"Brick Break!" Renekai said, thinking that this would be the final command.
Evelyn shook off the weak attack, then retaliated with one of her own. The food would be hers!

Kiru was flipped up from the Brick Break and landed with a thump on the ground, sleeping peacefully. Finally, sleep!
Messa cooed towards her Pokemon and rushed over towards him. She cried. She didn't like seeing her Pokemon beat up! She was never going to battle again! Cradling Kiru in her hands, she stamped her foot towards the direction of Ren and glared through her tears. "Meanie!" she called as she ran off to try and find a way to wake Kiru up.

Renekai stared open-mouthed as Messa, a trainer she didn't even know, began to cry. When she called her mean and fled out of the stadium, she felt bewildered. Obviously, the other trainer was not used to battling. Oh well. "Come on, Ev! We're headed to the pokecenter, and then to get you some food!" Renekai pulled out Evelyn's pokeball.
Ooh! Food! Evelyn splashed around the wet sand excitedly until the red beam of light sucked her away.
In a way, Kiru and Evelyn both got what they wanted.
