Axel's heart and mind were torn apart. A part of him wanted to comfort Wica and the other part of him told him to leave and get out of this situation. He didn't know what to do. He didn't even notice Seraphia move towards him. This predicament was random and strange.
"You're not making things any easier." It wasn't like Wica to yell or get upset. "Stop being so childish and come back over here so we can finally end this." He didn't bother to move to go after her but he had clearly calmed down a little.
Axel was tired of these games and he felt sorry for dragging Seraphia into all of this. Now she was just getting involved with his past. He understood why Wica would yell at him but she really had no right. He heaved a huge sigh feeling like this was going to be a long day. Why couldn't he just have a normal day for once?

Seraphia stared after the mare as she ran off a delicate brow raised in disbelief. Really now that was no way to behave. She laughed lightly feeling quite amused by her reaction. The way she acted was not as much of a tramp as Phia had assumed she was but more of a lost little pup backed into a corner. Though, neither behavior was particularly favorable, at least not to the golden eyed mare.
"Did she always act this way?" She questioned turning her head upward to look at Axel. She was quite cheerful right now to be honest. While the mare's arrival was unpleasant she thought he was handling it quite well. She was especially pleased to hear him say that he wanted to end it.
How wonderful. Simply wonderful. She lowered her gaze to watch for the brown one's return eager to see the end.

His voice was just a soft sound now, she wasn't looking to going back. She wouldn't go back, she had ended it a long time ago. What else was there to end? What did he think there was to end? They had parted, she had a new life, what else was there? She had thought he had a new life now and she was just a distant thought in mind. Apparently not, coming to a stop a good distance away from them, she leaned on a tree and let her head hang. Wica wasn't going to go back, not if they were going to hurt her that way.
"I'm not going back," She muttered to herself as she scuffed at the ground with a hoof. "Never, he wants to end things, then he can end them alone."
Tail twitching behind her, she remained standing there, leaning against the tree, not even looking back the direction she had come. If she weren't already mated to her best friend and lover, she would give up on stallions all together. They seemed like nothing, but trouble, but alas, she was still in love with Ochoco. Why couldn't Axel just forget the past and move on? Snorting, she stomped and moved even further away, she had no thoughts of going back.
"He doesn't need me to end anything, he just wants me to feel guilty for leaving him. Well, phooy on him, then. Let him suffer, I don't care, like he never cared." Wica muttered to herself stopping again this time looking back, almost expecting someone to be following her, no one at least... Not yet.

Axel wasn't too surprised about her reaction but it definitely wasn't what he expected. "Phia, this is... exactly why I didn't want to come out here." Shrugging, he didn't regret his decision to coming out of the darkness but it was a problem.
He knew Wica was probably too far away to hear but he called out to her anyway. "Sorry that I wasn't over it. But again, you can't say that you never cared."
The stallion looked at Seraphia again and spoke, "I'm sorry for dragging you into all of this. Wica's being extremely foolish and immature." He made sure to say that loud enough so if Wica was anywhere near she would be sure to hear. He couldn't make her come back so he really just needed to drop it and move on with his life.
"I think... this encounter just made it much more easy for me to get over her even though I should have a long time ago. Sorry for caring about her so much." There was a slight bitterness yet revelation in his voice.

Seraphia bristled at the mare's words. A little fire lit behind her eyes and she looked as though she were about to bite someone. 'Phooy on him'? 'Let him suffer'? What exactly was with the stupid little brown tramps attitude? She had been the one to come over to them and she was acting as thought he had the problem.
Seraphia was going to break this girl into little tiny pieces and then laugh at what she had done.
She took a step forward her wings twitching slightly preparing to carry out her little plan. She stopped as Fire Spike spoke again. She turned to look at him her eyes asking for permission to beat the foolish and immature mare to a bloody pulp. Her voice, however, remained quite calm.
"It is not your fault so you do not apologize." She said smiling slightly. "She is the one causing problems, not you." A hint of venom slipped into her words as she spoke about the mare but it faded quickly. "As long as you are over her it hardly matters what happened before." She shrugged her wings lightly and peered over her shoulder trying to catch a glimpse of the brown mare. She wanted to have a little, chat, with her.

