.:Guardian Journal 2:.
Bovi has been growing up well, meeting new people and making new friends. He's your simple little boy, though I've learned a few things.
Bovi REFUSES to have his hair cut, at least for the most part. He actually threw a fit when I suggested him getting a shorter hairstyle. I finally convinced him to at least get it trimmed so it wouldn't look dead. That seemed to get his attention right quick. Still, his hair is a lot longer then it was when he first grew. He doesn't even have bangs in his face anymore.
Or, almost. There's a small chunk that we died half blue, half yellow. We made extra sure that we dyed one side at a time as to not have any mixing. Bovi was very clear that he did NOT want any green in his hair, and we succeded.
He knows how to cook a little bit now, which is nice to have around seeing as he hardly tires and I'm bushed after a long day at the Thunder Bean.
All in all though there hasn't been much drama with him, which is good

Bovi here! I'm supposed to write about stuff here. Stacie said it was required, so I better just get over with.
Um...I met a lot of friends and a lot of people and I am having my first Christmas and Miss Tizzy taught me how to cook and I met Pol and she is super nice and...

.:Spawn Journal Entry:.
I have pondering, my dear journal, and I have been pondering long and hard, about my demonic side, pride.
Sadly, I never got to meet my DNA father. I had called up to arrange a meeting and the lady on the other end of the line said that I needn't worry about it, and when I asked why she came up with some convoluted excuse before hanging up on me.
How odd, yes, but that's not the point I am trying to get across.
Pride...how is it a sin? Should not one take pride in their achievements, take pride in their accomplishments, take pride in themselves?
I've been observing people as a whole lately, and it seems the older they get, the more they come to hate themselves. It is a sad predicament to be sure, watching these people dig holes into their self esteem because the world around them bombards them with the idea that they are not good enough to be alive, and to use certain things to improve upon their status in hopes of dragging themselves a little farther out out the supposed cesspool they currently wallow in.This world is a sad one, hardly anyone smiles anymore, and killing one's self has become the norm.
This is why I am thankful that I cannot feel this tinge of self loathing, for if I did, I would be just as they, wanting to belong but never truly being there because the world says I am not good enough.
One day I'd like to meet the demon of pride and give him a firm hug if he'd allow it, and thank him for giving me the edge I need to survive in these bleak days ahead with a smile knowing the one thing that the world never wanted me to know.
That I am worth it, that I do deserve to live just by being myself, and perhaps in some way I'll be able to make others believe this as well.
This is now my mission, this is now my goal.

