Glancing to her fingers, Phoebe saw the Persian being rather affectionate. She wasn't as well rounded with feline Pokemon as she was with canine Pokemon, but she had heard that cat Pokemon usually were a bit of attention whores. "Are ya jealous yer not getting any lovin'?" the breeder asked as she gently moved her hands around to scratch behind the big cat's ears. She definitely didn't mind giving attention if she was able to. And with Dakota being distracted, her hands were free for at least a few moments.

The puppy Pokemon was blissfully ignorant that she had been somewhat insulted just now. However, she was a simpleton who was having her paws rubbed. The world was a good place. She was happy enough to simply show off her teeth in a puppy smile.

That was until she attempted to get up and tumbled backwards. With a bit of a grunt, she scrambled to get back onto her paws. At the very least, Phoebe glanced back to the Growlithe. "Yer a clumsy girl, aren't ya?"

Not moving her hand from the petting motion, she glanced up to the doctor. "Yeah, but it ain't too bad t'figure out things for myself. I've yet to get lost 'ere." She chuckled a bit, wondering if any fool could actually get lost in such a well organized town. "And, I came 'ere t'set up shop. Ma and Pa had their puppy ranch over in Hoenn, and though I like canine Pokemon as much as the next person, my calling is elsewhere in the breeding world." She didn't explain much further yet, solely because people could sometimes care less and just ask things to be polite. People were hard to judge at times, so she usually left the option up, just in case the person didn't want too much information.

It was then Dakota realized that Phoebe was giving lots of attention to the big kitty, which obviously meant she wasn't getting the attention. The Growlithe walked up to Phoebe and pushed her nose against her free hand, as if going "My turn, please!"
