An almost unrecognizable girl entered from upstairs, dressed in an odd assortment of Christmas things to the black dress and slippers.
"Hey," said Ed in a voice almost no one would have heard in ages, "party's started already, huh?"
And immediately she spotted Siegell. No doubt he wouldn't recognize her in this form. So the girl pointed at the wyvern rider, her blue eyes (the one feature that remained almost unchanged) flickering with accusation.
"Hey, thanks for the presents. But no thanks for making someone cry."
She turned away to nibble on something or have a drink.

Sue wasn't quite sure what to do about Siegell being so straightforward with Amelia. She wished that there was some kinda "Rhys Signal" as to call their bishop leader to come and save the day.
There weren't suppposed to be any surprise Pandora's boxes, right? Besides, he was being polite enough...
She noticed Ed. "Hello there! I bet you're here to enjoy yourself, aren't you?"

Amelia looked away from Siegell at his compliment, puffing out her cheeks in indignation, as if she were a young child instead of a young woman. "Oh, I'm sure you do," she said, keeping her voice level and quite civil, at least for now. "That flute--" she began. She stopped, more out of surprise than anything else, as he took her hand, wrapped an arm firmly around her middle, and pulled her against his chest without much warning (or waiting for her agreement, for that matter). Host Club... Host Club... be nice... she thought as a sort of mantra. She was a clumsy dancer at best, often stumbling over her own feet in slow dances or putting her arms in the wrong places, but managed to at least keep up with Siegell and not step down onto his feet in her red boots. "The flute. The flute you gave Nils." she reminded him before tilting her head up to look at his face -- or what of it that could be seen under that mask -- and kept her expression as neutral as she could. "You gave Nils a cursed flute. Everyone basically turned into zombies when he played it. Explain why you would give Nils something like that. And for that matter, apologize to him."

"You know it seems nice that the party finally came along." Nometal walked in, to see the people that arrived already.

"Yup," Ed replied, stopping near a table. "We all need a break from all this drama we've been having." She brushed some hairs behind her ears and out of her face. "You helped set up the party, huh? You guys did a fine job."
She glanced toward a nearby wall. "Is that holly even real? I didn't know we could afford that." Evidently, she hadn't seen Rhys practicing his illusional magic.
Ed was still looking at the holly when she dropped the question: "Think your father will be back soon?"

Valter walked into the room, about to tell everyone the bad news, but when he saw the decorations, he remembered the party. I can't believe I forgot!, He thought to himself. I guess the news will have to wait. Valter scurried off to put something presentable on before he missed any more of the party.
[[I have to eat now, so I'll be back when I'm done!]]

"Well why don't we entertain some of the lonely guests, then?" Fire Dragon suggested.

Marshmallow Kitty Amelia looked away from Siegell at his compliment, puffing out her cheeks in indignation, as if she were a young child instead of a young woman. "Oh, I'm sure you do," she said, keeping her voice level and quite civil, at least for now. "That flute--" she began. "You gave Nils a cursed flute. Everyone basically turned into zombies when he played it. Explain why you would give Nils something like that. And for that matter, apologize to him." Siegell blinked, leading Amelia in a slow twirl and bringing her back to himself, quite close. He smelled nice, and his hands were warm. She could feel his taut muscles under his coat-- no, stop it, Amelia! Think about Rhys! And, uh... the mechanics of fore-arm spear thrusts! Stop thinking about spear thrusts! Siegell interrupted the silence between them with a slow murmur, "Cursed flute... I... goddess, I've made such a terrible mistake." He dipped her lightly, his face just an inch from hers, then stood upright again, shifting his feet and reversing the step in time with the music. He leant his own smooth grace to Amelia as they danced across the floor. "I thought... remember that kidnapper I told you about, the one I saved all those children from? He was a bard... gods, I've been so stupid," he murmured, keeping his voice down so that he wouldn't interrupt the other partygoers. "He used that flute to control them, but I thought it was his magic... I didn't know it was the flute, I swear," he sighed apologetically. "I only hope Nils can forgive me," he added quietly. He pulled her close again, his fingers entwined with hers while his other hand gently pressed on her back. Goddess, he smelled nice...

(Okay good I'm not that late 8D) Aran walked down the stairs wearing one of his nicer sets of clothing. A black buttoned coat, as well as black pants. "Lets get this party started then." Of course he'd just go for the food first, but yeah. He saw Siegell with Amelia. Wow, Rhys is gonna be pissed if he sees this.

{Nooooooooo getting in the way of A supports, Siegell!!!!! D: Also, I don't think I'll be back, as I have to work tomorrow and... well, I'm just getting off Gaia for tonight, as I have been here all day. G'night!}
Noticing the soldier, Aran, Victoria waved politely, although slightly dazed from the wine she was sipping. It was one of those 'sinful' things that clergy weren't supposed to do, but FEF wasn't a REAL order of Elmine, so she could bend a few rules... even break them. "Hi there!" she said, more cheerfully than normal.
Sue, on the other hand, was still waiting for her Lord's dramatic entrance, as to save herself the grief of seeing yet another relationship where infidelity happened....

Amelia huffed out a silent breath and looked away from Siegell as he twirled her and gently tugged her against his chest. She thought of Rhys' carrot-top hair as he continued moving, not speaking as he began to murmur in what she found to be a rather guilty-sounding voice. Because you feel bad... or got called out? she thought wryly.
"Yes, I remember," Amelia told him. She didn't notice Aran walking past, though if he had noticed her vaguely irritated expression, he might realize that she wasn't cheating on her new-found love interest. With his explanation, she blinked. Makes sense, but...
"If that's the case, why didn't you try to test it, just to make sure...?" she asked. She still sounded annoyed, but the tone was clouded by the curiosity. She vaguely wondered if he was wearing some sort of cologne, keeping in step with him.
Amelia didn't bother keeping up pretenses. "And by the way..." she told him, expression still carefully neutral, "if you're thinking about pulling anything funny, it won't work."

(( Man, hosting myself... I never thought I'd have to do that. xD ))
"Necklace... yeah, that'd be Alihi." Nils looked over at Alihi, and then back at Fire Dragon. A mischievous grin appeared on his face. "Why not?"