.:Little Shadow pt 1:.
It seemed like a normal day. It started off as one anyway. It was overcast, but warm with a pleasant breeze, so Bovi took it upon himself to go out and enjoy the nice weather, even if there was a chance of rain. He just wore clothing that he wouldn't mind getting wet/ walking around wet in.
He was feeling quite pleased. It wasn't too hot out, though there was a twinge of humidity in the air and while slightly unpleasant, it wasn't enough to make him retreat back into the coolness of his home. No, he was bound and determined to enjoy the day.
As he began to pass the park, however, is when all things went astray. He heard rabble rousing of sorts by people his own age, or perhaps a bit younger. They were whooping and hollering up something awful, the sounds of rocks plinking into the parks lake muffled out by their calls. Normally Bovi would have paid this no mind, except that with these sounds came another, a high pitched shrill that sounded like what ever was making this sound was frightened, so off he went into the park to see what was going on.
What he saw when he got to the lake sickened him. There was this small, odd looking thing clinging to a small umbrella as a few teenage boys threw rocks at the lake. The rocks would splash water, and every time the water splashed up the all black thing would shriek and put up it's umbrella as a shield to defend itself from the spray. It was obvious the little thing was afraid of water, and he could tell that the boys knew this because they hollered and laughed every time the thing shrieked in terror.
"You stop that this instant!" he growled loudly, making the boys look at him. They stared at him for a moment before one rolled his eyes while his other friends laughed.
"Oh, look who's come to the little freak's rescue..." he said in mock fright, holding up his hands in defeat. "What's it to ya scalely? We're busy here as you can plainly see." Another rock was thrown at the small girl shaped thing, but this time, it stopped short of the water. Bovi had caught the rock and peered at it for a moment before closing his fist tightly around it.
"I told you to stop," he commented calmly. "I suggest that you do before..." He paused to open the hand the rock had been resting. As he did so, only dust fell from his palm. "Well, before I do that to your skulls."
That was all the boys needed. They dropped their ammo and darted off, one of them screaming in such a high pitched voice that Bovi couldn't help but laugh at it a bit. How stupid those boys were. That rock he had wasn't even a rock, it was hard dirt, thus why he had been able to crumble it so easily. He then looked at the black thing, who was staring at him wide eyed in what seemed to be amazement.
"You all right little one?" he asked. The thing tilted it's head. "Bop," it replied.
"Um... is that a yes?"
"Bop!" it squealed with delight before skittering over to him and artfully climbing all the way up to his head, where it seemed rather pleased to take roost.
"Wait! I shouldn't take you with me. What if the person you belong with comes looking for you?" Bovi asked, not super pleased with her sitting on his head. He was going to assume it was a her anyway.
She merely wiggled her butt a bit and rapped his head with her hand, as if telling him that he was being stupid. Suddenly, a drop of water fell on her head. She shrieked and up went her umbrella.
It looked to Bovi that he was stuck with this thing...but what on earth was it?

.: Little Shadow pt 2 :.
Ever since his powers of divination have become awakened per say, Bovi had started a lovely little collection of silver plates in which he could practice his craft. He still wasn't a super oracle or anything, but he was getting much better with all the practice he had been putting in at home.
Cassidy, as he had called her, was busy looking around the home, not straying too far from Bovi, seemingly nervous if she got too far away from him. While ever the curious one, after one command from Bovi to her at not touching anything unless he told her to, she kept her hands to herself, clinging onto her umbrella as she peered around the new setting.
Her calmness continued as she watched Bovi go and get a bottle from the fridge, but that calmness vanished as he began to pour the water into one of his silver plates. She ducked behind the couch and put up her umbrella shield, whimpering and sniffling.
"This water isn't going to hurt you Cassidy. I need it so I can find out where to find information about what you are." That didn't seem to make things better as she mearly whimpered a bit more from her hiding place.
Bovi shook his head and peered into the water. A book. There was a book in the Durem library where he would find his answer. He could see the book clear as day. He would have no problems finding it.
"All right little one, let's see what we can find out about you." And with that they were off on an adventure of sorts Getting there was a task in itself. It was still raining outside, and Cassidy seemed to have forgotten about that until the door was opened. She shrieked and ran back into the house. It took some time to find her underneath the kitchen table. She was refusing to move until Bovi reluctantly said that she could ride on his head while they went. So up she climbed and with her umbrella shielding her from the rain, she ushered Bovi forth with a swift kick, but slunk back at the sound Bovi made when she did so. (and she never did that again FYI)
She seemed rather un-phased by the rain now, as if she were more concerned with protecting Bovi from the rogue water droplets. Every time she saw a drop touch him she growled...sorta, and waved her hand at the new wet stop as if trying to scare it away.
Once at the library, Bovi sat her down in the children's section where all the picture books were.
"Now, I'll be right back, I promise. I just need to get the book a need and I'll be right back. That ok?" Cassidy looked at him for a few moments before grabbing a picture book and nodding.
"Bwa," she stated in a manner of factly sort of tone...as she looked at the picture book upside down. Well, it was keeping her busy, wasn't it?
Off Bovi skittered to where he saw where the book was, and it indeed was there. The librarian saw him as he returned and waved him over. "Seeing as you have that book, I assume that little one over there is yours?" she asked, gesturing over to Cassidy who had righted the picture book and seemed rather enthralled.
"Yes, she is...why, did she do something wrong?" The older woman put up her hands.
"Oh no sweetie! A lot of people have been taking a look at that book lately. Here, here's some paper and a pencil. Seeing as it's a reference book you can't take it out of the library, and there's a lot of information that you'll need."
Bovi nodded and went to sit down where Cassidy was and read. All he could tell was that he was in for an interesting ride, that is for certain.

