Tima carefully and with slowness that would have been agony for most, righted herself until she was standing up on the ice. She took a tiny step and held it there momentarily before taking another, heading toward Jinx with a kind of hunched shuffle-walk. "Try walking slowly, and take very small steps."

Jinx watched Tima and nodded. "Yeah, okay I can try." So, she once again tried to stand. She didn't get very far. The female then just laughed. "I know, I'll slide." Jinx then began to slide herself across the ice towards the land.

Tima watched Jinx slide towards the waters edge, then with a completely serious look on her face, she laid down with her front on the ice, her shirt the only thing between her and the ice. Pointing herself toward land, she put out her hands, placed them firmly onto the ice and shoved herself forward until she had enough momentum to propel herself to the snow-covered ground.

Jinx watched as Tima went by. She couldn't help but giggle a little to herself. "That was great. Great idea!" She called as she slid herself the rest of the way. "I bet I could skate that way." She stood up on the snow and looked back at the ice. "Maybe not."

Upon reaching the shore, Time stood up in the snow, staring down at the ice crystals caked on her clothes. "That was......fun?" She looked at Jinx, as though wanting her to confirm that it actually was fun. She smiled; if anything it had been interesting; how effortlessly she had glided along the frozen water.

Jinx laughed at the fact that Time asked a question. "Yeah, that sure looked like fun." Jinx wasn't bold enough to try it herself. She thought it best to just watch others. Better not to get hurt...or hurt worse then normal. "I bet running and then falling to slide would be fun too...if you did it right."

Tima cocked her head and pondered for an instant. "Running and....falling...." She closed her eyes for a few moments, remembering a feeling of dashing along a dark place, the wind whistling past her ears, pulling her hair back, the smacking sound of her feet hitting the ground at a regular speedy rhythm.
She opened her eyes and smiled at Jinx. "I don't know about falling, but I am good at running."

Jinx nodded. "Really? I can barely walk, I don't think running is a very good idea." Jinx laughed at herself before looking again to the ice. "Well, maybe I should try. I can't hurt myself more then normal." She looked to Tima to see what she thought.

Raising her eyebrows, Tima looked oddly at Jinx. "Barely walk? What do you mean?" The anthro in front of her didn't look as though she couldn't walk; she was standing okay, and she had to have gotten here somehow.
Then she considered the rest of the words. "More....than normal? You hurt yourself often?"

JInx nodded. "Yeah, I tend to fall down a lot and walk into things. Don't worry though, I'm always okay." She had never hurt herself too badly and she was always able to walk to wherever it was she was going. Just little mishaps on the way.

Tima walked over and put out a hand, unabashedly touching the top half of one of Jinx's legs. "Do your legs malfunction? Maybe you should tell someone." She wouldn't know exactly who, but she vaguely remembered that if you told things to the right people, they could help make things better.

"Yeah, I guess that's a good word for it. I was just born that way. I'm not sure who could help." Jinx wasn't sure who would be able to fix it or even care, but that was okay. By now she was getting used to it.

Tima nodded once and withdrew her hand. "Well......maybe you just need to use them more. At least here there's lots of soft, cold stuff for you to fall on if you trip and fall, right?" She turned around and did a slow little spin. "I didn't walk well either when I was.....when I first came here. But I'm okay now."

"You know you are right. I'm starting to think this is my favorite time of the year. With the snow all around the falls aren't so bad. Really they can be kinda fun." Jinx giggled a little before standing up. "Really? How did you get better? Practice?"

Tima nodded and smiled. "Lots of the namrah I see love the snow. It's fun to play in." She laughed a little at Jinx's guess. "Well, I had to learn very fast. One of the first things I remember is running. We were always running; through dark places, through crowds of people, and even through snow. But at that time it was falling from the sky too."
