[[ 'ooc If we start, I think we should take it slow... Just post like... Once a day for each character so that this thing stays on the first page, but also gets going. Often times, I watch the best role plays go down because it was never started, you know? Everything's gotta start somewhere, and I'm sure if we get something exciting going, people will get excited too!!
Oh, and Sari, you can just call me Monet or Coco... my entire user name gets rather tiring to type out lol... And I feel so honored that you would consider asking me! Teehee... Anyways, I would love to check it out if you send me a link to the guild or something... Or if you can convince someone in the crew to invite me lol ]]

((Thank you! smile Hopefully it won't take long.They had me waiting for a while,two days!I finally pmed keykayer and I was then accepted. Let's begin!
it was alittle confusing at first because the pm said i was declined or something like that,from joining that guild but when I went to 'my guilds' it was there with the other guilds I joined ^.^First post,here I come!!! biggrin )) Kyoko opened the sidedoor of her house and looked out into the night.What in the world was happening?Behind her she could hear her parents,mainly her father as he tried to fix the tv which had gone into static right in the middle of the news.
"What is wrong with this thing?"He said as he banged his fist on the top of the tv.It was working just fine before!"As her father looked behind the tv and adjusted the antenna.Her mother stood by him.A worried expression on her face."Dear,I don't think it's the tv."She said placing a hand to her throat.
She looked to Kyoko."Kyoko please don't tell me you plan on leaving the house after what the news people said."She said,her dark hair pulled into a ponytail.Her pretty face was without makeup and she wore a simple dress that went down to her ankles along with a apron.She had been cooking when the news came on.
"No I'm just going to take a look outside."Kyoko said as she closed the side door and walked past her parents to the hallway.She wanted to go find Ookami her dog."I'll be right back." she said over her shoulder before disappearing down the hall.
Kyoko ventured to the front of her house and with hesitation opened the front door.Stretched out on the front porch was Ookami looking up at the moon.Kyoko studied his unmoving form."Ookami?"She said."What is it boy?"

"Umm. Don't you think we should talk about this?" The blond haired boy stood in his parents doorway while his dad began loading his shot gun. "What is there to talk about? Something is out there threating our country and I'm not going to stand by and watch." The father shoved the boy out of his way and headed for the door. "But dad..." But the man was already out the door. Soon his mother was behind him. "I'm so glad you didn't turn out like your father. Now watch you sister. I'm going to go talk some sence into him." The boy felt little hands around his leg and looked down to see his little sister. They watched their mother walk out after their dad, never to see their parents again.

The reality of it had hit her hard. The moment the television had lost connection, the disease which had wracked her mother's body for weeks finally got to her... The woman had splurted out blood from her mouth, blaming her daughter for not being smart enough, and finally finished her breath... The life in her eyes escaping not a moment later. And Hikari, whose fingers brushed against her mother's cold face, had been too distracted by the lifelessness that she had only heard her father's yell for help before a large commotion... She had only just turned to see the dark, black figures pulling him away into the night... And then silence. She had not done a thing to prevent any of this...
Silence. Her mother's heavy breathing and raspy voice could no longer be heard, for she was dead. The television had been turned off... Her father's finger had pressed the button after her mother drew her last breath. And her father's sobbing was now gone... Out the door, into the night, to probably never return. And she was merely sitting there...
'You should probably head for safety. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first place it will really hit...' Serena said to Hikari, her worry for the girl overpowering all else. 'If need be, I can come out... I can protect us... And at least get us to safety before anything else happens...' she commented. 'Come on, Hikari... Nothing else can be done about it. We must move fast to warn others...'.
After all, that was Serena's motto, and she lived by it. And on top of that, it was true. No amount of waiting or mourning Hikari could do would bring either of her parents back to her. No... This was the girl's challenge... She had to be alone... Had to fend for herself, or die. And Serena would not allow that.
It had taken a moment, but she finally snaped out of it, realizing the danger she was in, realizing the truth in Serena's words, and nodded. "Okay... Let's... Let's get out of here," she said, her eyes still on her mother's dead body, a tear rolling down her cheek as she grabbed the cloak she had made for this special occasion, and running off into the night, the black cloak hiding her as she moved herself away from the house in which reality had taken its hit against her.