..
Bovi had finally convinced Cassidy that it was safe for her to stay home with Stacie and Ballare. While the shadow had grown on him, he needed time to think, and that was impossible with his literal shadow wanting his attention.
He was going to grow soon, he could feel it in his bones, like every other time he had grown prior to this moment. That's when he realized he didn't know where exactly he was going in his life.
Sure, there was Ebony, the sweet lady he had taken to dating. He cared about her a lot. She was lovely and sweet and they seemed to just connect in a special sort of way, but who knows, she could be growing soon as well, and perhaps with that growth she'd require an older man...or woman. Bovi thought this would be highly unlikely giving just how great of a catch he was, but it was possible, and needed to be considered.
But other then Ebony, he was unsure with what his calling was, and this unpreparedness was making him more nervous then he'd like.
"Pardon me, but may I have a word?" he heard someone ask. He turned his head to see a very proper looking gentleman waving him over, sitting at a table at a cafe. Bovi tilted his head a bit before he walked over and took a seat upon the man's request. The man seemed normal enough, brown hair, brown eyes, glasses, business suit, briefcase. Bovi was curious as to why such a fellow picked him out of the crowd, but he was about to find out.
"I am sorry to be a bother, but are you someone who has an accelerated life span?" he asked, getting right to the point.
"Hm? What do you mean by that?" Bovi asked, baffled.
"My apologies. I am Dr. Nesbit. I've noticed many children in Gaia grow up more quickly then the average human, sometimes going through many age changes in one year when a human it takes 10 years to develop as such. Are you one of these examples?"
"Yes? Why do you ask?"
The man laughed. "I am opening a school for children such as that in the next few months. It'll be more adapting to the children's rapid growth spurts. You seem on the older side, so a school like that wouldn't do you much good education wise, but I thought that perhaps you'd like to apply for a position."
Bovi looked at the man, confused. "I do believe I am a bit young to be a teacher or something like that..." he commented, and the man laughed again.
"But not for very long. Listen, it won't be starting up for a month or so. Here's an application, fax it in with your resume if you decide to apply." The man closed his eyes and all of a sudden he was gone, leaving nothing more but a few pieces of paper and a card with his contact number.
Bovi just looked over the application, and even ate at the cafe of which he had sat down in as he went over it word by word. There was one position that stood out to him
'Guidance Councilor'
It went on to state that the councilor should be stable minded and willing to talk to children to get over issues such as self esteem and life choices. The person in question should be able to become the child's 'best friend' someone they can confide in and talk to if they ever needed help.
This sounded like the perfect plan to Bovi. He was great socially, and other then a few egocentric issues, which weren't really even issues at all if he said so himself, was mentally sound. He tucked the application under his arm and pocketed the card. He would have paid for his food if it wasn't for the fact that it was paid for by someone else.
This just might be the answer he had been looking for.

.:Guardian Entry some number:.
Where does the time go?
My little Bovi is practically an adult now. He'll be moving out any day. Heck, he even has a daughter...sort of...it's more that she adopted him and he couldn't do a thing about it.
He went on a date with a lovely lady too...Ebony I think it was.
Oh, I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it. He's not even two years old technically and he's almost ready to leave the house.
I love my little Bovi, and I'll miss him...

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:
Letter Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following: Guardians Name: Child's Name: Sin: Virtue: Gender: Current Attitude: Likes: Dislikes: Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars ) Current hair style: Current clothing preferences: Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue) Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them? As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs. Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc. Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up. Thank you.
You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.
(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)
