"Yeah my brothers are really nice. Except Kahlua but he's in public so he'll just be quiet and keep to himself." the girl responded, bouncing over a bit to peek out as well.

"Dat's good," Lironax said absently, focusing on scanning the crowds for his foster father. It was proving to be a much harder task that it usually was. While his daddy stood out with his skunky hair and all, here at this carnival, there were so many different colored people that they were making Lir a little dizzy. Still, he kept looking, until finally-
"Lookee, Ebbee, dere he is! Dat's mah daddee!" The child pointed happily at the young man that was weeding his way through the screaming children and chortling parents towards the moon bounce. Looking a little worse-for-wear, he finally arrived at the netting of the moon bounce, and gestured for Lironax to follow him. "There you are. C'mon Lir; 's time to go.
The small boy bounced in what might be construed as a defiant way, if he knew how to convey such emotion, and didn't move from his spot. "But Daddee, I made a new friend! Dontcha wanna say hi?" Sighing and running his fingers through his striped hair, Silas decided on humoring his spawn and smiled tiredly at the other Lust child. "Hello there, little girl. Are you waiting for your family, too?"

Ebby grinned up at Silas. "Oh, sorta. My brothers are about getting food. Lir and I wanted to go have some too but if you're tired, Mister, maybe you two should go home?" the girl intoned softly, noticing how the man looked

Silas smiled up at the purple-skinned girl, relieved to hear that she understood that he was tired. He nodded slowly up at the bouncing pair. "Yeah, it sounds like a blast, but unfortunately, we gotta be getting home." He gestured at Lironax to get down, trying to convey that he was not going to budge on this.
Lironax frowned just a little bit, but obliged, bouncing out of the moon-bounce and putting his socks and shoes back on his feet. He walked over to where Silas was and obediently wrapped his tentacle around his foster father's wrist. He looked back up at Ebony and waved, smiling just a little. "Buh-bye, Ebbee. 'S was nice meetin' ya."
Silas waved as well, then turned and guided the toddler away from the carnival. "Don't look so glum, Lir. It'll probably still be here tomorrow. We can come back for a bit, if you like." Lironax smiled and nodded quickly in response. He was looking quite forward to it.

"Wait, Lir!" Ebby suddenly called and rushed out after them, carrying the teddy bear and offering it back to the child. "You forgot your bear."

At the call from Ebony, Lironax skidded to a complete stop. How could he have forgotten Vicky? Ooh, he was probably going to be in a lot of trouble with him now... Silas did a bit of a double-take at the sudden halt, but didn't protest. He knew that no amount of pleading or cajoling would make Lir leave the raggedy bear behind. All he could do was wait impatiently for the other spawn, tapping his foot in mild irritation.
Once Vicky was in range, Lir's tentacle snapped out and practically yanked it out of Ebony's hands, holding close and practically in a death grip. For a few moments, the boy's attention was solely on his (semi) constant companion as he muttered apologies to it quietly. Eventually, his tentacle has relaxed slightly, and he looked up with a smile on his face, the crisis apparently over. "F-Fank you, Ebbee. Dat was rully close. Vickee wouldn't 'ave much liked bein' a carve-ni-val bear." Here he moved the toy so it looked like it was nodding, then glanced over his shoulder and whispered conspiratorially. "'S prolly good if I goes now. My daddee's gettin' all 'mpashunt." With a few nods and a giggle, the boy waved goodbye once again and turned on his heel, allowing Silas to (finally) take his hand and lead him out of the carnival.

"Yeah, sorry. Just wanted to give that back." Ebby explained before darting back to the moon bounce. Well that'd been interesting.
