"Very well, i hope i can quell your hunger for knowledge." Brut comments as he keeps walking along the road to a small hut where his tools were all stored. grabbing a large basket he straps it onto his back, a single pole with a long spike at its end and a small rake. before he headed into the fields hoping the queen had not gotten to busy when he had left her side.

...she hadn't.
Relena was sitting on a rock next to the feilds waiting for him to get ready and return. Her mind was buzing with the little knowledge she had. She was furious that his family has abandon him like an old wash rag. Her gut told her it was more and something was up!
She leaned up, pulling her chin from the palms of her hands, and straightened her back out. She wondered how her old friend would have respond to this and how he would have like to see his family tree had become. She had a feeling Morti would not have been too amused.

"lingering in the past again M'lady?" Burt asks from behind Reena. as he set down the basket and the few tools he had grabbed from he shed.
"Witch would you rather do? test for moisture? or pull weeds?" HE asks after he had et the basket down and looked out across the field with a long sigh. the sun had risen near its apex and he had yet to get started. Sure the Help of the queen would speed things up a little bit but he knew that he was in for a LATE night today. But at hte same time that vary thought brought a gentle smile to his lips.

"I will work with the moisture problem," offered Relena, "After all, I am bit knowledgable in the areas of the elements."
She saw him smiling, "May I ask why you are smiling?"

"There's going to b a storm to night. I love it when it rains, maybe well even get a bit of lighting." He comments with his grin still on his face as he take the poker and hands it off to Relena. "Poke the round every few steps and check if any dirt comes up with the metal. a little it good, none dry, and if its mud then we'll have to watch for rot."

Relena looked at the poke and then to him before tossing it back to him. "I have my own way...," she said as she waved at him as she passed by.
Her hand shot out before her and the ground rumbled with a roar cried in the picking up wind. "Come forth, Watera!" At her command, the water seeped up through the ground into the air until the shape of serpant dragon about the size of both Brut and Relena floated in the air made purely of water. "Do mind make sure this field get an aquedate water treatment," asked Relena more than ordered. Watera nodded and dived bombed into the middle of the field vanishing as fast as it had appeared.
"Like I said, I have a way with elements," commented Relena once again as she began to walk to the field, surveying it as it began to become moist with water flowing under it in a steady stream.

"And here i thought you were looking for a work out." Brut comments under his breath as he takes the basket around his shoulders once again and heads into he fields. 'The fields did not need to be watered, they get water twie every day once in the morning and once at night. my job is just to make sure that water is getting every where, and in the same amounts. if its not mark where the problems are and fix the when the fields are harvested." He continues speaking clearly and more into he air than to Relena. but he was sure tat she would hear him. honestly he just couldn't understand why she would use her skills in such a waist full way. not much of a excersise if you take a day long task and cut it down to mere seconds. "...What do you want to know miss?"

Relena could see the words clearly on his face. She drawed up her arm away from her side and Watera immediately appeared. The water serpant dragon rubbed her hand affectionally, cooing at her happily, as it decrease in size to the point of being able to fit in her hand. She walked up to Brut, drawing his attention.
"Hold your hand out." She wanted to show him why she did what she did.

"Will you answer my question after i do?" He asks with a half bent smile gripping onto his lips as he stops and faces Relena. Extending his hands calmly he holds his palm upwards. with most of his body relaxed in front of her, Brut bearaly let his eyes drop down to the serpent in her hand before locking on hers. the look too on the appearance of ether wanting to fight or just general curiosity overly filled with passion.

Watera, with a nudge of Relena's finger, slipped out into Brut open palms. Tumbling and cooing like a new born. After untangling itself, it looked up at Brut with large curious eyes and blinked alot, as if it were waiting for something. It cocked it head to side and squeaked at him before rumbing it watery scaled head against one of his thumbs, its tail tapping the bottom of his thumb lightly. It was trying to get him to pet it or give it some kind of attention desperately.
"This is why," spoke Relena as she looked him with expressionless face, "She is alive as either one of us. She feel, can cry or laugh, can eat or drink. Capable of thought and more. Yes, it would be a work out to do things by hand like a human, something I could do easily without care or exhaustion." Relena's gaze shifted to the dragon demanding attention from Brut now as it playfully nipped his thumb impatiently. "However, with them, being so socialize and with the need of having on hands work, I take every chance I get use them. Even something as simple as this." Relena waved her hand out across the field brief before returning it to her side, "I have work outs designed specifically to keep me in shape and on my toes. I even use them then. Those work outs make up for the time I use my dragons for tasks like these. As you know, they are my main asset, and I make sure I have their trust, their graditude, their loyal, and their love at all times, even if it means a lost to me." Relena picked her head up and looked out across the field, "Now do you understand?"

"Don't Take this the wrong way Queen Relena." Brut starts off as he curls his fingers up a little bit giving the young dragon a 'play pin' over his fingers and palm as he kept his eyes locked on Relena. "But in my experience people in high places tend to act for their own interests. i can tell that your dragons care for you a grate deal, an they trust you enough to try and make friends with who ever you entrust them with... but my life is not so simple. nor is it so calm and helpful..." Cutting him self off he retracts his hand towards his stomach before turning back to the fields. he rose his hand up to his shoulder letting the dragon move there as he started getting back to work. he knew that what he was saying made no sense. what did he have to complain about? he had a house all of his own. a job that paid well and a secret life that most people in the human world would die just to feel. but something inside his soul was missing, and he could never figure it out. after five years of hunting for the cure to his illness he was starting to think he was lousing his mind.

