My father's told me Iran's antisemitic sentiments are all a cover up. (At least there government hides behind the cover, don't know about the people.)

He told me for about three hours that Iran wants to pal around with all the other Arabic countries and look like they support the Palestinians when really they couldn't care less.
Apparently they're creating weapons of mass destruction to intimidate their neighbors to bow before them and have huge spheres of influence in the Middle East and become a world power with all that oil. A Neo-Babylonian Empire if you will.

That's all according to my dad but he's not a completely reliable source seeing as how he hates Arabs and hates Persians even more.

Sounds like a good fiction novel though.

I'm noticing a theme here. This thread is quietly becoming the b***h session on religious and political groups we don't care for.

I'm not sure this is the best avenue.

Most people in this guild do have certain... views on religious/political groups that we, sometimes rightly, don't care for.

How come when I tried to stop Christian bashing on "We all need a good laugh," I didn't get the same results?

As stated, we all have our opinions, some of them are unpopular.

I'm cool with Catholics; sure they've got... a past... but they've reformed a lot since Vatican II and I tend to find most Catholics to be very reasonable, intelligent, and accepting people.
This might be because I was Catholic before I decided to go Jew but still, you can feel the tradition in Catholic Churches and they came first.
Protestants are either weird with their Christian approach, fanatical, lazy, or just flat out venomous.

When I tell people that I'm converting to Judaism the Catholics give me a thumbs up because they say that it's like the Grandpappy religion of Christianity and they've got nothing but respect for the Jewish people but the Protestants throw a Christian Bible at my face and give me a pep talk about Jesus...
Tell me I'm wrong and I'm going to hell and you better stick with JC before I convert and doom my soul, blah, blah, blah!

Every Christian branch is different in beliefs and practices and every Protestant church is different.
(You could probably go to two different Baptist church and you'll get two different responses.)

Catholics tend to be pretty consistent.