Wica bristled out as she apparently had turned and came back, to hear what was being said about her. Cheeks puffing out and snorted at the mare, looking toward Axel. It seemed he 'now' had a problem with how she acted, he never did, then again he never cared for her anyways, the only reason he came after her with the wolves attack was his own choosing, not that he liked her.
"If someone weren't a jerk, then things would have been different. You want closure Axel, then fine, take your bald beast and leave. Have a family and be happy." She shouted stretching her wings at her sides, she was going to leave after this. "Call me whatever you want, I gave you more then you deserved before our parting, more then I should have. I had given you my heart and all you could do was chip away at it, slowly letting it crack more and more." She took a breath putting her face closer to his. "Until it finally shattered, thank you for giving me reason to remain away from the trees my friend likes. Thank you for giving me reason to shed my still ever lasting care about you. There's your closure."
Wings held high, she let them fall, creating a gust of ar underneath her that swooped out before her wings pulled up again, there was pain and hurt in her golden eyes, and there was still care behind it, but that care she wondered was misplaced when she chose to still care about the well being of him. Turning her head away, she still ignored the mare behind her.
"Perhaps this new one you will be more tender of, before you shatter her heart the same way you did mine." Her tone quieted for only him to hear. "Good bye, Axel."

Stretching a wing in front of Seraphia, Axel didn't feel that violence was going to fix his problems. He listened to Seraphia's words and was somewhat comforted. "It's okay. You don't need to hurt her." For some reason, he wouldn't be surprised if she really did beat Wica to a pulp.
"Yes, you did give me a lot but you speak like I didn't give you anything. I could have left you to die but that would have been wrong. You've changed and I'm glad that I had no part in your change."
He meant every word he said; he felt bad for saying it but he knew it needed to be said. He listened to her words letting each of her words pierce his heart. "You're the one who left Wica. Don't try to pin this on me and don't act like I didn't care because I told you ever moment we were together how much I did. So, you can think whatever you want, that's on you."
Axel watched her take flight and he stole a glance at Seraphia. He shouldn't be allowed to be with anybody anymore. "Good by Wica. Hope you and your mate have a great life."

She blinked at his wing and stilled. So, she was not allowed to break her. What a pity.
As the mare reappeared Sreaphia began to shift not much wanting to stay put. Still, she stayed and listened but every word that came out the the brown one's mouth made it harder. She snarled at the names she was called very dearly wishing that she had the fangs of a demon so she could rip out her throat. Though even with those she was still not to move. She frowned, why wouldn't he let her play even for just a moment?
It was fairly clear by his words that he was not any more pleased with her then she was. It was frustrating but still she sighed and fell silent once again simply listening to the exchange. A little pang hit her at some of his words though. He told her that he cared often? It bothered her. She hadn't heard that before, not from him. She did her best to push it from her mind to refocus on other things. The brown one's departure, for instance.
As she flew off Seraphia snorted and tossed her head. "She speaks as though I am fragile." She said, her rather arrogant tone returning full force. "I will not break...not easily."

"You had always told me that there was someone out there better then you and hoped that I would find them. At the time, there wasn't anyone. Until my old friend reappeared, I thought you would have been happy, I was only burdening you," Wica looked away before lifting into the air, though she gave him a nuzzle all the same.
"I can only hope that you gain happiness Axel, and have a family of your own. If you ever see a stallion that looks like a blizzard, that's Pyry. Someone who idolizes you. So be gentle with him." Turning away she went higher and soared away from them, leaving them to do whatever they wanted.

Watching Wica fly away, Axel looked back at Seraphia wondering if she thought any different of him now. "It's alright, Phia. Wica was probably right."And don't listen to her. she doesn't know you." Axel wasn't sure what he was supposed to do now. Axel felt a little relieved though... it felt good to finally confront her.
His usually good humor was gone but Axel tried not be so depressing. "So, Phia. How are you?" His question was awkward and strangely placed but he wasn't sure what else he could say at this moment.
His mind was reeling with thoughts about what Wica had said. Axel felt a great weight lifted off of his shoulder's. He felt complacent though... This meeting really helped him understand himself and his pains a bit more.

