D's Left Hand is called either "Left Hand" or "The Curious Carbuncle" and he seems to know much more history then even D when it comes to the King of the Vampires ; Dracula. I believe D's parasite may have worked for Dracula and could have been a loyal retainer to the great Vampire God at one time; but when D was born or when he was masterfully created by the great ancestor, the Curious Carbuncle may have seen the awesome potential in serving the young Prince who could prove to be most entertaining to attach oneself to. So he could have made a deal with D at a very early time. D recognized that the Curious Carbuncle was a parasite but that he had many powers and knowledge that a wise Vampire Hunter could benefit from: Including insight into how to kill ones own Father... ^.^ D both hates and is dependent on his Left Hand now. He does have the ability to give life back to D and even perform great feats for defense and spell breaking.

In Vol. 3 of the Demon Deathchase we learn a little bit about what Left Hand is and how his kind work. He describes Mashira's former parasite as being almost of a lesser pedigree of symbiont. D's Left hand, has the ability to go in and eat up this breed of Carbuncle because of it.

(excerpts: pg. 163) "All his little pals look the same." D left hand stated. "What's more, they've got a collective consciousness. The thoughts of one are immediately transmitted to the others. These things can be a real pain in the a**." "Why would it infect her?" Asked D. "Out of lechery, pure lechery. These critters have a appreciation for beauty and finer things. On top of that, the dirty little bastards enjoy sex through the senses of the humans they inhabit. I imagine that's what he wanted to use her body for."

D's left hand may not be too far different since he chooses to stay with D, because he recognized a truly fine thing. ^__^ But being apart of a creature like D, he may have evolved into a stronger form of a Carbuncle? But I think he has prior history in the Kings service.

Hehe, just like bath time, D must have needs. I think that he denies it a lot though, because he fears being overcome with blood lust so he might never share his bed with a woman. But his left hand does seem to be a sleazy old pervert when talking about certain female body parts. D tends to pride himself on his self control and dignified conduct especially in front of others. I'm sure he would probably be extremely turned off and uncomfortable engaging in some sex act while his left hand chuckled away with the voyeurism. Poor D, he maybe ultimately a virgin. No wonder he is said to be the most cursed. And his left hand will always be there to make fun of what he is as well.

I can just imagine hearing his nasty comments and murmurings with that hoarse old man's voice of his. D could put a glove on him or something, but that guy can see through anything and will scan the situation easily. If you don't mind a freshly cut off wrist, maybe D will cut him off for those special moments? But um... thats not a turn on. Poor D indeed. I don't even want to imagine what it's like when D goes to the bathroom. >.<;

aliens parastes from outerspace came and tryed to get into his head...
or he lost his hand in battle and the parasite offered to become his hand in return for something we know not yet.
but thats just a guess.. ^^;;
