"Oh, I'm not going anywhere in particular." Cho said to the stranger as she set her child down on the ground. "Stay around here Ayaka." She told the child as she began to run up and down the street. "I'm on a mission, I'm searching for my lost daughter." Cho said laying her hand on her hip and stretching. Her voice quieted to a soft whisper.

Suiyobi turned, feeling another aura aside from his own; though faint, and almost fluttering. His eyes darted from side to side, searching for the being. Cautiously, he approached a near-by tree, convinced something was hiding. Reaching a gloved hand outward, he grabbed behind the large trunk, attempting to pull the cowering thing into sunlight. His katana was readied for a deadly blow, but once the creature was before him, he lowered his weapon, staring into it's eyes; so much like dark shining pools. The creature was much smaller in stature; slim, with long pointed ears. Her light skin held an odd pallor, in great contrast to the forest's vivid green. "And who are you? The one responsible for this!?" there was a tinge of anger in his voice, despite her fragile appearance. He pulled her to his side, with a rough jerk, so she would face the horrid scene.

Kyoji bowed his head. "I see." He said softly to Cho. "In that case, can I offer you any assistance?" He asked her. "I don't doubt that you are capable of holding your own, don't misunderstand me. But these are dark times, and it is safer to travel in numbers. With all the creatures roaming about." He said, looking at Ayaka and then at Cho.

Yume, struck by the color of his hair and eyes, didn't hear him at first, but once the question fully took shape and made sense in her head, it echoed through her. She became still, her eyes narrowing at him. The air stilled around the two of them until a small, sharp burst of energy exuded from her, pushing him away from her. Her jaw tightened and her breathing became fast. However, she laxed, looking away from the ravaged corpses. "No, I did not. But you should kill me anyway. I had a hand in this disaster..."

"If it would not annoy you." Cho said watching the child, "And if you ever want to leave I don't want you to feel tied down." She sighed, "My daughter Ayaka, she can be a handful at times. Oh by the way, my name is Cho." She said smiling at the stranger. "It would be much appreciated if you would accompany us. We can defend ourselves, but it's not totally fool proof." Cho said blushing.

Kyoji smiled and bowed. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss Cho." He said. "I am Kyoji. And it won't tie me down. I don't have a place to go to, or anything else to do really." He said. "It will be good for me. Something different for me to do. Its no trouble." Kyoji smiled at Ayaka and the at Cho. "In times like these, it is good to have an entourage."

Gouki held his stomach as he followed his energetic little sister.
"Ahh come on sis. Slow down will ya? I'm starving over here." Gouki said as his stomach growled loud enough to be heard by Mara. Suddenly Gouki saw a tree bearing fruit and he whooped for joy as he ran up to it. Not far off a young woman lay motionless. Wait Mara stay there. I need to check something Gouki said as he nudged the woman
"Hey you alive miss?" Gouki asked concerned. His stomach growled again with complaint.

“I’m alive…” Her voice came weakly as she spoke. Her body didn’t move however as she laid there. It was quite clear she had not eaten in days. Her body and face was pale to the appearance as she looked at Gouki. Her blue eyes seemed sad while pale pinkish-white hair seemed to flow all around her body. She looked to be soaked from head to toe from sort of attack by the darkness within her own body.
She had survived only barely as she tried to get up. She would reach into her pouch as grab some jerky that she had fully planned to offer to the boy hearing his stomach growl until she passed out from her own hunger. She had food on her, but barely enough to suffice.

"Okay sis its safe to come over. Please watch this woman while I get some fruit form this tree." Gouki said to his sister loud enough to be heard. He summoned his staff and It extended so he flew up into the tree.

Mara had been dancing along the edge of the great road. She looked back over her shoulder at her brother. "Come on Gouki!" she had shouted back to him as she waved her hand wildly above her head. She had not found the bounds of her energy yet.
When told to stay where she was Mara listened to him stopping, and freezing in place. She watched him run over to a woman, fallen on the path. "Is she alright?" Mara asked Gouki as she ran up to him. She kneeled by her side. "Are you alright miss?" she asked in a quiet voice. She watched her brother fetching the fruit. "How will we get it to her if she's unconscious?" Mara asked.
"As to you too." Cho said smiling, "It is wonderful to meet you Kyoji. I really appreciate it!" Cho really was very thankful for his blessing of helping her keep her child safe. "Ayaka, please come and meet our new companion." the mother said.
Ayaka turned to face them. "Hello!" she said cheerfully as she skipped back. "Is this my father?" Ayaka asked Cho, "Is that why you trust him so soon?" Ayaka asked.
"Back to your games you silly girl." Cho told Ayaka, "No this man is not your father, he has said he would help us, isn't that nice of him?" Cho blushed deeply at the statement of the young girl.

Sakura would not move as the jerky in her hand would fall out landing in the dirt. It’d no longer be fit for consumption as she laid there. She’d regain momentary consciousness to see a young child near her. She tried to stammer she wasn’t okay, but failed and only mumbled instead before falling back unconscious again. Her body was in wretched shape.

Gouki hoped from the tree and landed near Mara and the woman.
"Not really sure sis I guess we just try to help her up and eat." Gouki said as he helped turn her around and sit up.
"Come on miss. This fruit should help you out. Eat it alright?" he said as he held it up to her lips.

"Cut it up for her Gouki-chan!" Mara said as she tried to hold up the woman. "Shake her! If we do then she might wake up! That's what you do to me in the morning! Maybe it will help now!" Mara began to shake, "Is she dead Gouki-chan?" Mara asked with watery eyes.

Suiyobi flew backwards a few feet, the heels of his boots scrapping into the ground as he attempted to steady himself. He had held his arm over his face instinctually, to block the energy. She was visibly exhausted, and apparently distraught. He noticed a repulsion in her face when addressing the corpses. This girl did not do this, judging by her look. "Surely, if you did not kill them, I would not harm you. But I do advise, tell me what part you had in this disaster." he spoke in demand, now standing straight.

"Don't be silly sis I can feel her breathing." Gouki said as he shook her gently. "Besides if she can't bite into the fruit then how will she chew it?"
Gouki again held the fruit up to her mouth and shool her gently.
