Meg heard her computer ding. She checked it and saw it was from Andrew. She didnt like this but the more she thought about it the more she realized that maybe this wasnt a prank. She looked out the window and noticed the snow was higher than yesterday. 'this cant be good' she thought then returned her attention to the screen.
She began to type: Andrew what if this isnt a prank. What if something happened and everone was affected except us.... Im sceard Andrew... I dont know what is going on.... I think me, you, Casey and Marissa need to get together. Do you think that would be possible?

Andrew read the message on his screen and paused to think. Part of him wanted to blow off her fears and tell her it was impossible for a day to just repeat itself. But he'd feel like a p***k if he upset her, so he'd have to address it in a different way. Finally he decided on the following:
Marissa and I are going to that horror movie that hits the theater today. You know, that cheesy holiday one? Why don't you come with us? You could ask Casey along. Movie theatres can't afford to play stupid pranks; everything will be fine once we get there.

Meg looked at the screen awaiting Andrews reply. She didnt realize she was holding her breath untill he responded. She read the message and typed on her computer:
Ok. That sounds like a good idea. I'll call Casey and tel her where to meet us. Im going to leave Dan here because he is in on this. See ya in a few.
Meg sent the message and shut her computer. She ran to her closet and picked out her jeans and a light blue sweater that makes her eyes stand out and put some make up on. She walked down the stairs and kissed Dan goodbye telling him she needed to tell her friends the good news. She called Casey from her cell and left a message on her voice mail telling her to meet them at the movies. When she got there she waited for the rest of her friends.

"Awesome. Tristan and I will leave the house asap, you need us to pick you up along the way?" she asked Andrew. Seeing as it was still the holidays she figured it would be nice seeing as there was so much snow on the ground anyways. She couldn't believe still what a white Christmas it had been. The snow was still piling up, and soon it would more than likely reach her brother's bedroom window.
Marissa and Tristan lived just across town, close to the movie theater, and seeing as she was just visiting her parents she figured she'd had enough of this repeat Christmas farce. As she talked on the phone she went back down the stairs and gathered up the rest of her gifts as she waited for Andrew to answer her.

(thanks for leaving me a way in biggrin )
After her call with Andrew, Casey had been busy trying to talk sense into Sam. She'd tried to get her parents to crack, but they were too good at games like this, so she had to wait out the whole opening presents thing again before she could really bug Sam.
Her threat to walk to his place was not so far fetched. She walked to his place all the time, the only inconvenience now being that it was snowing. It took a lot of placating to get her parents to allow it, and then she had to suffer through snickers about Sam being her boyfriend. Whatever. She had her phone, so they could call her when they decided the prank was over.
Speaking of her phone, on the way to Sam's, she picked up Meg's message. There was no time for that now-- not when she had to fuss out Sam.
When Sam answered the door, Casey could see that his parents were going all out too. She was starting to get a twisting feeling in the pit of her stomach. Her thoughts flashed back to the gifts she had unwrapped yet again that morning. Every thing about them-- the wrapping paper, bows she thought she'd ripped up the morning before-- was the same. Sam's parents had done the same thorough job.
"I... I just," she stammered, realizing that he was waiting for her to speak. "I came to wish you a Merry Christmas."
He beamed, and she wasn't sure if it was a ha ha, I got you smile, or a boyfriend smile. She forced a smile of her own as he wished her a Merry Christmas back and invited her in.
She couldn't make herself step inside. She couldn't revisit Christmas once again. "Actually, um, wanna go to a movie?" The idea put a real smile on her face, and on his. At the movies, there'd be a bunch of sane people who knew it wasn't Christmas any more, and Sam would be outnumbered.
Sam rushed back inside to ask his parents. He had no idea what he was getting into.

"Yeah... come to think of it, with the snow piling up like it is I could use a ride." Andrew admitted and went to his curtain to peer out. That was the most normal thing about today. No one had shoveled away yesterday's snow and hidden it or anything equally ridiculous; the new snow was falling right on top of the old and getting higher. "I just invited Meg to come along too and she might be bringing Casey. We will move en masse. I'll see you when you get here, okay?" Andrew sifted through his clothing for something both clean and warm. A Herculean task, but he managed to pull it off somehow.

Marissa smiled as she rummaged through her bag of clothing for something to wear. She only had a clean shirt, and there was no way she was wearing the same pants she'd worn for now two days. She couldn't wear the jeans with the hole in the butt either. "Well, alrighty then. I haven't seen Casey in a while so this will be lots of fun." she said. " Do you think she'll bring Sam too? I wonder if he's in on this whole 'It's Christmas' prank? Oh well. Our little entourage will be just what we need to get this stupid s**t out of our minds." she said laughed. "See you in like 20 minutes or so." she said, and hung up the phone.
Calling down to Tristan, Wyatt and Drake came up screaming followed closely by her fiance. "HELP US RISSA! HE'S GONNA TICKLE US!" they shouted as they ran behind her for protection. "Avast ye mangeie scoundrel! You'll not be ticklin' my broths shall I still be round!" She said pirate style as she pulled a rolled up newspaper from her computer desk. "It'd be a hanging or the Davy Jone's Locker fo ya if ye do not proclaim parlay, and let these boys take them to their Captain." she winked to inform him she was the Captain.