Kyoko looked through the screened door of the porch out into the murky night.She walked up to where her large dog had planted himself and then kneeled down beside him.She whispered into his ear as she stroked her soft head.
"Ookami what is it boy?"She repeated.Ookami looked at her with his yellow eyes.His black tail thumped against the floor as he waved it.He seemed pretty normal but the way he had been staring up at the moon said something totally different.
She cocked her head to the side and then patted his nose."Well you seem okay so I guess that's good enough for me."She stood up and walked up to the screened door.Ookami getting up and following her.He sat at her feet while she looked through the screen.
Kyoko squinted out into the darkness,she couldn't see anything so far.But the news said right before the tv went into static something about creatures roaming the city.They'd probably be attacking people really soon."What has this world come to?"She said out loud looking to Ookami who sat quietly at her feet.Ookami whined and wagged his tail again cocking his head to the side.
Kyoko smiled at him looked through the screen and was about to turn away and lead him back into the house when she saw something in the distance coming to what looked like toward her house."The the hell...?"She said and leaned forward hoping to get a better look.These black creatures were crawling toward her house making their way across the grass.
Although they seemed to be crawling they were moving at a high speed,as fast as a person running. "Oh my god.."She said and began to back up."Mom dad lock the doors and windows there's....She was cut off by a loud crash.
The house felt like it was rumbling and Kyoko stumbled and nearly ran into a wall.Ookami went crazy and started barking."Ruff Ruff ruff ruff ruff!"He went and stared running around then toward the wall knocking down the front door.Kyoko held out a hand and started to chase him back into the house."Ookami no!" She screamed and quickly ran down the hall.
She slid to a stop and with wide eyes looked up at the ceiling of their house their was a huge hole and from within the house she spotted the maker of the hole.
A giant creature with sticky black skin the size of the incredible hulk could be seen through the hole.His skin looked like it was alive as it's sticky black skin moved in waves along his arms.It's mouth opened wide as he let out a horrifying roar.
Where it's eyes used to be there was nothing but two black pits.Kyoko froze in her tracks.Oh no...

Korsu sat on his bed in the middle of his brightly lit room. His head was in his hands, he was resisting the urge to cry. He sniffed when he looked up, remembering what happened a few hours ago. His dad had said he was going out to pick his mother up from work. A few minutes after his dad had left he heard an ear wrenching scream. He had bolted up into his room after locking the door and had been sitting on his bed since then.
'Come on Korsu. Move it. We must get to safety, this house isn't safe enough.' Fujiya said from within the confines of Korsu's mind.
Korsu shook his head as he sniffed again. "I don't want to! It's dark outside! Besides. It's safer in here than out there!" he said aloud, not bothering to stay quiet because he was now the only one in the house.
'Move it now or I will take over and I wont promise to let you come out again.' Fujiya threatened. 'And don't forget the kodachi. You will have to protect yourself at least some of the time.'
Korsu hung his head as he got off of the bed and drug his feet over to where he kept the kodachi. He opened the draw and grabbed it lightly. Holding in his left hand he then shut the drawer once more. He walked out of his room and then stopped infront of the door to the outside. Whimpering, he opened the door and peeked out. Not seeing anything he stepped outside, shaking as he then started down the street at a light jog, jumping at any slight noise, trying his best to avoid the darker parts of the street. Fujiya sighed internaly at Korsu's behavior, knowing that he'd never be able to change his behavior.

