Limdur nodded and started again flitting his wings. Granted they weren't feathery and beautiful as other winged stallions, but his large butterfly ones were handsome in their own right. He couldn't flap them exactly so the term "flitting or fluttering" took over. He easily just let the wind carry him, for the stallion actually was light as a feather. Maybe that's why it was so hard for him to learn to fly in the beginning. Him being so lightweight left a serious disadvantage heaving him this way and that. But Ama was so different holding a normal weight. So the branch thing might of been a tad silly for her, yet it was the way he knew best.
So he concentrated well tried anyway thinking just how pretty Ama was standing there so determined. He also pondered how nice it would be to have her as his mate. She was so beautiful and she sparkled like ice. She was incredibly facinating and full of vigor. She was.....
He had been trying so hard that he didn't realize the branch had another idea. Fluttering his wings and thinking on her being so beautiful didn't go hand in hand. So without warning he went sailing back and upward on a swirl of the wind causing him furiously to loose his balance and go tumbling back to the Earth landing in quite a strange way.
Head first then his tail he looked rather silly and indeed his pride stung from not experiencing that for a long time. But he began to chuckle and laugh till his sides hurt. Knowing it would help her not be afraid. His ego might of been bruised but his heart was determined.
Looking up he smiled art her, his mane sticky with brambles and old grass covered in dirt as his antenae bobbed, "Well... no one is perfect right?" he laughed in spite of himself, for her.