Her wings twitched again. She wanted to fly up and knock her out of the air, but it was too late for that. She was gone. Seraphia let out a sigh and turned to look at Axel as he spoke. "Clearly she does not know or she would not have spoken about me in such a way." She nodded her head firmly. That mare was foolish and one day it would land her into a world of hurt.
She raised an eyebrow and stared at him blankly for a while. "You are serious?" She asked in disbelief. Really how random. She shook her head but smiled. "I am confused, irritated, dearly wishing my wings worked, and something else..." Her voice trailed off and she frowned.
"What is on your mind?" She asked softly stepping closer to him. She had answered the question only because it had been asked. It didn't fit. She got the feeling that something was wrong or at least it wasn't completely right.

He pulled his wing back to his body and he relaxed ever so slightly. The stallion nodded in agreement with her statement. "Yes, I'm quite serious." He paused and listened to her explain what she was feeling. "I see...." He didn't bother to question her statements.
"Uh." Pausing, Axel gathered up his thoughts before answering her question. "Well, a lot of things are on my mind. It's kind of... a numbing feeling but I think that was a good thing. I think that I could have handled myself differently but nothing I can do about that now... What about you?" He was feeling rather exhausted now but he liked talking to Seraphia. She made him feel human and more like himself. That's probably why he thought about her often.

She tilted her head to the side slightly at what he said. A numbing feeling? She wasn't quite sure she understood that. The only numbness she had ever felt were physical things involving the bite of winter's air or the chill of deep water. She shuddered slightly at the memory before pushing it away. There was no time to think about that right now or ever in the future.
"It's true...you could have, but things went oh so smoothly this way." Her tone was serious but there was a hint of a smirk on her face. Truthfully she didn't think things could have gone much better. The brown one didn't seem to want to listen to anything Axel said. It was her fault things went poorly and she got a feeling that nothing would have changed that. Logic aside she was perfectly content with the way he handled himself. It just simply worked.
"Me?" Her eyes drifted upward slightly in thought. The meeting was on her mind as well but not in the same way. "I will give you three guesses, Fire Spike." She said fixing her eyes on him a mysterious smile creeping on to her face. Really, what fun would it be if she simply told him?

Shrugging, Axel couldn't complain because that definitely helped in more ways than one. The stallion was still enveloped by his thoughts but he wanted to keep talking to Seraphia. She kept him distracted and he really liked talking to her. "Yeah..."
Axel looked at Seraphia once again observing her actions. "Guess? I don't... really like guessing." But he could probably play her games for once. "Well, I think you're thinking bad thoughts about Wica and probably about me too right?" He tried to think logically about what she could be thinking about. She probably had some thoughts about the confrontation.
Sighing, Axel probably needed to let go and relax a bit.

He didn't like guessing? How boring. She didn't much like telling when she wanted to play. She began to frown before he spoke up again. What he said made her blink in a bit of shock. She had expected that he would eventually guess what she had been thinking but had not imagined it would be this quick.
She laughed lightly her wings moving with the sound. "It seems you know me too well or else I am too easy to read." She said with a small smile on her face. "I may have to change that." A sigh passed through her lips and she shook her head.
"However, you are wrong about one thing...the thoughts of you are not bad ones." Perhaps she was misunderstanding what he meant. There was a chance that he was only saying that she was thinking of him and thinking horrible things about Wicapi Wakan. In that case he was entirely correct. Entirely right or partly wrong it did not truly matter his answer had ended the game. With it gone she was beginning to notice more things. Things that may be linked to what he had called a numbing feeling.
Had that damn mare really hurt him this much...again? They had said it was the end. Perhaps it was for them and it likely meant that he would be recovering soon enough. For Seraphia it was not over yet. She had a few things she wanted to teach that mare still, lessons that would not be easily forgotten. The strength of an angel, for instance.
