Yoske slipped in through the door, unnoticed. It had been long since she had celebrated- the undead, or the partially undead had no real reason to celebrate as a rule. But she did. She had managed to gather enough courage to get out of Kakariko and into the rest of the world. Finding courage warrants a celebration, or at least it had when her comrades were alive. So, she decided to head out to castle town and stop by an inn. Festive, snowy, nice. She sat down at the bar, Not wanting to remove her hood.
"A drink please. Whatever you have." she said, her voice husky. She couldn't help that. She looked around her. All these people, so festive! It made her wish she was alive.

Yoske drank deeply, enjoying the sensation of liquid and such. Normally she was afraid to drink. She didn't like the sensation of being drunk; she felt that it interfered with her ability to fight and sense. Also, there was the fact that she was undead and wasn't sure what this shell of a body could handle. She would like to keep it in good shape a bit longer. but it was a celebration, and the festive mood was incredibly infectious. She looked around the tavern, watching the living celebrate, almost tempted to join them.

((FWEE! I realize its late..haha ..ahh..really late but hey what the heck -enjoys rping- I just learned about this shops existence really hee hee now I know where all the cool pets come from!))
"Well now someone looks like they have a taste for liquor" the man smiled as he approached the woman, ordering a drink for himself as he moved to take a seat next to her. A calm welcoming smile on his face as he surveyed her and the rest of the people who had swarmed into the pub for its warmth and cheer. "And all alone too aren't you miss? Feh thats fine, I'm not really much of a people person myself, just a warm drink and a dark corner is all I really need" he chuckled, a pleasant sound, resting his elbows against the bar table as he swept a lock of dirty brown hair back behind his ear. There was still bits of snow melting on his coat from having come in from outside .

Yoske looked at the man calmly. She was fairly sure that once he figured out that she wasn't... well, alive, he'd leave soon enough. in the meantime, she'd enjoy his company. "Yes." she raises her glass, "Its warming and cheering... whatever they gave me" she glances into her mug, her eyes glowing softly, the rest of her face hidden by the shadows of her hood. "Yes. I am alone. More alone than you know, kind sir." she smiles again, another hidden one. "But I'm celebrating tonight."
((eheh. don't worry.))

Triton nodded, raising his own glass in accordance with hers. "Warm and cheering definitely, even if it does taste a little bitter sometimes" he chuckled noting the slight glow across her face, for that brief moment..but he dismissed it as the lighting in the place, the liquor even. Bringing the glass to his lips and sipping from it gingerly, finding a deep meaning in what shed said, and it sounded quite sad.
"That's good to hear, everyone should be celebrating tonight! Even if there's nothing to celebrate over, its still nice to be cheerful every now and then" he added taking another drink, something about her was just different. Not bad but different.

"Yes. You're right. One has to be cheerful whenever possible... one doesn't know when the next opportunity will be..." She shrugs, and calls for more of whatever the bartender had in stock. She wasn't picky. Anything that had a taste and a fire, really. "Hopefully, though, there's going to be many more opportunities to be cheerful for me soon." she smiles. Her smile, though hidden, is apparent in her voice. "So what brings you here, kind sir? Just a drink?"

Triton ((Lookie! I colored that picture I found on pb..-sighs- now if only I could find someone affordable to do lines for my guy..-shrugs- Its at least an example though..-needs to own a tablet- Hah then I could make my own lines!)) Triton laughed lightly and nodded "Exactly! You see my point, with the world being full of doom and gloom as it is" he grinned finding that he was actually enjoying having a conversation with someone for once, this girl seemed rather happy for someone sitting all alone. "Mmm, with that positive attitude I imagine some cheerfulness will float your way, luck changes like the seasons after all so, who knows" he shrugged wondering if she had any particular preference for alcohol, she just seemed to take whatever came her way, interesting. Giving her a quirky little smile as he downed his drink and ordered more of the same. "Feh me, a drink, a warm place, some beautiful women maybe? Really I'm just passing through, thought id stop for a bit since everyone seemed so damn festive here. I really don't stick in one place for to long though, I enjoy traveling far to much"

Yoske nodded. She understood the need to wander now, that she had not understood before. "It is nice to travel, even more so when there is nothing left at home and everything to find elsewhere." She drinks her drink, hoping it wouldn't loosen her tongue too much and let slip secrets she would rather not have known... Although really she didn't want to lose the company of this man. She was sure that they shared many things in common, although definitely not undeath. In fact, she thought as she scrutinized his face through the corners of her glowing eyes, He seems a prime example of a lively and vigorous person. She drinks more of her unknown liquor. Whatever the bartender had picked out wasn't bad. "I hope that I wont be just passing through, at least, not for a while. I hope I find a job, or learn where a job can be found while here." To break the monotony of lurking and haunting... she addede to herself, silently.

"Mmm, even more so when the world is your home my friend" he said in a warm satisfied way "I cant tell you how welcoming it is to wake up every morning and not be sure where your going, it gives life a nice sort of certainty" smiling softly as he sipped at his drink, the warmness of it settling nicely with him, really he needed to buy some of this, carry it with him wherever he went, it was his favorite brand of rum after all.
"Oh, a job, really? I'm sure you'll find something suitable for you here, this town seems lively enough. Probably lots of opportunity's for you, being a pretty young girl after all" a bit of teasing in his voice as he shrugged lightly, he didnt know whether she was pretty or not but she sounded pretty and seemed kind enough that it wouldnt matter if she wasnt. He could never stand to stay in a large town for to long. The thought of it left a bad taste in his mouth being somewhere familiar and full of people.
"If you find that you cant get any work here though" eying her slightly as he downed the rest of his drink "I always have openings for those who don't mind traveling the darker parts of this world.." he wasn't looking for a companion per say but if she needed work he always had plenty.

