Itachi-Uchiha-Sama00 Uh, read the poll Nyu, it says who is the #1 player they have ever had. ANd, true, without their rushing attack they wouldn't be doing good, but what if they didn't have a passing attack, would they be doing good then? A good running game stimulates a better passing game more than a good passing game stimulates a better running game. ...Look at the Cardinals: A great passing team through the air, but still cannot open anything up on the ground.

It depends on the team you're playing. If they suck, then your WR is key, and big pass plays are easy to make. If they're good, you want to keep it on the ground. Alas, Jake Delhomeboy was an idiot and didn't use his two most powerful weapons and tried to rely on Steve Smith. Bad idea against the Card's defense.

They had to rely on Steve Smith not on choice, but out of necessity. If they had stopped the cards on their first drive, they could have used their RB's to win the game. Problem was they paniced and they coughed it up.

If he had not thrown the ball into the Card's hands five times, then there would have been no problem.

They played really well. Limited the run early, and then created big plays.

Yeah, and the Carolina defense took a dump that day too. If they had been covering Fitzgerald and...I think his name is Boldin...whatever. If they had been covering the Card's WR's properly, then there would have been no problem in the first place. Jake would have thrown those int's anyways and it would have been okay. John Fox would have kicked his a** afterwards, but as if he doesn't have to kick his a** after every game anyways.

The Kurt Warner to Larry Fitzgerald hookup was working all day for the Cardinals. I couldn't believe how much they shat on you...Look at it this way. Bolin, one of the best receivers in the league, was out with an injury. Breaston, another good Cardinals receiver, didn't do much. Also, the Cardinals has injuries at the tight end position. To give up so many big plays to the only Cardinals receiver threat was a huge blunder. Larry was open on every play. And it didn't help Carolina that Warner also had all the time in the world to throw. Like 170 yards and a touchdown was a great performance by Fitzgerald. Like I said before, he's the best receiver in the NFL right now.

Argus Plexus I wish Carolina could get him on their side somehow, and get a smarter quarterback. It's not fantasy football. They can't just grab the best wide receiver in the league. Anyways, Fitzgerald has already signed a long term deal with the Cardinals.

He's right up there with Steve Smith. Above Steve Smith. Right now I have Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Andre Johnson. Steve Smith is up there with Calvin Johnson, Plaxico Burress, Roddy White, Anquan Boldin, Brandon Marshall, and Reggie Wayne, in the tier right below the elites.
