Ollie felt on edge though she couldn't for the life of her figure out why. A few more steps and she was in the church, and soon found that she wasn't alone. She stared at the other girl, enticed by her gaze.
"I'm sorry. Did I interrupt you?" she asks quietly, moving slowly farther into the church. Once inside she could tell this other woman wasn't human. She had no heartbeat. Still, she smiled, trying hard to stay polite while keeping up her guard.

Zack smiled. "Oh I'm fine. I was reading a sign as I was walking." He said. His nervousness had faded. He knew that one he was talking to was a vampire, but he still admired her beauty. Who could deny a pretty face when one faced it?" He smiled at Mara again. "Beautiful night isn't it?" He asked.

Mara giggled lightly. "I am glad you are not hurt. That would be a shame for a man as charming as yourself to be wounded on a beautiful night such as this." She looked up at the moon and back at the stranger. "Yes, it is a lovely night."

Zack chuckled. "Yeah... that would be a problem." He said to her. "So where were you headed to?" Zack asked. "Just walking around the city? Or something else?" Zack smiled, and tilted his head a little bit.

"No, you did not." Eve said, her already quiet voice echoing off the vaulted ceiling. She took a few careful steps forward. At first glance, the girl appeared just as any other mortal, but her heartbeat was almost non existent. Eve could only sense the faintest murmur from the stranger's chest. On closer examination, the girl had a preternatural gaze; a shine in her soft brown eyes that only a fellow immortal would notice. Eve was taken aback. Never had she encountered a cross breed, but this girl certainly had traces of the Nosferatu race. "I wasn't aware that any others came here these days."

Using the space she could Mara spread her hands away from her and shrugged, then wrapped her arms around herself. "No, I'm just walking around looking for something to do this evening. How about yourself?" She asked. "If you have the time would you like to find a quieter place to talk?" She asked realizing that they were stalled in the center of a busy sidewalk.

She gave a small smile, shuffling her feet on the ground.
"My mother liked this place. I don't come here often."
Ollie watched the other girls face intently, assuming she'd hear her faint heartbeat. She gave a grin.
"I really don't see many vampires in churches..." she says, her eyes straying away from the other girls beautiful face.

Zack grinned. "I was just walking around myself." He said looking around. "Yeah, lets go find somewhere less crowded, I thought I saw a park a couple blocks away from here." He said. "My name's Zack. What's yours?" He asked pleasantly.

"Mara," Mara said with a short curtsy. "It is a pleasure to meet you Zack." She smiled, "Yes, there is a park just down the road, if I remember correctly. Quite a wonderful place to walk, and talk."

"Nice to meet you Mara." Zack said to her. "And the park isn't very bust at night." He said with a small laugh as he started to walk with Mara to the park. "Your a very nice person. It's not often that bump into someone like you at night." He commented. He avoided saying anything that might allude that he knew that she was a vampire. He was genuinely interested, but he didn't want to play his hand too soon, it might give the wrong impression.

Eve focused intently on the girl's young face, flawless and innocent. "Observant aren't we? I would expect no less from one such as yourself. Ah, the old cliche? Well you should know better than anyone, faith does not deter us." she gave a smirk, and gazed around at the decaying walls.

After talking with him as long as she had she knew that he knew her secrete. She had read it in his mind. She laughed softly for a moment. "Thank you." she said softly, "There are many surprises in this night. The moon makes them so." She said looking up at the great silvery orb hovering overhead. She nodded slightly to it, as if in thanks. "I would not have expected meeting an individual such as yourself. I am glad you were reading signs."

Ollie watched the other girl for a moment, her guard dropping slightly. She walked down the middle hall that leads up to the alter, before turning back to the other girl. "...How old are you?", she then grimaced and help up her hands like a shield, "I know that sounds rude, but I'm just so curious."

"That's an interesting take on it." He said with a chuckle. "I usually get told its a bad habit." He looked at the moon himself. "Well, tonight certainly is turning out to be interesting. I should go for more walks at night." He said as he saw the entrance to the park coming up.
