"Entirely necessary." She nodded as she swatted the other's paw away with her own, tail ticking back and forth behind her with amusement. "What better way to lighten a mood... And she seemed to like me more for it." She smirked, cocking her head in the direction that Kichaa had walked off in. "Wasn't the whole point of this to impress her into wanting us here?"

"She'd like you anyway, you're purple." She huffed slightly as she tried not to smile. "And getting her to like you didn't have to involve embarrassing me in front of her. She's been nagging at me to find a mate for ... ever." She just hadn't bothered ever because she was well, her.
"IT's just harmless fun. It's not like she threw you in the mud." She grinned as she turned to pad off though the leaves. Her grin widened when she heard Jini give an indignant squeak at the idea.

"I believe she had embarrassed you before I even said anything... I just took what she said and went with it." She nodded as she pushed herself back up onto all fours. "I believe you were given the task of showing me everything I want to see? We should probably get a start on that while there's still light... Perhaps you can tell me a bit more about this place come nightfall."

"You could have just ... not gone with it." She shook her head as she decided to show her companion around the grove first. She could show her the other parts of the pride after that and most likely b then it would be dark and they would have to find somewhere to nest for the night

"I could have... But it was the easiest way to get what I wanted." The look on her face was more smile than smirk now, even if a teasing glint was still in her eyes. Hopefully Jini would forgive her... Or at least think less of it by evening. If the night was as cool as the shade of the trees suggested it might be it would be nice to have someone to curl up with.
