Relena closed the book in front of her before turning back to Gwen. "Do you know what that eggs means Gwen? What it means to you if you are indeed the unborn rider," questioned Relena slowly. She lean the back of her tighs against the table behind her, crossing her arms over her chest, "Do understand the life it bring, forcefully, into your currently life now. That it will destory destory what life you have now. It is not something you can ignore or attempt to forgoet!"
Could Gwen understand just what came with the egg in her hands? Was she able to comprend, truely comprend!

Gwen bit her lip. She knew the consequences of being a rider. She just wasn't sure she was ready for them. "I have no living family. I know what the consequences are if I truly am this unborn dragon's rider. I would be the only one hurt if this ends badly for me," she finally said. She had though long about this, she had no current life then new dragon could force it's way into. Her being this dragon's rider would give her a chance to start over, have a new life.

Relena waited patiently for Gwen to make up her mind as she fought with the choices in her mind. Relena remember this battle all to well, however, she wasn't given the chance to make up her mind or given the time. She pull roughly into it and learn to accept. Still, Relena thought back to her beautiful red dragon when they were two seperate beings, she didn't mind it so much once she was allowed to relax and think later.
"If you know of the consquences and results that could come from your decision," said Relena aloud after a few minutes, "then...do you accept what will come with this egg?"

"Yes, I do," she answered, her mind made up. She then wondered what to name the dragon once it hatched.

Depsite Relena's defeated spirit and depressed mental state, a smile graced her lips and her face lite up for a moment. She remembered the first time she met Silfer when she hatched. That small flesh bag of scales couldn't stand up right with our her aid and those large black ords called eyes. Relena rose from the table but stiffened for a second.
"A spell," throught Relena, "Puppetry...?" She tryed to quickly track it down, her weaken state failed to track it successfully. Perhaps she should have allowed herself to slowly die just yet.
Relena looked down at Gwen and smiled, "Very well then...lets see if you are that eggs rider shall we." Relena walked over to Gwen and grabbed one of her hands. She placed Gwen right hand on top of the egg that now rest in Gwens left one. "Concentrate. Search for your dragons name, after all we do not name them. They already have a name given to them through their genetics. Dragons are reborn, each able to remember their pasted lives knowledge that they attain. Their name is etneral and carried on as long as their they reborn and hatch. A dragon never truely dies unless something happens to them while they are in an egg. However, do not mistake this as well to find your dragon once again after it has fallen. Reborn or not, each dragon is different and its own, given a new life and existences. Only knowledge is remember. Understand?"
Relena moved away as Gwen began to do as she was told. "Oh, this might hurt...a bit...just so you know." Relena bit her lip to hold back a snicker as Gwen looked up at her a bit surprised and worried as the egg began to glow where her right hand rested.
"Call its name out," hollered Relena to distract Gwen from what she previously said. It was time to see if Gwen was indeed the egg rider or not. If she was the hatchling rider it would give its name to her so she may called out it and have the mark of the rider be place somewhere on her body. This mark would mark the union of the dragon and the rider and mark her as a true dragon rider. The mark would also burn like hell as it burn itself into her skin, muscle, and bone. At least she had a warning, sort of. Relena didn't have one before. Now that Relena thought of it, perhaps it would have been better not to say anything.
It would take between two days to a week for the egg to hatch as the bonding process came to end.
Now...would the hatchling tell her how to stay its name...or would it remain silent ot her.

Gwen nodded that she understood. "Kaida. My name is Kaida," something said in the back of her mind. "Kaida," Gwen said aloud. As soon as she said the name her entire body began to burn. The mark of a rider was being burned into her skin.

Relena balance herself on her right hip as she watched the joining of a newborn dragon and its rider. Once finished, Relena walked over to Gwen and outstretched her hand to help her up, "I suppose congratulations are due...dragon rider..."

"Thanks," she said as she took Relena's outstretched hand. As she examined herself, she saw that a blue dragon now covered her body. "That must be my mark then," she thought aloud.

Relena stood their blinking for a moment. The mark was by far bigger than she ever seen. Perhaps it would srink...hopefully. A mark of that size would not be easy to hid from unwanted eyes.
However, Relena nodded her head, "Yes. A mark shape in the form of a dragon. Most cases the mark adorns the palm of the hand, however, more offend than not it adorns another part of the bodies to remain hidden."
Relena hope Gwen didn't mind being dress from head to toe with the mark she had. She doudted there was a spell or incantations that could keep from the viewing public.

She looked herself over once more then said, "I'm use to always wearing long pants and a jacket, so hiding it shouldn't be a problem." She picked up her backpack and asked, "Is there somewhere I can change? I have pants and a long sleeve shirt in my backpack."

"Very well," muttered Relena as she gave the mark another look over once again. Perhaps that old world was really trying to put up a fight after all.
Relena pointed to the egg that rested on the floor were it had fallen due to the pain that previously coursed though Gwen body. It had fallen from her hands when the mark formed on her body. "The egg should hatch before the end of the week. Normally it takes two days to a week to hatch once the bonding process has begun. When it hatchs, the bonding process is over." Relena suddenly walked over to Gwen and towered over her, her eyes looked as if they were looking into young girls soul inself.
"I don't have to tell you keep this secret do I...correct..."
((Have to go...night.))

((Ok, night.))
"No, of course not. I won't breathe a word about this to anyone," she answered her. I have to wait a week to see my dragon? Oh well, I'm sure it will be beautiful, if the egg is to judge by, she thought as she picked up her egg.

Four days passed by before the egg hatched.
Relena tipped her head back across the arm of the sofa she currently laid in as Gwen came rushing in. The girl was panting trying to recatch her breath once again. She had her hand outstretched, holding a bag that was bulging out every other second. Something was obviously shifting about.
"Yes..., what's wrong," question Relena as she looked at the bag clueless as to why Gwen rushed into the Spire to get her attention on it. "Shouldn't you been watching your egg and tending to it as I told you to do so"

"I... was," she panted, " when it hatched." A little dragon head popped out of the top of the bag. "You told me to come see you as soon as she did." Gwen had regulated her breathing and let Kaida out of her carrying pouch.
Kaida was slightly smaller the normal hatchlings, but she was still as energetic and curious. She wondered around the room. Sniffing books shelves, and jumped on the couch to look at Relena.

Relena uncrossed her legs and pulled them under her as the young dragon glazed up her. "So this is Kaida," muttered Relena. The dragon jumped up and down at it name being said before jumping into its riders arms. Relena looked over to Gwen and smiled, "So, how does it feel to be rider and a mother for the next few months...?"