The two of them stood there in silence for a moment before the little girl coughed. The boy sighed. "Come on then Sara. Time for bed. You still aren't any better and you shouldn't be out here in your pj's." The boy picked up Sara and took her to her room. When she was tucked in and he had turned to leave she spoke. Her voice sounded weaker and softer than it had earlier that day. "Thomas will you stay here with me tonight?" Thomas hesitataed by the door. Finally he walked back over to the chair their mother had placed by Sara's bed and sat down. "Of course Sara. Now try to sleep ok?" Sara nodded and turned away, falling into a fitful sleep. Thomas leaned back in the chair and felt his eyes closed even though he was far from tired. Thats when he first made the discovery.
Oh sleepy head, Oh sleepy head. And how the hell did I end up here.
Thomas opened his eyes quickly but didn't see anyone. Sara coughed but other than that it was silent. Untill...
No silly head...I'm not physically any where near you. In in here...in your mind. Duh!
Now Thomas was throughly freaked out.

HIkari's feet fell softly against the pavement, something she had taught herself to do... Be silent. Too much noise was bound to attract whatever it was that was out there, and she didn't want to be in an eve worse situation that she was in already. Lucky enough for her, it seemed those beings were going toward light and sound more so than they were prone to merely stay in the dark.
'Hikari...' Serena said softly, the girl's voice ringing in Hikari's head. Serena understood well how difficult it had been for HIkari to get used to the fact that she would probably never be truly alone again, and although it could be a comforting thought, both, indeed, had to make sacrifices. 'There is someone coming...' she commented.
Hikari's strage colored eyes shone beneath the hood that covered her face, bathing it in shadow, as she spotted, not too far ahead, a small figure running alone... Seemingly, that of a boy whom she might have tutored in the middle school. Unsure, she kept her stance defensive as she approached.

Tom sighed as he was trying to find himself somewhere to sneak in for tonight but at this rate he would sooner be attacked if he couldn't hurry and find a spot to crash. "Worthless idiots...everyone around me." He mumbled hatefully. His alter ego was waiting for any sign of danger to be near, if needed he would help get Tom to safety at least. Tom or Gold Fist as he likes being called eventually made his way behind someones house, Crowbar in hand he was going to force his way into wherever he can sneak into, maybe someones woodshed.

Kyoko looked around in a panick."Mom! Dad! Ookami where are you?!"She shouted over the roars of the creature but there was no response.Kyoko swore under her breath and stumbled as the whole house shook.The creature pulled it's arm back and then shot it's arm out in a smooth punch.
She ran over to one of the walls and picked up her bow.Her heart pounding,her throat dry.She turned and then a huge hole appeared.The creature was attacking the house pounding and punching at it.
Mainly her,Kyoko flew back as it assaulted once more nearly hitting her.She ran down the hall searching for somebody,anybody."Ookami where are you?!"She cried desperately.Then turned and raised her bow.She took out a arrow and stretched it along the string trying her best to focus.
The creature let out another blood-hurling cry and spit out the black sticky stuff.Kyoko stood and watched bemused only snapping out of it when the black muck formed into creatures that ran towards her.
She pulled the string harder nearly panicking as they ran toward her and with the narrow hallway you could not go around them all you could do was retreat.
Perspiration popped out on her head and she wiped it away with her sleeve.C'mon Kyoko you can do this you've used this bow plenty of time what makes this any different?She squinted her eyes as she tried to calm her heart beat but her arms were shaking and so were her legs.
She couldn't seem to let the arrow go,to let the string go due to her not being sure of it accuracy.It probably wouldn't hit the mark with her not being able to calm down and aim right.Suddenly a voiced talked to her in her head.Kyoko's eyes widened slight but the remained on the causers of the dilema she was now facing.
'We play?Lemme out Kyoko chan I'll play with them!I wanna play! Lemme me play with them Kyoko!Pretty please with sugar on top! I promise I'll go easy' Kyoko 's eyebrows scrunched together in confusion."Miyako?"

