by her. Mentally slapping himself he had to really force himself to look at the sergeant.

Monica finished her laps and returned to the sergeant, and waited awkwardly. She was slightly ut of breath, and hoped she wouldn't get yelled at. She felt sorry for the girls who had no shoes on, it was cold, and pretty icy.

Huffing... Huffing...
Mishika finnaly neared the end of her fifth lap. Her cheecks were red, her nose running wildly, her entire face was numb. Not to mention her feet, which were aching in pain come around her third lap, were now numb aswell.
She was grateful to the cold for that reason only.
She wanted to ask if she could switch her shoes back normally, but she knew the answer was going to be a no, so she kept quiet.
Still breathing heavly, she stood up and saluted to the Sargent, "M-Mishika Nakigoe, reporting for the next task!" said blurted out, though she then coughed a few times, her lungs burning from the cold. She forced herself to try and breath normally, and then waited quietly for instructions.

Kaela shivered as she slowed almost reluctantly to a stop. Not only did the heat of exercise now evaporate, but so did the image of her little baby, leaving her once again standing at attention in front of that hard, cold gaze. She locked her hands behind her back so they would not shake.
"Recruit Kaela Hart, reporting finished and ready for the next order, sir." The words sounded awkward as they left her mouth, though it might have been the cold...
As the accelerated thumping of her heart began to slow, she became mildly aware of a feeling, as though someone were watching her. Fighting the urge to glance backwards, she hesitated before giving as smart a salute as she could manage. Was it only her imagination, or had the field suddenly grown deathly quiet?