"Ironic, isn't it... how that works." she said, almost wistfully. He had a life he could be certain of. She just had an existance that she would rather not be certain of. oh well.
Pretty?! She laughed and laughed, the first time in gods-know-how-many-years that she had laughed, at least with any real mirth. Well... I used to be... she thought to herself. For all I know, I'm a rotting skeleton under this cloak and leather. Perhaps it was the liquor, loosening her hold on emotions pent up and submerged by her Garo Training. Perhaps it was the good company. Perhaps it was both. But it took her a few minutes to stop laughing.
Although, when he mentioned a job, she stopped and looked at him, glowing eyes- bright, intelligent, interested, etherial lights gazed at Triton intensely from under the dark, weatherworn hood. Although she wondered what work she could find in castle town itself that could use her... unique skills... as a Garo and as an undead, she doubted that any would be interesting for long. She had been hoping for a job as a royal assasin, as a spy, as ANYTHING, really.
But... This stranger's wanderlust awakened her own, the same thing that had driven her to hyrule, the same that had pulled her out of her depressed sulking in kakariko. He had also awakened her concern. She had seen the dark. She would rather that this man not walk alone in that place, not one as cheerful as he. Besides. The darkness had great evil, but also great treasure and goodness buried in it.
"I do not fear the dark." she said, seriously, watching him, knowing her eyes were obvious, dreading his reaction.

Triton nodded grinning for a moment, a bit shocked as she started laughing suddenly. As startling as it had been he couldn't help but soon join in with her, for no reason really just chuckling on his own. She had a beautiful laugh, one he'd like to hear much more often if it was such a happy sound all the time.
He nodded slowly as she turned to face him, accepting that answer as if he hadn't expected her to say anything else. "No, and why would you when you carry two bright lanterns of your own, the darkness probably never hinders you!" he snickered quietly as he referred to her eyes, they were the brightest strangest things he'd ever seen on a person. Maybe there was something evil in her, then again maybe he just had an affinity for people with strange talents! He would never know. "Ah if only mine were more like yours and much less talkative, feh he's probably up in our room now brooding and being moody while I sit here with you and enjoy myself" he felt that some people got all the luck, she had glowing eyes and he got stuck with a demonic little poe, he would gladly make a trade if only he could.
"Tell me though, honestly. Do your eyes always do that, or does that mean that you like me?" he said ever so cheerily as he set his sadly empty glass down on the counter, figuring that he had to drink just a little more before going anywhere..maybe a lot more? Mmm..decisions..

Yoske was surprised. She knew her eyes were bright and cold. She knew they illuminated nothing of her face.... probably a good thing. She knew they were blusish white, while her eyes... Before the curse... had been hazel She knew that most people, unless they were undead themselves or used to the undead, were frightened.
But this man, who was obviously alive...
Yoske found herself liking this human.
"Honestly, my eyes always glow, now. Thats why I wear this hood." Well, also to not let the rest of her undeath show, but... "Can we talk over at that table there?" she pointed to a table recently vacated over in a corner. She finishes her drink and looks at his mug. "We'll get another round at that table, on me."

"Aww..so does that mean that you don't like me?" he grinned nodding eagerly as he slid out of his seat. "Whatever you wish, tables are more comphy anyways" he shrugged rubbing the back of his neck as he glanced around. Shed said 'now' about her eyes..did that mean that they hadnt used to glow before? It was intriguing and he was drunk, really more prone to prod for things then he usually was..answers were always fun.
"Well since your offering to pay to, I cant possibly turn you down, that'd be unkind of me!" he never turned down an opportunity for something free, not when it came with such a nice woman to talk to attached to the offer. "You know, I get the feeling that kaiba would like you, heh and that's rare, he hates everthing.."

Yoske shook her head. "No. In fact, I'm enjoying your company." she grinned, or thought she grinned. Her hood shaded her face so completely. She bought two drinks of 'Whatever-the-bartender-had-given-him' and brought them to a table, sitting down. She shoved a mug to his side.
"Who is Kaiba?" she asked, finally.

Triton just beamed, so she was enjoying being with him! Yes! Score for him! Not that he could tell other then her voice..maybe she hated the cold too..or..light? Ah well her eyes were pretty and odd enough that he didnt care much about her face, the alcohol made sure to lessen that care to a bare minimum really.
He had to snicker for a moment when she asked about 'kaiba' gladly taking the mug into his hands, drinking from it before he even dared to answer. "Hee hee..ooh so you wanna know about him? Hah, kaiba is the bane of my existence, my constantly mocking curse that will follow me all the way to my grave!" he couldn't help but sigh and giggle a bit at how morbid that sounded, and yet how funny it was to him.
"Kaiba, my lovely friend, is a poe and my companion" he snorted at the word companion, the creature was a damned demon. Glancing away from her and her fetching eyes and non-existent face to his drink, deciding he needed to indulge himself a little more in its warm taste.
