Iwona nodded as she partially understood what he was saying. "So if we cut a hole in the ice, we can catch fishies?" Her tail wagged at the thought of catching a bunch of small, cold fishes under the ice, and she smiled brightly.

He nodded, "Yep! That's exactly right. We'd need something to cut the ice first though," Isaac finished, knowing that they didn't have anything to cut into the ice. Maybe they could go some other time? At this thought he mentally shook his head. No...no making plans in the future with Iwona. Especially those which sounded like dates...what if she wound up liking him when he didn't like her in that way? At least he didn't think he liked her that way...from this he mentally hit his head. He didn't like her. He couldn't like her. That was just an impossibility.

Iwona blinked, the whole thought of havign to cut the ice first having just been set in her mind. She nibbled lightly on her paw. "Can we cut the ice?" She didn't know how you actually did that, but she liked the idea of catching cold fish. It sounded like a load of fun. She cocked her head to the side as she saw him hit his head, and wondered why he did it.

(he did it mentally, but whatever. He might've done it for real by accident. xd )
Isaac thought for a moment, then said, "We'd need a tool to do it." He wasn't sure if Iwona had access to one, and he didn't really care for the idea of using a knife since it would take a while. He wondered if she thought the idea of ice fishing was more fun than ice skating. If she did, then he might just put up with the knife.

"What kind of tool?" She wondered what you used to break ice. Did you use a giant hammer, or an acorn, or a knife or something? All of those sounded like they would take a while to break the ice with. And then, how did you catch the fish from the small hole?

"Hmm...probably a knife of some sort, preferably big and thick so it won't bend or break and will be easier to use. Not too sharp either, in case something happens. Oh, and salt. Some salt would be really helpful." Isaac mentioned. Since salt lowered the freezing point of water, it would make the ice easeir to cut through. "We'll also need a fishing rod or at least the materials to make one if we don't feel like diving into icy water to catch the fish." He figured the fish would probably be slower in winter, but he wasn't sure that he wanted to risk freezing to death for a bit of fun with the fishies.

"Ooh!" Iwona said in responce to the whole list. He had obviously thought the whole thing through more than she had thought to. She kinda liked how her firend always seemed to do that, it surely saved her from a lot of messing up and whatnot.

"I think we could probably find all that stuff back at Sara's house if you'd like to go ice fishing," he finished up, now exiting his thoughts to pay more attention to Iwona. It looked to him like she was interested in the concept, so he wondered if they should bring a bucket just in case she wanted to eat her catch.

"Really?" Iwona stood up and stretched before looking at the water. She wondered if there really could be little fish in it, despite how cold it was.

Isaac nodded. "Really!" He wondered how the fish withstood the cold temperatures. He figured they probably stuck close to the bottom of the lake or pond, away from the ice. That was most likely where it was warmest.

"So..." Iwona circled around Isaac before stopping right next to him. "Are we going to get stuff to go fishing now?" She didn't mean to be pushy, but she wanted to fish.

"You bet. Follow me," Isaac said with a nod, and headed off toward the house, happy to oblige. He just wondered how and were they were going to get a fishing pole. He would have to ask Sara if he could use hers, since he didn't fancy reinventing the wheel if he could help it.

Iwona was happy to listen to him and followed right behind, keeping her focus mostly ahead or her, and the snow, and anything else around them. So she couldn't keep consentrated on just walking, that didn't matter. This was still going to be fun.

Isaac led the way to the house he called home, and opened the door, holding it open for Iwona. A few curious namrah peeked at them, waving politely, before going back to what they were doing, keeping ears open for the reason this namir was in the home. "I'm going to go find the things we need. Want to wait here or come with me?"

Iwona looked over at the namrah in the house, and waved. They seemed nice. She turned her attention back to Isaac. "Oh, I think I'll just stay here. I have a knack for getting lost." She made a silly face before laughing.
