I have always loved my team. I have also always wanted to know who was the #1 player they have ever had. So choose from this list.
My vote is going towards Steve Smith.

Yes, there already is a Panthers thread... ...But I think that DeAngello Williams is the most important player on the Carolina Panthers. If he gets going, then the entire team does.

I'd say Steve Smith. That's about the only credit I give to the Panthers. That and their defense. I don't pay them much attention, which is interesting considering that I live in Charlotte.

I'm not saying the team is horrible. They have a great running game and a great weapon in Steve Smith. Their defense is tough. And Jake Delhomme is at the top of their game. I still don't like them. Well, mainly 'cuz I never really heard much about the Panthers until I moved here. I'm not gonna move to the state and then suddenly decide I'm a Carolina Panthers fan.

To discuss their best key player and not just about them. Just the key player of the team.

How about this. Since I lack the knowledge for the team I choose not to give any interest to, I cannot give them credit for anything because it will be insufficient on my part.

Foster isn't even on the team. He's with the Niners. Lol. Better cahnge that poll.
Steve Smith. Without him, Delhomme is throwing 50 interceptions. With Smith, throw it to him, he'll catch it anywhere.

With Smith, throw it to him, he'll catch it anywhere. But without a good rushing attack, it will not open up the passing game. A good running game keeps the defense limited in their defensive schemes, so they don't pay as much attention to the pass. Look at how the Panthers' passing game struggled last season, after a bad rushing performance.

Uh, read the poll Nyu, it says who is the #1 player they have ever had. ANd, true, without their rushing attack they wouldn't be doing good, but what if they didn't have a passing attack, would they be doing good then?

ANd, true, without their rushing attack they wouldn't be doing good, but what if they didn't have a passing attack, would they be doing good then? You know, I don't read the useless words. Anyway, Foster shouldn't even be on that list. He hasn't really had one good season with them. If anything put Kris Jenkins in there. That guy was a beast in the middle. Don't forget Jordan Gross. He's been protecting Delhomme and helps that rushing attack. Offensive line doesn't get enough credit. Lol.