Thomas was seriously freaking out. But how....what? He heard a sigh. I'm not entirely sure. The last thing that happened was that student was standing over me with his sword...
The memory played in Thomas's head. It started out with a noise but it was black. Slowly, as if opening ones eyes, a face came into view. "I knew you'd be the one to do something like this. Go ahead." Thomas recognized this voice as the one in his head. The boy raised his sword and down it came. Thomas heard the voice gasp. Then everything was black again.
Then I find myself here...this isn't heaven or hell is it? Thomas shook his head. Great.... Thomas freezes and strains his ears to listen. But he couldn't hear anything for the growling that the voice started making. Introductions later....Somethings coming and I'm your best bet.

It took Shizuma about a week to get to Miyuki on foot from the city of Tomogsashi. She only stopped in maybe three towns to rest, shower, and of course get a bite to eat. So she made good timing. "Can't wait to see the look on my mom and dads faces!" Shizuma exclaimed outloud, clapping in excitement.
"You'll probably get scolded for not visiting for a whole year..." Akako added in a bored voice.
"Oh shut up they'll understand. I'm a busy gal you know," she pouted. Akako said no more, but she knew what he was thinking. If spoken he would have said, "So busy that you have time to travel about? Blah blah blah."
He knew very well that he didn't have to say anything to piss Shizuma off cause she knew exactly what he was thinking. He usually kept his remarks to himself to save himself from an even angrier Shizuma. This is how the two interact most of the time. Silent snide remarks to avoid the wrath of Shizuma Sayo.
Shizuma walked down the dimly lit street unknowingly of the danger that faced her. Everything was eerily quiet except for the distant cries...
Wait, hold up. Cries? Something was wrong with this picture. Shizuma continued with caution, questioning her sanity for a moment. "I hear it too.."
"Well of course you hear it! You hear what I hear!" Shizuma thought, annoyed by his pointing out of the obvious. Akako cackled to sound of her annoyance. "I hate you."
"I know."
Her wind chimes rustled as the wind blew eerily. This wasn't right at all. This wasn't Miyuki. It looked like Miyuki, but it couldn't be. More cries made Shizuma's heart pound violently against her chest. A red flag popped into her head. "Mom and Dad!" she exclaimed, sprinting down the street.
Suddenly something like a shadow popped up in front of her, making her come to a clumsy halt. The shadow like creature let out a ear splitting shriek. "What the heck?" Shizuma questioned, covering her ears. "Toto, I dont think we're in Kansas anymore."
"This is no time for jokes, Shizuma. Watch out!"
Shizuma looked up and a dark claw was coming down on her. "Oh sh-"
She was barely able to roll away from the threatening claw. Her green eyes now flashed a fuchsia color in alarm. This was for real, it was time to get serious. Shizuma swiftly got back on her feet before the creature had a chance to strike her while she was down. She pulled her katana out from its sheath and struck at the slashing claw that came at her again. The creature let out shriek of pain, but that didn't stop it from coming at Shizuma again. "Your no match for me,"Shizuma said, sending a couple of bricks into its open mouth with her telekinesis while slashing at the claw, defensively. The creature stopped slashing, it was apparent that it was chocking on the bricks. "Too much to chew?" she questioned, confident that she had won. Again, Shizuma was wrong. It started spitting the bricks back at her. Shizuma raised her hands stopping the bricks before they hit her. One by one she tossed them back at the creature, but the sly being was able to dodge them and knock Shizuma on her butt with one swift blow. It sure packed a punch because it knocked the breath out of her. Holy crap...
Shizuma jumped back on her feet and lunged at the creature with her katana. Shizuma obviously hit the right spot for the creature was now on the ground shrieking and squirming violently.
"Finish it."
Shizuma did as she was told, striking the creature once more till it was silent. "That's how its done," Shizuma breathed, rubbing her hands together before grabbing a cloth from her bag to clean her sword off. Must hurry there's most likely more then one. With that thought Shizuma ran the rest of the way to her parents house.
