"Tail's awesome. Bio-mother Charna has one..." 'Zuba said, confused. "Why sad?" she asked, frowning slightly. Had it been something she said? "Sorry." she said, sure that it had to have been something she'd done or said. "Happy now?"
"No, Momma's not here." Nataya said, sighing. "'Zuba's gone missing...Momma's out looking for her."

Vinny frowned, slightly confused. "Bio-mother?" He repeated. "Who's Charna?" He forced a smile. "You won't play." He wondered if it was because he had a tail. Maybe she thought she shouldn't play with him because he had a tail?
Ben sighed. "Nattie, is there any way you can contact your mother?" He asked. "I know where 'Zuba is. In fact, she's here with me."

"Charna is Envy." 'Zuba said, as if it explained everything. She then frowned. "I play..." she said, motioning to the swings. She then looked down. "Sorry..." she said, feeling bad that she'd made the younger boy feel sad. "Smile?" she asked, knowing his current one was fake.
"I'll call her on her cell phone." Nataya said, sounding relieved. "Where are you?"

Vinny was still confused, but he tried to look like he understood. "Oh," he said. "You know your parents? Mommy says I'll meet mine soon, when I'm bigger." He paused. "Want to go on the slide?" He asked, looking at her. Maybe if she didn't like the swing, she would like the slide. He smiled at her, getting off the swing.
Ben smiled, "We're at the park. Vinny's keeping her busy. Tell her not to worry, I'm watching her."

'Zuba nodded. "Met one. Meet other later." She smiled slightly, nodding. "Slide. Fun." she said, hopping off of the swing and landing on her feet with the same grace as a cat. "To slide." she said, before jogging towards it, making sure Vinny could keep up.
"Alright." Nataya said, her smile almost making it's way through the phone. "Thank you, Mr. Sadril!"

Vinny smiled, he liked the idea of meeting his parents. They wouldn't be the same as Mommy and Daddy, but maybe they could teach him games. He followed her to the slide. "You go first." He said politely.
Ben could almost hear Nataya's smile. "No problem Nattie," He said, "Just have your mom meet us here."

'Zuba shook her head, motioning Vincent ahead of her. "First." she said, smiling lightly. After all, he had a tail, which made him better, which meant he should get to slide first. Atleast, that's how her logic had it figured out, anyways. "Slide second." she explained, pointing to herself.
Nattie murmured another thank you before hanging up to call her mother.

Vinny shook his head. "Ladies first!" He insisted, quoting something his father liked to say. She was a girl, and girls went first. That was the rule. Vinny liked following the rules. Daddy was always saying how polite he was. "I go second." He added.
Ben shut his phone and turned it on vibrate.

Her, a lady? 'Zuba did her best not to laugh. "You first. Got tail and two wings." she said, smiling a little at the younger boy. She only had one earwing, and no tail, so he definately was better, which meant he should go first! She then got an idea. "Same time?" she suggested, figuring that would settle the issue.

Vinny smiled at her suggestion. "Okay, we'll go at the same time." He said. He sat down, and waited for her to do the same.
Joshua was getting bored of waiting for his father to pay attention to him, so he went over to the slide. "Can I play too?" He asked. Maybe he'd make friends with 'Zuba after all.

'Zuba sat down, trying her best not to squish the other boy. The slide definitely wasn't made for two people. She glanced as Josh, simply shrugging. He could join in if he wished; she obviously didn't care. "Count three?" she asked, looking back to Vinny.

Vinny nodded. Though he had only just recently learned to count, he was eager to impress his new friend. "Kay. One.. two... three!" He said, sliding, and dragging her with him. He looked up at Joshua. "You can play too." He said smiling at him. Maybe they could have a race. Or something fun.

'Zuba wore a small smile, though inside, she had already decided that sliding was not meant for two people. But, the boy seemed to have had fun, so she didn't say anything about it. She stood up, straightening her hoodie down. "Fun?" she asked, looking to the younger boy.

Vinny looked up at 'Zuba. "Yeah! Did you?" He asked. "Want to do something else?" He added. Maybe they could play tag, or hide n seek, or something you could win at. Vinny wasn't very good at hide n seek, his tail always gave him away.
Joshua slid down the slide. "Let's play tag!" He said.

'Zuba looked at the boy, smiling a little. "Yeah." she said, not completely lying. She put a finger to her lips, thinking. "Tag." she agreed, nodding once; the running would help her stay warm.
