"Sure," Hon said as she finished the rest of her breakfast and stood up also. She pushed their plates into the pet sink, and walked to stand next to him. She watched as he grabbed some food to go and began to lead the way. She matched her pace to his, and looked around as they left the house, looking for the perfect spot. They passed three of the meadows before she found a spot that she likes and pointed her nose to it. "How about right there?" she asked to a shaded but warm, flowery, yet isolated spot of a meadow.

Star looked at the spot and switched directions to head towards it. "It is perfect," he assured her, liking that it was mostly secluded so that they could spend a private day together. He reached the spot with Hon right behind him and set the food on a nearby rock. He reached for the book but Hon made sure it was out of his reach. He looked at her confused. "Do you not want to read today?" he asked, suddenly a little worried that he had misjudged her affection for him.

Hon blinked up at him and giggled. "No, I want to read. You read all yesterday, so that means today is my turn." She leaned forward and licked his cheek. "Do not worry so much," she gave him that gentle smile of hers as she reassured him. "Everything is perfectly alright, though I am curious to know what the something you like is? The reason why you want to stay here for a while," Hon asked in a hopeful voice though she tried to down play it. "Will you tell me?" She lay down on a soft bed of grass as she waited for his reply.

Star smiles at her and rubs his head against hers. "You will see, soon I hope." With that he snatched the book and plops down, beginning to read. He smiles as she scoots next to him and looks over his shoulder at the words as he reads them aloud. It was soon approaching noon and he looked at the basket. "Are you hungry?" he asked as he began to stand.
I have given Athena831 permission to play Hon so that I can get some fresh ideas and she will be entitled to one of the babies so that she may get her first fox from the shop.

Hon smiled, and stood, stretching as she did. "Yes, I am a little hungry. I didn't realize so much time had passed." She walked over to their picnic basket, and then sat down in the grass, waiting for Star. She blushed when he smiled at her as he walked over to her. She rubbed her head against him lightly as he walked past, turning bright red as she did. "Sorry. I mean... um..."

Star smiled at her. "Please, do not apologize, it would be depressing." He flipped the basket open with his paw. "Now what would you like to eat. We have cheese sandwiches, and some fish." He pulled out a container and used his teeth to pry it open. Only a little water splashed out. He repeated the process with a second container. "Though next time I say we eat by a stream as these containers are not fox friendly." He chuckled at his joke and watched her patiently as he waited for an answer.

"So I see, well there are plenty of streams nearby. May I have a little of each?" she asked, pulling one of the water containers toward her. She took a drink, and then looked over at him waiting for an answer. All the while, she sat their, puzzling over why her apology would have been depressing. 'That simply does not make sense,' she thought to herself. 'Oh, well, I am sure he had a good reason.' She realized how silly her thoughts would sound to him, and then laughed softly at herself.

Star giggled and pulled out both the containers and once again opened them with his teeth before placing a portion of each on two of the lids. One for her and one for him. "Please enjoy." he said and smiled as he the saw confusion on her face about his comment. The reason it would be depressing if she apologized was because then she wouldn't mean it and he wanted her to mean it. But he would not say that outloud as he did not know her feelings for him yet.

"Thank you, very much," she said, looking down as she did. She looked at him, but then looked away quickly, and kept her head down as she started to eat. 'I hate being so nervous with Star,' she thought, 'but I can't seem to help it.' She sighed softly, knowing that it would be hard for her to ever get over her nerves, but also knowing-although she did not want to admit it, that Star made her want to get over them. She occasionally glance at him as they ate their meal, not sure what to say.

Star smiled at the nervous glances she was sending his way but pretended not to notice them. She was quiet so he decided to start up a conversation. "So, how long have you been with Kazuyo and do you plan on staying with her?" he asked hoping the answer to the second question was yes. He would hate to see her leave or run off with another fox.
(the answer to the first part is around 3 months)

"I have been with her for about three months, and I love it here. I don't plan to leave. You said you plan to stay here, would anything ever cause you to leave?" she asked, nearly dreading his answer, if he left she would be very unhappy. However, she knew she could not tell him that, because as much as she was growing to like him, she did not want him to stay on her account unless that was what would make him happy. She bit the side of her mouth lightly, as she waited for his answer.

Star smiled. He was glad that she did not want to leave. "No, I do like it here. Only one thing could cause me to leave this wonderful place that Kazuyo has created." He left it at that and finished eating his meal, waiting for more questions. Hon was the type who needed to find the answers in her books and in reallife so he knew that he would have more to answer.

"What would that one thing be?" she asked, still nervous as she waited for his answer. She looked at him, straight in the eye for once. As she did, her curiousity caused her to tilt her head a little to the right, and she forgot her nerves for a moment. Her curiousity was one of the few things that made her relax, because she loved to find the answer's to questions and it made her happy when she did. She stood and started to clean up her section of the picnic as she finished and waited for her answer.

Star took a drink and cleaned his section up quickly before looking at her again. "I would leave if you left." he said simply, a little uncomfortable in sharing his feelings out loud with the girl he was so deeply in love with already whether he was ready to admit it or not. He gave her a small smile. "So if you want me to stay then don't go running off or disappearing." He walked over to her and rubbed his furry head against hers.

She blushed again, turning the most red he had seen her yet. "I won't leave," she said, rubbing her head against him too. "I would miss you too much," she said-wishing she could take back her words as soon as she did. She was extremely embarrassed over her admission, and looked away quickly. She sat down, but then stood again and paced a little. She could not believe she had said that outloud, even though it was extremely true. 'Oh, God. Why did I say that?' she thought to herself, mentally berating herself for what she considered to be a mistake. 'What if he does not feel the same way?'