Relena walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, holding him in place and not allowing any further movement. She was not looking at him, but out across the field with a sadden expression on her face, "Know this Brut..., a leader with that attitude, that personality and that mind set,...is unable to rule a kingdom like this. That is called a Tyrant not a leader. Even you must know that other Dark Kingdoms have not flourish or prosper as well or got even close, that should say enough. Even my dragons know these simple rules that follow my life by at all times but apparently you don't and you need too." Relena looked at him then, not releasing his shoulder," Rule one: The people, small or large, human or not, sick or healthy, rich or poor, friend or not, commoner or warrior, come first at all times, even above my own life. Rule two: My dragons come in second to rule one. They will always be the most precious things to me but they will alway be second. That is why I give them as much attention as I can, whenever I can, because they know my people come first and must accept that. Rule three: The Kingdom comes in third on my list. Buildings can be rebuild, fields sowed again, storage filled with trades, walls repaired. People can not be, and my dragons certain can't. That is why my dragons are second, untill the kingdom is back up they are need to keep the people safe. While I can make a new one easily, it will never have its past mind or personality, it will be a new one entirely and new start with me. My dragons grow in strenght like you or I. A kingdom can be small as a tree but that little bit can provide security and safety to the people. Finally Rule four: My own life. That is the last thing on my list of priorities. I only keep it in the best of shape so I can insure that the first three rules are upheld at all times and never broken...but that is all it ever will be and perhaps I am shell of what I was before I took this job, but it something I accept...always."
Relena had no family, her own or not, anymore. She only had a few friends, the majority of the people that knew her were like Ben, aquintances. She had no lover or someone to consider safe. Her emotions were always bottle up majority of time and she train constantly so she could control them to perform her duties to her best. Her life was not stop and there were alot of time that she had to leave the kingdom to...vent as you could say...to stay sane for no one could last under that pressure even her. She held all the kingdoms, all the peoples, all the worry related to what reign her touched or brushed up against on her shoulders so no else needed to and could live on happily. That was Relena, someone that had signed her death certificate and engrave her name into her own tombstone, but she was also someone who refused to bury herself in her own grave untill she was sure she wasn't needed anymore or would ever be needed. At least she tried as hard as she could. This was never what the title of leader, ruler, or whatever meant, but was what a good and true protector meant. Someone that tore themselves up and probably would end up killing themselves to insure the safety of what they protected.
Relena straighten then, releasing Brut's shoulder as she did. She was looking around the settlement as it began to come to life. "That is my life. A kingdom such as this can not stand with nothing less. I care not for the kingdom, for as I said, it can be rebuilt, but a kingdom can not stand without its people, but it can stand without its queen as someone else can take that position when and if need be. This title of mine, the Queen of the Fifth Dark Kingdom, the Vampire Kingdom, will be the death of me at some point in time, but I have accepted that a long time ago, with my friends, one of which was Morti, by my side when I stepped up. It has never been an easy job, hobby, goal, reason, what ever you wish to call it, and I will never except it to be, because when it does become easy, I know I have done something wrong, that something is wrong in this kingdom. I never call it my kingdom, as it only belongs to its inhabitants and I will gladly step down if need be and if the inhabitants wish of it." Relena looked at Brut then, like she was staring in his soul, "Whether you, or whoever, accepts that knowledge is up to you or them. I don't particular care how it is viewed or thought upon. That is who I am, who I will always be regardless if I still have this title years from now or seconds from now."
A frown crossed her face as she moved passed him. She would have thought by now that her people would have known her better and her past would have explained itself. Still she did not place blame or hate on them for that was simply who she was. She would give up everything to protect them as long as they wanted it and even not, she still probably would help if she could. "If that doesn't answer your questions then so be it, but I am going to look into this problem of yours, like it or not. It is not simply your own problem as even the smallest things can effect this kingdom and its people greatly. Believe me when I say this...your life is nowhere as ******** up as mine, as demanding as mine, or as shitty as mine. I accept it regardless and choose to be that way...so perhaps you can take some comfort and ease in that as you live on with your life."

"Every one has their own version of hell my queen." Brut comments calmly as he looks over to the dragon as he extends his arm calling a small orb of water to collect in his palm. "Its not my place to demean yours, nor boost mine above yours. Peace is something that escapes my grasp until i do that witch is forbidden of me by the line that your drear friend started... I know of my ancestor. i know he was a grate man. treating his wife like she was a queen worthy of every aspect, and even smiting the vampire demon that lurked inside her soul... but it is that vary aspect that i hold that claimed my mother father and my home from me." Smiling softly the young dragon has slithered down his hand to drink from the pool of water floating in the air.
"... forgive me. im speaking out of place ant turn."

Relena shook her head, "No, you are not speaking out of turn at all. You are very much like Morti. I have no problems with it." She turned to him then, "...but remember those words when you go to judge my actions or beliefs. Know who and what I am. Now...did that answer your prior question, if not please repeat it and I will see if I can answer it better."
Relena extended her hand and Watera immediately floated over to her in a lazy manner. The dragon chirped at her before fading away.

"I believe your majesty that im here to answer your questions not the other way around. please, ask your questions." Brut commetns calmly as he starts walking the rows of wheat looking for any oddly placed plant life or weed and if found plucked them from the ground.
