Morgan scurried after Jacques trying to be as quiet as possible though his nails did click and clack a little on the linoleum floor. The young Nu mou child was far less concerned with protecting anybody from the nefarious Waldo than he was determined to catch the evil man and put him away for good. Also he wanted to learn how the man put the fake version of himself in the book and how he might have escaped from it in the first place.
Skylar wasn't really planning anything at all, his only goal was find Waldo. Simple straight to the point and easy, right? After watching the fluffy tailed boy and Morgan go first, Skylar tip toed across the open floor, using typical sneaking movements he'd seen on tv. The young child half expected to hear funny music as he walked. Once he was safely across the dark skinned boy looked at Jacques for guidance, he might be able to point things out but Skylar was no leader.

The tingling sensation to seep down Jacques' back was horridly delightful. His tail had swayed from side to side as his ears had flicked down and up. He was stone-faced determined, but the adventure ... The adventure excited him as much as it worried him. He was confident, however. His worries would subside with a peek into the room - and sure enough they did when he saw Lowell seated at one of the computeres and reading something that Jacques couldn't quite make out.
Heaving a breath of relief, the young chipmunk had allowed his shoulders to sink. The king was safe; to a 'bodyguard', that meant the world. Jacques had found himself smiling as he straightened. Victory would be theirs! The hunt was not over, and thus security not ensured. Where was the dastardly Waldo lurking?
Jacques' face had grown long as he silently clapped his little hands together. His eyes had been set upon the Nu Mou children as he straightened himself up. "Maybe we should split up and look around the room. If someone finds him, they can call, and we'll get him!"
He had covered his mouth whenhis voice had gotten too loud. It was hardly enough to catch the attention of anyone absorbed within their own activities.

Morgan nodded and slipped past the other boy into the computer lab. The Nu mou child sticking close to a wall so as not to gather any extra attention. Although he was having a hard time focusing on trying to find Waldo instead of looking at various people's screens to see what they were doing, the boy was naturally curious.
Skylar took off in the opposite direction and simply walked about as if he belonged there, the tiptoe walk would look silly here if anyone bothered to pay attention to him.