Andrew made a bit of a face when Marissa asked about Sam. That guy... well, it wouldn't matter. There really wouldn't be anything he could say when they got to the theater and, lo and behold, the movie was playing. "See you then." Andrew agreed before hanging up the phone. He slipped into the bathroom with his clothes, cleaned up and got dressed. Now for the really not fun part.
Andrew's parents were lingering over Christmas waffles; they even used the tree shaped waffle maker. "Mom, dad, I'm going to get some air and hang out with a few friends. I won't be out long."
"Oh, honey... it's Christmas. We always spend Christmas in. Sit down and I'll get you some waffles. Your friends can join us if they'd like?" His mother offered and started to rise from her seat.
Andrew shifted his feet and wasn't sure whether to feel guilty or angry. It wasn't even Christmas, but his parents really looked let down. "Um. I know I don't normally, but, um... we just want to... celebrate. Meg's engaged to Dan and we're all pretty psyched about it."
Thankfully that seemed to work. His mother looked pleasantly shocked and his father beamed and nodded. "Alright, this year we'll let you go. That is a pretty good reason; you kids have fun."
"Thanks dad. Marissa will be here to pick me up pretty soon." Andrew waited until he left the dining room to sigh in relief. This whole day was so ridiculous; he couldn't believe he had to make an excuse just to leave the house!

Getting Sam to come also meant that she had a ride, and his parents would tell her parents where they went. Casey, in her relief, kept her thoughts to herself until they were standing out in front of the movie theatre.
Sam put his arm around her shoulder for a brief squeeze. "So, who else is coming?"
"Meg," she said as she met his grin. She turned her face up to the drifting snowflakes. "And she mentioned some other people."
Sam quirked an eyebrow, but he let it drop at that. He didn't hold any particular grudge against any of her friends. In fact, if someone didn't like him, the dislike was usually just on their side. Sam was pretty laid back about that sort of thing. Sure, there were people he'd prefer to be around and people he'd prefer not to, but making a fuss about it was out of the question.
"Sooo," he dragged out, "what movie are we all seeing, then?"
"Um..." This time she flushed as she failed to meet his eyes. "I don't know." Meg had mentioned what movie, but she didn't see it up on the scrolling board.

Meg looked up and saw Casey and Sam. "Guys! Yall made it. And might i say you two look adorable together." Meg laughed as Casey blushed. She stood up and chatted for a while asking how everything was and what allthey got for Christmas.

Twenty minutes later, after having run by their house so Marissa could change, they pulled up to Andrew's house to pick him up. Tristan honked the horn of his purple looking Concord. While they waited for Andrew to come out of his house, they listened to the last few remaining Christmas songs on the radio. Even though Christmas was over They seemed to be playing a lot of Christmas songs still. They found that odd. Finally getting sick of it, they popped in their anime theme songs CD, and began jamming out to the theme song to Dragon Ball Z. This had always been their favorite, and it held special memories for the both of them. Gohan, one of the main characters from the show, was their favorite character, and Tristan had come to be nicknamed Gohan in high school, while Marissa had come to be known as Videl, Gohan's future wife. Knowing what Marissa was thinking Tristan leaned over and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Like old times huh Videl?" he asked with a laugh. "Of course Gohan." She said back laughing herself.

Georgie was up already, scribbling a drawing on paper and perplexing her lack of brother. Hadn't he said yesterday that he was going to spend the whole day working so he could spend time with her on her birthday? She was already 18 because of the 26th, but she had the feeling that, somehow, it wasn't the 26th, and she was still 17. Silly, wasn't it?
Georgie checked the calender to make sure she wasn't going crazy, and stumbled back a bit.
it still said 25, with a big permanent marker all over it saying 'Christmas day!'
Yesterday, before she had gone to bed, Georgie had ripped the 25th off the day-by-day calender. And yet, it was back, with no tape on it, no torn edge, nothing to indicate that the paper had been ripped away. Georgie blinked, then pinched her thigh, which became a tad bit of pain.
Oh kay. So something is wrong. I'll just calm down and call Meg about it. She'll tell me I'm being foolish and I was just dreaming that it was Christmas yesterday, and that today's the real Christmas. With a new logic that she believed very much, Georgie picked up the phone and dialed Meg's cell. Please, please, pick up! Tell me I'm being foolish! Hurry!

Meg's cellphone rang and she looked at the caller id and almost hit herself for forgetting Georgie's birthday. She answered her phone "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! So how are things going Georgie?" Meg asked while praying that she knew it wasnt Christmas day and that it was her birthday.
